False Blood (Blood Series Book 1)

I did like this book. Just to so sure about it at the same time. There just seemed to be something off. I don't know if it was how it seemed on the border edge of the main character having no "flaws". Or how the pace moved too fast for each seen.
This is my opinion. But I did really enjoy it...just might wait to finish it and see if I have a different way looking at it in the future. Sorry.

I really enjoyed this story it was short but had a lot packed in it. I really liked the main character. She was a smart ass that had me cracking up. Her guys were hot and funny. I didn't care for Talon at first and didn't quite like the explanation given for his behavior but I just rolled with it because I liked the rest of the book. I will be buying the next book in the series.

The plot of this story is actually fairly well thought out. However, I have more of a conservative point of view thus the idea of having multiple partners simultaneously was vey off putting. I respect everyone's opinions but I personally would not let my 16 year old pick this up even though it is under the young adult genre. Overall a good idea but the romantic aspects completely ruined the story for me.

Oh man I loved this book. Love Emerald, she is feisty and head strong. Qualities that I love in female characters. Add in the fact that she is half vampire/ half werewolf and you have Em. Throw in the mix 3 hot vampires who are soul tied to her and Man does it get hot fast. Can't wait to see what happens next

This was great shifter/ vampire RH Read. So much tension! This story ties into the age old tale of shifters hating vampires and vice verse. Our MC is spunky and doesn’t take any crap which I live in an MC. I love all of her men. I need the next one bc I need them all to get together!!

completely disappointed. they need to poor a disclaimer on books if they're going to be serials. it doesn't say this is book one or part of a serial, but that is what it is rrrrrrrrrrr!!!! i would never had bought if i had known ?. nothing is solved. we basically just get an intro of what could be a great story.

I was impatiently waiting for this book to come out and it did not disappoint!!! I loved Emerald and the guys ( even though Talon acted like a jerk at first) and who doesn't need a spunky best friend like Britt! Don't hesitate to pick up this book because Tamara White definitely delivered again!!!

This book is a definite must read! It has every aspect of the paranormal in it, from vampires to werewolf's to witches. I liked that it's just a bit different than your 'normal' paranormal book. The book had me hooked from the beginning and I can't wait for book 2!

Loved it - fair bit of predictability but in a classic not boring way. Pretty fast passed plot with slight twists on the standard mating, nice girl vs bitchy ex, crossbreed etc concepts. Sadly a bit on the short side, but perfect if you're running low on brain power.

Fast paced story that pulls you in from the start. I really love reading this story and I look forward to see how it will progress in the other installments. The only complaint that I had is that it is not long enough.

Nice job Tamara! This is a great read. You can't help but fall in love with her delicious men. Her best friend is amaze balls as well and can't wait for her story to come out. Excitedly waiting for book two!!

I really enjoyed this story. The characters are fun and sassy. The world the author created as interesting and different. On top of that, the romance was smoking hot. All and all it was a great book.

Some of the plot moved too quickly and relied on too much telling. For example the animosity between Emerald, Xander and Brendan (anyone else catch the Buffy reference in the latter two names?) wasn't really shown. Emerald mentions there was some bad blood and then crazy weird climax occurs. It just felt like the animosity between characters needed more time and scenes to develop organically. Overall I liked it, but it was definitely one of those books that feels too rushed.

This idea of this book is really great but the execution is lacking a bit. The writing is really juvenile and the book felt incredibly rushed. Certain things were just skimmed over while less important parts would go on and on. Also the MC acted like a 16 year old girl instead of the 21 year old women she was suppose to be. However, I like the idea of the story and enjoyed the guys a lot. Hopefully the writing gets better as the series progresses.

This was a pretty decent read. It was fast paced with some humor and action thrown in. I'm actuality surprised I haven't read anything by this author before. I will be reading the next book in this series as soon as it comes out, also I'm looking forward to Britt's story.

Damn this was good!! Woohoo a different kind of story one I'm falling in love with! But hopefully soon have part 2? Ill not give anything away but will tell you this, this Twitter is awesome! I read her other books like this and love them and will be back for more, I read this one in one day!

I loved this book! Finding out your not who you thought you where and that your dad is not your dad. That and finding out that your real mom and dad thought you were dead all your life. Can't wait for the second book.

This book had me hooked from beginning to end. It is the first Tamara White book I have read and I am thoroughly impressed. I enjoyed the character development and how each one is relatable. That being said I am desperately waiting for book 2.

Very quick reading. Talon was stupid. Who agrees to be with someone, that someone sleeps with whomever, and then has a hard time breaking up. That is someone emotionally unstable. Both Nick and Devon were okay.

Good beginning to a series. I enjoyed getting to know the different guys. The bad guys seemed a little two dimensional, but perhaps this will change as the series goes on. I actually like Emerald, which can be difficult with some of the female leads.

I devoured this book in 6 hours, it was amazing! I love the banter and smart mouth Emerald has and the boys, blew me away . Paranormal romance at its best ! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with a wolf or vamp reading addiction!

I really liked this story but it was unfinished. Some of the dialogue read like a young adult book. I figure that a book 2 will be coming out. I'm one of those people who prefer complete books. That's why I only gave it 4 stars.

I have had this book in my library for a while, and decided to give it a try. Honestly, I was disappointed only that it had taken me so long to get to this story.
I truly enjoyed this book. The premise was interesting, and the characters were fun. I really liked Emerald. I'm looking forward to seeing how her relationships with her men develop.
I will say that Talon was sort of a challenge for me. I understand that he was this good guy trying to do the right thing, but it felt sort of immature in the way that he went about it. He just sort of rubbed me wrong. I hope that he matures as the story progresses.
Overall, I loved this story, and I cannot wait for book 2.

Of course Tamara did it again. I read this book from beginning to end in one sitting and it was extraordinary. The story is great, the characters seem so real. I read this book and it was like I was watching it as a movie in my head; you will laugh, scream, & even want to cry with the characters. I recommend this book to anyone who loves the genre and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would; Tamara you're an amazing writer and I look forward to reading what comes next.

I thought I have posted my review for this amazing book when I first read it, which was the day it came out! Tamara has done it again with another fantastically written book. All the characters are well-developed and feel like they are real people that you could meet in real life. Yes there is Fiction and Fantasy to the story but she makes it feel real and sucks you into her world that she's created. I highly enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

In this book we follow a female MC named Emerald, who is a werewolf and the alpha's daughter. But things are not always what they seem, when trouble comes her way she is forced to run from the pack, and search for answers about her past. So many emotions throughout her journey through this first book. Fabulous way to start a new series! I can't wait for book 2 Sliver Blood!

This book is an amazing read. Emerald is so perfect! She is just the right amount of sweet and sassy. I feel like there could have been a bit more action, but I still love how the story went. I look forward to Em finally getting some sexy time with her guys in the next book!!

So this was totally unbelievably amazing, in such a sneaky way! I was not expecting it to affect me this much!

False blood is a story based around Emerald, a wolf who has never quite been accepted, never quite been like everybody else, and never quite been welcomed in her family by anyone but her dad. She always put it down to being half human and learnt to survive.
Emerald has never been allowed to shift, but one unfortunate situation has led to her being on the run, trying to find two people she never even knew existed. On the run, she encounters some not so pleasant people and needs to call in a favour, the favour comes in the form of 3 very sexy Vampire men. As you can imagine, the fun only starts there.

Emerald, damn i love this character. She just cant catch a break but she doesnt let that stop her and i love her so much for that. She is full of spirit, knows when to pull back and when to get her back up. Her whole life she has had to hide a huge part of herself, and i love that she is finally starting to open up. I have to say, im deeply curious about what is so scary about her wolf that even her dad is scared of it; its so interesting! I also cannot wait to see how she develops this whole new side of herself.
Now for the lovely men of her group, lets start with Dev. Dev was so lovely a character, as soon as he realised what was going on with his relationship with Emerald, he went all in, no hesitations. I loved that about him, he just threw his carefree personality in and hoped for the best. It was a really nice thing to read, just the blatant acceptance of it.
As for Nik; i really liked him, but i feel like we didnt get to learn a lot about him. He was the one that took a bit of a backseat to it all, but once he made the decision, he too was all in. I cannot wait to learn more about him.
Now there is Talon, my god i wanted to punch and hug him with equal measure. I totally understand his reasoning, i even respect them, but that doesnt mean i liked them. But by the end of the book, he was my favourite. Everything about him was amazing.

The one character i will mention that isnt part of the immediate group is Britt. She was hilariously awesome and exactly what Em needed to get through all the crap in her life. I cannot wait to read more about Britt and her history.

Tamara, this book was freaking amazing!!! i flew through every single page and did not want it to end. I need the next one now please!!

This is a sweet, enjoyable book--nice, but nothing too intense or dramatic for a werewolf/vampire fantasy book. Things are a little bit unrealistic, and not in the fantasy sense because obviously this is a fantasy novel, but just in the way it felt like it was a little girls dream as it all played out perfectly. Even the hard things--oh this boy is attracted to me while he has a girlfriend who he hates but feels loyal to--are kind of problems that aren't real problems. Probably good for a much younger age group then I expected for reverse harem... although there are allusions to sex and mature things, nothing ever happens and the drama and all the relationships are very PG-13 level (I would even say PG level, except for one scene). I read the book and enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything that special. Maybe good for a plane or a trip!

Loved the premises of this book and loved having the main character, Emerald as a half breed fighting and trying to come to terms with both sides of herself. She starts a journey of self discovery and along away meet  three very sexy vampires which are her blood ties. It's a slow burn as they all don't get with her immediately. I liked getting to know them and learning about their differences and personalities. I also loved the chemistry that builds up between them all.

Emerald also gets to be reunited with her old friend, Britt. I love her character as she is eccentric and loyal. We get to see their relationship carry on from where they left off, bond over the fact they both have a harem of men.

We get to meet and know, Emeralds biological parents whom are both in a position of power. They are awesome and loving.

Overall I enjoyed it and can't wait for the next book.
 

False Blood is an interesting new series by White. This is a story about our MC who's a wolf/vamp hybrid - new breed. This makes life hard enough but then being thrown in to a vampires coven, meeting the folks for the first time and finding out you have three men you are bound too but don't all want you? Yeah there's that. An interesting read.

How does Ms. White keep doing it!? She's an amazingly intuitive and imaginative writer! I seriously doubt I'll ever get enough of her work. I never know what to expect when I begin one of her books, but I always know I'll end up loving her characters and her story ♡ I cannot wait until the second book releases!! Em is just so fun and feisty! Who wouldn't adore her? Her three vamps are literally a dream come true for Em and for the reader too!! Loved the chemistry, the dynamics of the relationships and this was one killer plot! More please ♡♡♡♡

I fell absolutely in love with this story. The way the story was told from start to finish was captivating and it truly left me hungry for more! I have been waiting very patiently for the next book to release but have heard nothing as to when a new book from any of her series will be available and it has been a very long time.. I would definitely recommend this book or any book by this author they all are amazing but be prepared for extreme frustration because you will be left hanging in the dark for the mext installment to any of the stories.. With absolutely no where to find out when you can expect another. I would of given 5 stars in a heartbeat if it wasnt for that reason.

I really don’t know how Tamara does it. Another great series in the works! From beginning to the end she always has me hooked with everything she writes and this series is no different !! I loved the character in this series!!! I really enjoyed the characters interaction with each other and the development between them. I loved Emerald and her guys sound so sexy! Each guy has a different personality from each other that is really entertaining seeing the relationships progress. My only complaint was that I would have enjoyed a little more "sexy time" between Emerald and the guys! Hehe The slow burn keeps you at the edge of your seat where you cannot wait to read the second book to see what happens!!:)
