No one knows the original author of this book but God does. My pastor read it in church & I wept, I bought many of these books and gave them out as gifts. The most incredible tale I have ever heard

I purchased this book, one for each of my daughter's families. It is a great book to read together at a minimum on Christmas and Easter. Excellent story, wording that even little ones can begin to grasp.

A lovely story of wishes that seemed unfulfilled, but instead morph into something greater than hoped for. A good story of the love of God without being smarmy. I used this at Christmas to read to about thirty children, who seemed very attentive. Good pictures. However, could also be used for Easter or at anytime for that matter.

This is a beautiful expanded collector's edition of this book, with soft, attractive illlustrations. The tale of how 3 trees each became Christ's manger, or ship, or cross. It is a great gift for Christmas or Easter for pre-k thru elementary age children. I given several copies for gifts.
