This is the third book in the Disciples series. Johnathan works for Lucifer (from the first book Keeping Lily) but owns his own gritty bar. Of course he has it that way to keep the spoiled princesses and CEO types out of his bar. But that doesn’t stop Beth and her friends from a night out when her daddy, the Senator, is out of town. Things go horribly wrong when the girls are snatched right out of Johnathan’s parking lot. He’s pissed! Do these guys not know who they’re screwing with?? Once Johnathan and the rest of Lucifer’s crew find the girls at an auction Johnathan makes the simple decision that since he bought her, Beth is now his. End of story, right? Not so much.

My feelings about this book were mixed. The good points about this book included the fast moving plot, the interesting characters, and the dark setting. Things that bothered me most about this book include the horrible language, the lack of details to add more definition to the story, and it moved too fast at times. The words used in this book were almost too simple as well. The characters lacked proper chemistry to make it a great love story. I don’t like overly descriptive, crude sex scenes either. If you like books filled with dark, crude characters, plot, and high amounts of action then you should like this book.

A fantastic addition to the series. The relationship between Beth and Johnathan is more than attraction at first sight. To watch a alpha male become so strongly attached to someone is addictive. I just started reading this story and before I knew it I had skipped dinner and was up late into the night reading. That is what this series causes. Each book gets better and this story does not disappoint. I liked how Johnathan not only was attracted to Beth but his softness toward Charlie. When he explained to him about being held prisoner I felt the softness he actually has. I also enjoyed how he kept saying Beth would be the cause of his death. This story left me impatient for more.

Wow, this was my introduction to this series and I didn't need to have read the first two books for this one to make sense and fall in love with these dark and riveting characters. I'm definitely going to look for and read the first two books.

I felt like I was right there with Beth as she experiences her emotional highs and lows and I love how dark and raw Jonathon is except for when it comes to interacting with Beth who he definitely feels much more intense feelings of love/lust for.

I really liked Buying Beth. I really found myself enjoying the darker elements to this book. It had its dark moments but also had enough romance to keep me sucked into the story. I really wished I had gotten to read the first two books in this series. Not that it’s necessary, it would have just given me a better feel on all of the secondary characters from the earlier books. I will definitely go back now and read those. This book was so action packed that it ended well before I was expecting. I would have loved this book to have been even longer just because I loved Johnathan and Beth so much!

A dark romance that is pure, raw and intense. Izzy and Sean have done a phenomenal job with Buying Beth. I wasn't sure if it would be as good as "Stealing Amy" but it's so much better. Jonathan wants what he wants and doesn't candy coat it. That is just hot.

This was an incredible story – gritty, graphically brutal at times, humorous, and yes, even sweet and romantic! The characters were very well developed. The chemistry and steamy scenes between Beth and Johnathan were smoking hot! I loved the interactions between the men – so funny, and such typical guy behavior. The premise played out smoothly and had me devouring each page quickly – the writing was that good! I’m now going to back-track and read the first two books in this series – immediately! I absolutely loved reading Buying beth by Izzy sweer and Sean moriarty. I have loved every book in this series but this has to be my favorite. The story was exciting and full of thrills and enough hotness to keep you on the edge. The characters were fabulously written with an unmistakable bond between them. This is a definite must read that you wont want to miss.

This is one superb read. My first of this brilliant author. I only wish I could have read 1 and 2 in the series first. This story had forbidden, danger and was so exciting that I could not put the book down. A great page turner. This book is my idea of heaven a dark, dangerous romance with alpha males. Beth and Johnathan were made for each other, with her innocence and his dirty words. He buys her and owns her. The Russian mob he dealt with to save her over and over again. What with the Italians, the Russian mob and her Father, Jonathan and the team with Lucifer get their revenge for Beth. This is my honest review of an ARC I received.

Nonstop action and sizzling scenes. This series definitely gets its hooks into you and doesn’t let go. The male leads are part of a mobster family, the female leads are in the wrong place, usually with the wrong man, at the wrong time...but it all seems to work out in the end. Definitely not your black and white good versus evil...definitely some shades of gray mixed in. This third book continues to grow on the mobster family as each of the boss’s men start finding and keeping wives of their own. I love how we still connect with past characters but each book could be a standalone as well. Still better to read in order.

Loved this story. Jonathan and Beth were an amazing couple. Lots of adventure as usual in this series. Loved catching up with some of the characters from the previous books. Beth had a hard life. Her father was a Senator, and he basically abused her. She had some best friends, and they take her out. She meets Jonathan, and the chemistry is off the charts. Great love story with lots of action. Great read. Can't wait for the next one in the series.

I am melting!!! This book was so good. Jonathan is the hottest criminal ever, and he has his eyes set on Beth. As experienced and driven as Jonathan is, Beth is quite the opposite. A politician’s daughter, who has always felt she was trapped in a cage of good manners, is busting out of that mold. She feels freedom with Jonathan and that was one of the greatest gifts he could give her.
Story is compelling, all well-developed characters and excellent storyline makes this a best seller.

The author captured the evil of the slave trade with a romantic notion.
Beth is the daughter of an over bearing senator trying to escape for a night with her girl friends when they are abducted.

Jonathon is the owner of the bar they were drinking at but he is that and so much more.

And so begins a story of passion that turns to love, pain that turns to revenge and the building of a family. Could not put the book down until i was finished.

Really liked this book and will now have to stalk another writer for more in this series. A dark adventure with a theme of Mafia types, child porn, sex slavery and kidnappings. The characters come to life in a real and gritty adventure with Jonathan rescuing Beth and her friends from a life of slavery after being kidnapped at his bar. It is packed with action and instant love for Jonathan who decides he can't part with Beth after purchasing her at the auction. I highly recommend this read for anyone wanting an alpha hero romance.

Buying Beth is about a girl who gets kidnapped with three of her high profile friends. Their kidnappers are intent on selling them. Jonathan is the man who makes it his mission to save her by buying her and then, falling for her, he decides to keep her. The chemistry is kind of wow! And the love story is sweet. There are some gruesome aspects to this story, but not enough to make me not like the book. This was a very good read.

This was a violent and gritty dark romance. I applauded Beth for her perseverance through her captivity, Johnathan and his men might also have criminal intent, but at least they weren't peddling flesh, and there was a moral compass in there somewhere. I found a liking for him despite his unsavory mafia connections. He wanted to save Beth but he wasn't prepared to let her go either. The rough scenes were well done, and they sucked me right into the story. I wanted to know if and how they survived their ordeal so badly!

This book is intense! Jonathan and Beth meets in a bar where she and her friends are trying to have a good time under the radar of their high profile fathers. When they meet the connection is powerful for the short time that they spend in each other's company. Beth and her friends are apprehended as they leave the bar. When Jonathan finds out he leaves no stones unturned to get her and her friends back. This book was exhausting to read it had my adrenalin way up with the intensity and drama.

I received an Advanced Readers Copy. This is the third book in the Disciples Series. Can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the previous books first if you can. Fun book to read, Johnathan enjoys the F word and Beth needs slapped upside her head a few times but overall I enjoyed it. Warning, the girls go on a girls night out with devastating consequences, those scenes might be triggers for some readers. Overall it's steamy with a mix of humor and action. I'm looking forward to reading Simon's book next.

And the savagery is beautiful!! Jonathan and Beth have a chance meeting in a bar. Beth gets kidnapped and Jonathan rescues her. The chemistry is amazing and scenes are steamy!!!! Beth is such a believable character, strong willed without being obnoxiously stubborn. Jonathan is dirty and brutal. He makes no apologies about who he is and what he wants. I absolutely loved the continuation of this story and can't wait to see more!!

First book I have read by this writing team. There were moments I enjoyed and others that frustrated me (not having a conversation explaining how Jonathan came to rescue Beth other than to say he bought her and now owns her made me cray) the book had such potential to be so much more. I hope in the future they flesh it out because in doing so will offer the fluidity and extra spark it needs.

Izzy sweet is not so sweet! This book was a dark romance that captivated me.
Beth might have been sheltered but she is a strong female lead. No simmering miss here. She was relatable as a character and her strength was impressive.
Jonathon is a sexy, coarse, filthy man, and I LOVED it.
Possible trigger warning though only told on the side. This is a must read author.

Beth wants a little freedom from her father’s oppression. Johnathan just wants her. Kidnapping, human trafficking, and depravity are not the adventures Beth sought. The book had an instant love feel to it. I have mixed feelings for Jonathan but towards the end I ended up liking him. If you like dark romance books then you should give this book a try. I can’t wait to read Simon’s book.

Hot I’ve never been into criminal stories but I loved this book. Jonathan works for Lucifer doing a lot of the clean up work, when Beth walks into his bar and they click. Then things go wrong and Jonathan has to rescue/buy Beth.
I highly recommend this book if you like alpha males.

What a fabulous book--a heart-pounding roller coaster ride from the first page, complete with hot sex and wonderful, gushy love! This was my first book by this husband and wife writing duo, and I can't wait to go get the first two of the series! Highly recommend Buying Beth. I enjoyed this book. The plot was engaging, the chemistry came through well, and the writing was a gritty, dark style that fed into the character development beautifully. The only real issue I had was some grammar and syntax errors that (as a grammar nerd) pulled me out of the story. Otherwise, I enjoyed this very much. I loved Jonathan from the very beginning but he caved into domesticity just a tad too quickly for my taste. I felt like he should have fought it for a chapter of two longer. Beth was obnoxious at first, but her growth was both believable and enjoyable. Overall, this was a good read.

Wow! This story was great! There was so much excitement and jaw dropping moments. I literally had my mouth agape most of the time! I said, holy crap, did that just happen, quite often. I loved Jonathan and his gruffness.

Whew! Johnathan had my kindle on fire. He is alpha, intense, protective, possessive and extremely hot. The story was good and filled with suspense from beginning to end, but Johnathan definitely made the book worth reading. It has a lot of dark moments but mixed in are bits and pieces of humor with "you're next". Loved it!

This might not be for everyone since parts of it are very dark, but not without purpose. Fate truly twisted for Jonathan and Elizabeth all in one night. Some twists you are truly never come back from. Each is changed from then on.
