Review:Bought this set for my son. I was really excited to get it for him. The stories are the same, however the artist changed. I was a bit disappointed with that because i thought the original art was much more creepy than the new artist. But it is about the stories so I'm happy with the purchase. Read more
Review:My (almost) 3 year old loooooves this book! He doesn't get scared easily and loves ghosts, pirates and all things spooky. If your child gets scared easily, just look at the cover and read the title, it probably isn't a good book for them. When I first read it my first thought was "What the *heck* is this?? How is this a book for kids??" Especially about the girl named Jenny whos head falls off.. But for some reason my son thought that was funny and that's his favourite story in the book.

Review:These were my favorite scary stories to read as a kid. I recently pulled these books off the shelf and gave it a quick read, not as scary as when i was a kid, but it sure was fun reading it to my 3 daughters and giving them a taste of "scary stories." But i'm not going to lie, the artwork in these books still terrifies me.
They are now the books I take with us when we go on our family camping trips. reading the stories around the camp fire is nostalgic for me and terrifying for them, it's... Read more

Review:16 year old Katherine (Kit) has just made a weary journey from Barbados to New England by ship. She has almost been accused of being a witch, for normal girls do not know how to swim. Her first impression of America isn't too grand; dreary, cold, and wet. She misses her Grandfather and the warm shores of Barbados. When Kit reaches her relative's home, her mood is just dampened. Uncle Mathew is a strict Puritan, and he won't accept any of the fineries that Kit has brought along. Uncle Mathew's wi... Read more
Review:Sometimes deciding what to make for dinner is the hardest part of the day. This is true even for monster who are planning to turn human children into the main ingredient of it.
The premise of this tale caught my attention immediately. I’ve always loved children’s fiction that has a dark side, especially if it includes the horror genre in a playful way. The best moments of Eve and Henry’s adventures were the ones that showed what can happen to kids who refuse to stop whining. Not only were... Read more
