Started out with an exciting find and posed a great problem!! Just kept going from one bone to another!
Love the history lessons, science lessons and all the information about Canada and Carolinas. When she
describes a character, you can see them !

Always enjoy Kathy Reichs books, find them hard to put down, have to find out what happens next. this one quite complex story, but then falls into place. I always wait for the next book for a great read.

I have been disappointed in the last few "Bones" books. They are heavy into Temperance Brennan's personal life and weak on interesting story lines. The books in the beginning like the TV series had so many interesting plots and characters and it seems like the author does not have her heart in the books anymore. I have seen this with many authors who write a series of books based on one character.

Temperance Brennan is a strong, smart woman whose main flaw was not being temperate with her drinking in the past, and she now has lapses every once in a while when the stresses of her job and personal life become too much. I like and can identify with this kind of character--strong in principles and self-discipline, but weak in certain other areas. A real human being with real human struggles.

I truly enjoyed listening to Spider Bones. The author explores misidentification of bodies and takes us on a journey to Canada, Hawaii, and the South while trying to solve the mystery. Complex, yet easy to follow.

Intriguing as alias, "Spider bones" is definitely worth a read. I've become quite a fan of Reich's characters, and they are a good alternative to Patricia Cornwells Scarpetta and her companions- books I simply must have when released. Spider bones is however not Brennan at her best:-)
