Not a real book, but as explained before buying it a collection of blog posts.

I loved reading through Mr. Cuban's personal experiences and stories and there were some very good points. Just starting a business I could relate to the points made. The book is like you would expect from Mr. Cuban, down to the point and in plain English. Nothing too complicated.

My only point of improvement would be that is almost was too short. I wish there would have been some more experiences from Mr. Cuban and other business advise in the book.

I've admired Cubans business style for a long time. This book was a compilation of short stories and quick lessons I found interesting and helpful, and I got to learn a bit more about him in his own words. I would recommend it to anyone looking for quick tips on being successful in businesses.

I bought this book because I wanted to learn from someone I could relate to a bit. Mark Cuban graduated college, and didn't know what he was going to do to be happy at first! He tried different things, then once he found that thing he tried really hard to become an expert. He developed skills that became invaluable to his customers...and he now reaps the rewards today.

I love the book because Mark shares his path in a very direct, but simple, way. For $5 the value in my opinion is priceless. Thanks for sharing your story!

Different than what I had expected. Overall a good read, mark Cuban is awesome. Short, easy to read, and touches on some good principles. Great for those starting there search for business knowledge. Maybe not so much for those already well versed in that area.

Reading this was like listening to Mark Cuban talk directly to you. The direct statements and replies are so much his style; and the remarks are truly Cuban'isk. Some good business attitude applications and full of energy, this was an uplifting, humorous and insightful read.

I love this. I feel like Mark is talking directly to me. It was an easy and comfortable read that I've taken a lot of good information away from. I'm feeling as pumped up and motivated as ever! Highly recommend this, especially at the $3 price point for the kindle version.

Good book. It was smaller than I was expecting. It was a fast read. It was inspirational and gave a few good ideas. Towards the end he gave 12 laws of business. Then he gave 12 of his Mantras. I think I will take both of those and put them in a Word Doc and hang them on my wall.

This book is excellent. It is entertaining as well as inspirational. He found something that he loved to do, and was able to profit tremendously from it. I love to read about his journey to success. I imagine it must have been allot of fun mixed in with allot of work.

you can find very good advices in this book, but i woud like the author to extend more the content of what he says because sometimes I felt like he gave a very practical but short explanation, and it was fine but i wanted more detail.

The book was what I expected when I purchased it. Was looking for the color, the approach. See - it's not magic - it's doing the work! Missed many of the blogs, and yes, easier to read the edited versions.

Difficult to finish. It's like a compilation of blog posts. The writing is good and entertaining at times. But overall, didn't seem to move in a logical progression which makes it hard to know where the journey was going or if there was a clear point. The writing voice is very likable and I'll probably continue to pick this book up every now and then. It might be years before I get to the last page. At this time, I don't feel the book's style gives me any sense of urgency to complete it.

The collection of articles is the blunt tale of Mark's adventure.

Mark doesn't try to impress by saying what sounds right it celebratory, he is honest and writes what really makes every successful person successful.

Great read.

If you are looking for a comprehensive "this is how you make billions" this ain't it. If you are looking to get a nugget or two from a dude who has learned a thing or two about business, this is a worthwhile read. At $5 it is a hell of a lot less expensive than going to a semester long course in college about how to start a business- this book speaks to the mindset required for you to be a business success. I especially enjoy the emphasis on starting lean, without debt, and without necessarily having a boat load of capital. Mark Cuban is spot on with his logic.

Doesn't waste your time. The way business should be done. I believe him when he says "Everybody" can make it if you just put in the effort. Bringing back old-fashioned American work ethic. It's hip again!!!!

One word, drive. His drive is what makes him extraordinary. If he was not bought out by Yahoo he would still be incredibly successful. This book also demonstrates how ordinary he makes himself out to be, which is just a great portrayal of humility.

Thanks for this short and to the point book Mark.

In all seriousness, the advice and motivation I got from this ebook is easily worth 10x the list price on the store. The book took me about 3 hours to read in one sitting, and it was one of the best 3 hours I've had in a LONG time. Seriously-- it is that good.

Sure, almost all of the content can be found online scattered on his blog, but the $2.50 is worth it to have it all in one, beautifully flowing, ebook.

Honestly, I can already tell this going to be one of those books that I read many, many times again.

Recommend for people looking for those gems of knowledge and wisdom you can find in a read like this,
however, it's not an overall view of how he conducts his business affairs.

Inspiring and a must read for wanteprenuers.

Thanks Mark for writhing this. I appreciate it man. What an awesome book from an awesome dude. I learned so much about business, investing, managment, and hard work. I appreciate the wisdom and I can't wait for the next book. I only bought a Kindle because I couldn't find this book in hard copy. So really, I spent over 65$ or so for the book, but it was well worth it.

Extremely actionable guide to business and life. Excellent accounts of how Cuban started from nothing and built success. Highly motivating material for someone that doesn't know where to start or has little belief that they can make it.

Great book as far as giving you tips and information on how to succeed. It's short and compact, but it deilvers a punch. LOTS of golden nuggets and "Ah ha!" information that will help you identify your strenghts and weaknesses.

great analogy between business and sports. When Adults get too old for active sports or are noth athletically inclidned, I agree that they can and go use business to express their competitiveness. After reading this, I sent a copy to my son.
