Star Wars: Jedi Academy

"Star Wars Jedi Academy" by Jeffrey Brown is a great way to introduce Star Wars to the younger generation. My husband (a HUGE Star Wars fan) and our five year old son LOVE to read this book together. The author writes in a humorous and engaging style - giving older Star Wars fans enough relatable material but also keeping it fresh and fun for young new fans. The book is written with a combination of traditional graphic novel style pages along with personal journal entries from the main character.

I will not bore you with a summary of the book (it's clearly listed on the the store page and the numerous other reviews) but I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to any Star Wars fan or those just looking for a good, clean fun middle school read. Jeffrey Brown has expertly captured the fun, awkwardness, frustrations and humor that come with the school-age years. Can't wait to get the next book in the series!

My grandson I thought wrote this on his christmas list (so I thought) so I ordered it. After I gave it to him, he couldn't put it down. He said to me Gee gammy that was a good book and I said "well honey you know how to pick them" and of course he said but I didn't so that is where I realized I had made the mistake but it was a "good mistake" this time.
