Held my interest. Loved the characters, especially Sip, the werewolf and Lisabelle, the dark mage. Their back and forth is hilarious. Overall, the book seems to parallel the Harry Potter series plots, but I loved Harry Potter, so I don't really mind.

Great characters, intriguing situation, and lots of action. Bought the second book and can't wait to get started. If you're looking for a Harry Potter at college with a little Twilight thrown in, this is the book for you.

For readers of Harry Potter, there will some striking similarities. The evil seeming professor with the good intentioned heart, the main character unaware of their full potential, the one you thought you could trust not being who you thought they were.

I read this book and wanted to rush along a conclusion I came to in chapter 3 and while most of them were true the ending did shock me. The struggles and frustrations Charlotte goes through endears her to you and has you rooting for her until the end.

Good read overall.

This book is pretty well done. Charlotte is an appealing protagonist, although occasionally annoyingly obtuse. The supporting characters are fun. Edwards is at her best when she stops trying to imitate Rowling and allows her story to stand on its own merits. I'd recommend it and I'd read more of the series.

The story reminded me a bit of Harry Potter except there were more than just wizards involved. I loved the strong characters and the twist surprised me which I love. It ended enough to not leave you hanging but I definitely want to read more.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It kept me captivated as I love a story that I cannot foretell the next part. Maddy did a great job with this story. I would recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy and magic and the paranormal of witches and werewolves.

Paranormal Public is a fairly good book. Some of the writing was a bit corny, and it deeply resembles a paranormal Harry Potter, so maybe I just enjoy a more adult sort of novel.

Nevertheless I will probably continue this series and see where the author takes the idea.

Parts of the story border some of the current fantasy books, but overall the plot is distinctive. The characters definitely have their own qualities and are quite entertaining. The relationship between all of the characters is fun and will make you laugh! It is a cute read!

This book, despite its length, was actually a very quick and entertaining read. Yes the setting is once again in a college, and yes we seem to have that everywhere at the moment, but this story seems to have a little more depth. The characters are unique and easy to connect with, and therefore makes this story, in my personal opinion... different.

As well as unique, the characters are likeable, and of course we have a forbidden love theme going on too, which I happen to LOVE! We also read about demons, magic and many mythical beings, all of which keep you hooked to the pages.

The only gripes I have with the book is that some things in there are very similar to other things I've read recently. I know the characters are unique, but the setting once again put me back in school and I would have enjoyed being somewhere else.

"Paranormal Public" was a fun, easy read, something a 12 year old or a 40 year old can enjoy. I'm closer to the 40 side, so I had plenty of strong suspicions about exactly what was going on, but I don't think a younger reader would. All in all, it was a nice way to spend a Saturday!
