An outstanding read from Maybe with two remarkable major characters in David Dixon and Laney. Mayne explores the space tech of the next decade in crafting a hybrid spy thriller/murder mystery in this sequel to Station Breaker. I eagerly anticipate the return of these characters!

An engaging and believable lead character, solid story line, realistic science. I especially liked the duct tape spacesuit bit. I sure hope David Dixon and his sense of humor show up in more adventures!

Rollicking good fun and excitement. David Dixon attracts luck (good and bad) wherever he goes. A McGuyver from space, he's likable, unsure of himself, but does what needs to be done. Wish Andrew would write more about David and the team that supports him.

I work on the space industry, and have been a science fiction fan for as long as I can remember. I have thoroughly enjoyed Andrew Mayne's novels for their realistic science and his sense of humor. The hero is not a Superman, but more of an everyday guy who i'd like to have a beer with.

The author has a very engaging writing style and comfortably incorporates dialogue into the narrative. His knowledge of technology and aerospace is significant. He explains the technology is a clear manner. The author doesn't drone on about each aspect.

While this book was not quite as much of an ‘edge of the seat, nail biter,’ it is still an incredible read jam packed with wonderful facts about the next frontier. It ends a bit abruptly, but it finishes off the story by tying it up with a lovely bow.

Great science fiction without getting too heavy on the science. The main character is a hilariously sarcastic and refreshingly self-deprecating hero. Read both books in a few days. Couldn't put them down. Highly recommend. Going to definitely read more (All?) of Andrew's books.

The story is great but the editing is non-existent. I found it very distracting. There were a few problems in the first book but literally hundreds in this one. With some editing i would have given it 5 stars
