I enjoyed reading this book about Vanessa and Logan. Vanessa’s wedding plans reunite her with Logan, the man she had a short marriage with in their teens. When it becomes clear that they have a lot of unresolved feelings toward each other, they have to decide what path their futures should take. The author does a great job of showing the struggles involved in that decision.

THIS is what summer reading should be! Fun, fast, romantic trials! It had it all!!! We meet Vanessa as she is about to plan her destination wedding - only her fiance wants it at the same place she lived with her previous husband! Vanessa has to go back to the town where friends know her and plan out a new wedding when of course who would be at the same destination then her ex-husband. You can imagine the scenario! Never expecting to see each other is awkward and fiery at the same time. Are they really over each other? Are the able to make amends with the past? Crazy events keep pulling them together - seriously this was a FUN FUN FUN read!

*I received a copy for review purposes - as always all opinions are my own!

A very heartwarming sweet romance. I have read other books by Vogt an liked them all.
This one keep me up all night I could not put it down. I just had to find out if she was going to find true love after all she had been through.
This is some what of a flashback book and I don't tend to like those much but this one was interwoven in such a way that you can't help but love it.
I loved the ending it was such a great happy ever after. I hated seeing it end though.
I gave this book 4 stars and I recommend it.
I was given a copy of this book by the publisher for my honest review.

This wonderful story really pulled at my heart. The description of being a person who moved a lot as a child and couldn't develop relationships was right on target. Enough to bring out my own memories and make me cry. From her present day life and engagement to the flashbacks of her high school days and her marriage to her high school sweetheart. Then problems and divorce. Such an amazing story of love and loss and hurricanes and tornadoes and so much more. I highly recommend this book.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a story about first love, lost love, and forever love. Being that it's a destination wedding novel, I expected a pretty lighthearted story. It was actually much heavier than I anticipated! Vogt's characters are realistic, flawed, and people you want to root for. She layers in the character backgrounds really well. Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a mixture of romance and suspense, and it's very much women's fiction. Not to be missed!!

Beth Vogt has outdone herself with this book! It is definitely the most touching book I have read in some time! The main characters are wonderfully developed. Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a story of the impulsiveness of youth, regrets, forgiveness, love, respect and trust with tornadoes and a hurricane thrown in! You will want to keep a tissue handy for the last couple of chapters. I highly recommend this book!

This was a very enjoyable Summer read. It is the perfect book to take with you to the beach. When Vanessa goes to Destin Florida to plan her wedding because her fiancee wants to kill two birds with one stone so he can attend a conference where he can get education credits for work. She doesn't want to return there because that s where she meet her ex-husband. When she gets there she is throw together with him often even though there are both just visiting. If you want a light fun read then this is for you.

Add Beth K. Vogt’s Crazy Little Thing Called Love to this year’s Must Read list. This book gives More than Happily Ever. Vogt again presents believable characters in a beautiful setting facing heart-probing questions demanding answers. The consequences of earlier choices can be fixed if Logan and Vanessa are able to change when a series of crisis events gives opportunities. Readers receive much distilled wisdom as we see that wisely-built joy is more satisfying and longer lasting than happiness. This story and its characters definitely stay with us long after we turn the last page.

"Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Beth Vogt is the first book in the new "Destination Wedding" series, which is published by Howard books. The concept of this series is this: most romance genre novels spend the whole novel planning and hoping for the groom, then the wedding is just at the end, maybe even left to the epilogue. This series spends the majority of the book planning the wedding--the destination, the flowers, the bridesmaids--everything but the groom, who comes at the end of the novel.

Usually at this point in a review, I'll talk about the characters. Since that's a bit harder because of the plot and set-up of the whole series, I'll just go straight to my opinion.

I liked the first couple things this author put out, I really did. The last book by her was a little heavier, a little more thought provoking, and somewhat harder to read. This book has the light-and-airy, almost vague feel, as the cover suggests. From the start, that makes me "put less stock" in it, if you will. I didn't take it as seriously, although the plot was, in actuality, fairly serious. There were twists and turns that felt way out of whack, as if they were just stuck in to drum up the conflict amongst secondary characters, but I didn't feel that they were followed up on or well thought out. Also, because the plot focused on planning the wedding and not the actual relationship between the bride and the groom, the romance felt rushed and unrealistic, especially considering all the baggage that the couple had--and it was a lot. The characters weren't likable to me. They didn't even seem to like themselves! While that can seem attractive in some cases, (think tall, dark, and brooding Mr. Darcy) in this one it didn't pan out well (think young, immature, and unsure of oneself). I wouldn't read this one over, and may just wait out the rest of the series. I know this author has some great stories in her, as her first ones were fun, but this one just didn't work for me.

Thank you to Howard publishers and Net Galley for providing me with an electronic copy of this book to read and review. All opinions are my own; I was not required to write a positive review.

I thought Crazy Little Thing Called Love would be a light read based on the title, but wow—I was definitely wrong. I was thoroughly swept away in the romance of Logan and Vanessa. The way Vogt wove life's truth's into the story was amazing. Some of them I never saw coming. I enjoyed the addition of the past journal entries, so I could understand what brought them to their current story. Their struggles were things I could identify with which made it even more impactful to me. Vogt's writing gets better and better. Well done Vogt!

Completely captivating. A journey for the senses and the emotions. Beth Vogt has taken her readers on a journey through the complicated emotions of young love, growing up, hurricanes and adventure. The story of Vanessa and Logan is one that will grab you by the heart strings and take you along while both sort out the complicated feelings that come along with listening to God’s plan for your life and also His nudging on your heart. I scooped this book up and enjoyed it on a long lazy Saturday afternoon and if you’re looking for a great book to enjoy then this is one you should check out today.

This is a fresh, achingly romantic story with characters that are relatable and lovable. I read it straight through, absolutely captured by the romance and obstacles. These are two people who have very good reasons not to be together...but who you still want to find their way back. Love that Beth doesn't take the easy out, or go with pat answers, but tells a tale of hope and joy and second chances--not just getting them, but giving them. Of learning what it means to love without getting caught in regret. Of embracing passion even when it's scary.

Once again, Beth Vogt swept me away with her prose, lovable characters, and brutally honest storyline. Vogt doesn't shy away from the hard stuff, but that's what makes her stories so amazing. Check out this book if you like real-life romance, with all its messiness and twists. You won't be sorry!

Beth Vogt does it again!! Beth is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine with book after book of swoon-worthy-heroes, compelling plots, and books I just can’t put down. Beth has the gift of whisking the reader away to her world of characters that soon feel like friends. Combine that with a romance that sizzles and depth that pulls at the heartstrings – yes…just read it. You won’t be sorry!!! So glad I picked it up for my summer read!

Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a wonderful read. I did not want this story to end. I enjoyed Logan and Vanessa's history and how they still had chemistry after not seeing each other for many years.
Great book for learning to be forgiving and moving on from the past.
5 plus stars.
