Now we are talking the " Creme De La Creme "!! The " BRUCE LEE BIBLE " Itself!!I'm drawing up " Papers " on you guys, come the end of the week!! You Dear, Sweet People have become very endearing to me. For you've bought back to me things I thought to have since been " Lost " or " Forgotten ". This book was written by Lee mostly, while bed-ridden of a back injury. Did you know that Bruce could draw?? The anatomy and symmetrical aspects of the illustrations are so " Precise ", they're Frightening. If you would " Care " or " Dare " to take an " Intimate " and " Eclectic " Journey into this Master's art, " Have some Tea? " and prepare your mind for a " Sumptuous Feast " . Remember....! " We...! Emotional Content " . " A-DRUM " G .

This book does not read easy. It really opens your mind to a different way of looking at life, nature and the human body. Bruce Lee was the best there ever was and this book really takes you deep into his thoughts.

I revisited my own copy, after thirty years since initial purchase. My second purchase was a gift to a friend. I was reminded that life is a philosophical, artful, and particularly mindful journey. This book covers lots of territory. You don't have to fight to use Martial Arts every day.
Bruce Lee's Fighting Method, Vol. 3 :: Tao of Jeet Kune Do: New Expanded Edition :: Discovering What Death Can Teach Us About Living Fully :: A Practical Guide to Self-Mastery (11.1.2009) - The Fifth Agreement :: Bruce Lee The Art of Expressing the Human Body (Bruce Lee Library)

The book has good quality and for the book itself, I like it. But I do feel this book is not that much educational, it's basically Bruce Lee's philosophy. The book is more like a collection for Bruce Lee's fan.

as well as hand drawn diagrams of how to
fight with no frills. And from the start
he suggests Eye Gouging and groin punches
kicks or PULLS to immediately incapacitate.
But again, much fundemental wisdom for
everyday life. No frills. No unecessary movments
to acheive your goals. No pretense! Just clean straight
forward living and self defense. Simpler the better. And
to make Jeet Kune Do your life philosophy. Highly recommended.
I hope Bruce's widow gets every penny of the money from the sale
of these books. Hightly recommmended for Advanced martial artists,
beginners or those interested in Bruce's philosophy of life!

To understand the man, hero, and legend you have to understand the mind of Mr. Lee. Bruce Lee purposely made this book for reasons to understand combat, analyzing physical situations, and ideas about emotion and respect to others. Bruce Lee's ideas are by far still practice today and this book is to understand why he became a hero through all ethnicity and men. Mr. Lee can looked by people as a man that created his own martial art, work-out routine, physique, and in entertainment. If you wish to understand Bruce Lee than I strongly suggest this book to understand his ideas, philosophies, and lessons.

This book is great for Martial artists and Bruce Lee fans. It shows his philosophy, training, qualities a fighter needs such as good form, endurance, balance, power, precision etc. It shows his notes on JKD, those that were meant for people who wanted to learn, and some that were jotted down for himself. This book has great information, every martial artist or martial art enthusiast should add this to their personal library, I highly recommend this book.
As Bruce Lee said JKD isn't a style, it has no end. You should take what is useful to you in this book and add other views, or martial arts that is also useful to you. For example an mma fighter will have no use for throat hits, eye gouges, and low blows, where a person simply looking to defend oneself will find them useful.

If you are looking for the most comprehensive Jeet Kun Do books, then Bruce Lee's "Tao of Jeet Kun Do" and "Bruce Lee's Fighting Method" dooks and videos are the only reference materials you need. Only books written by Bruce himself are worthy of Jeet Kun Do instruction.

This book is intense with information on how to kick ass and how to be effective in combat. It is an anecdote to Bruce Lee's life as a Martial Artist, and thought process. This book not only teaches techniques but it also teaches principles that are related to the Zen mindset along with Confucianism . Its a great read for any one who is interested in Bruce Lee and Martial Arts. Reason why I gave it this rating is because I don't fully engage in combat myself. I do believe the ideals and concepts, it is interesting to think about Confucius theories. I haven't read it completely but from what I read, it was worth the money.

It is important to note when you are reading this book that it is a gathering of a collection of notes that Bruce wrote throughout his career that were organized together into a more presentable fashion. But I still feel it is invaluable.
