Two people torn apart due to the machinations and cruelity of another leaves them both wounded for years. In a twist of possible regret that same person brings them together once again.

Antonio can't believe it when his father's will gives his mother's villa to the one woman he loves and despises at the same time. Not only does the villa go to her, but unless he marries he will lose his inheritance. Deciding to approach Claire and the will's stipulations as a business matter, Antonio arranges for Claire to be brought to him.

Claire cannot believe it when she sees Antonio for the first time in years. Still angry that he allowed his father to berate and humiliate her, she refuses to cave into his suggestion. Unfortunaley, she is also fighting herself and the attraction she still has for Antonio.

Marriage for one month and then they say good bye. What could be more simple than that? Fate has other plans for these two lovers.

Leslie North continues to create characters and storylines that you cannot help but to fall in love with.

Loved this story! If you like Billionaire stories, you'll like this one...if you like second chance stories, you'll like this story...if you like strong, independent women stories, you'll like this one...if you like strong, hot men stories, you'll like this story. In other words, this book has something for everyone and delivers on all levels!
The descriptions of Athens made me want to visit and find a Greek Billionaire of my own, LOL!
The ending is a little abrupt but has the twist that ramps your nerves and frustration levels up and then just as you reach the top, Leslie brings you safely down.
I loved the hero, Antonio and the heroine, Claire and the way they interact with each other and the other characters.
I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. Leslie has a great talent to bring along each book into the next book so Antonio and Claire's story may have been mainly in this first installment but this won't be the end of them, you'll read more of their story as you read about Antonio's sisters or one of Claire's friends.
Another great book and beginning installment of a wonderful new series. Keep them coming Leslie!

My favorite stories to read are ones where second chances are involved. The first time around outside influences manipulated the situation. This time Claire and Antonio have to decide if the same thing can save their relationship or destroy it permanently. Honestly, I have to say this is the first time I have read a story where the saboteur played a key role in the matchmaking. Leslie North is full of surprises. Adorable and fun read. Received an ARC for an honest review.

I thought the story was good. It flowed quickly and I didn't want to stop until I was done. The introduction of the characters and their situation was great. By introducing the characters she sets up for book 2 which is sometimes difficult to do with out giving everything away. It wasn't suspenseful but it took a quick turn at the end that was slightly unexpected. Quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to book 2!!

I read this book basically because I liked the cover, I read the blurb of course and it sounded good but there was something about the cover oh and most of the reviews were good.
Anyway since there's already loads of reviews I'll skip my usual summary and just give my thoughts.
This is a nice easy romantic read with nice characters, good looking female and a hot rich arrogant male, although I have to say this seemed a little rushed in places particularly at the end, I nearly got whiplash it turned around that quickly.
It finished at only 88% and personally I would have liked an epilogue but since this is a first in series I assume the story will continue on in the background of future books.

This story is absolutely great.
Two star crossed lovers who were destroyed by a mean spirited father. The father has passed away and decided to make amends sort of. Antonio wants his mothers Villa back seeing as his father left to Claire (ex girlfriend). The stipulations of the the will is that he marries by the time he turns 25, which is like in a month. Can he get Claire to be his bride and reclaim what is rightfully his families, and at the same time rekindle what they had?

I really liked this story! I thought she gave him a great run for his money in not giving in to him right off and to keep calling him out on his behavior which caused them problems to begin with. I was also pleased to see an alpha male who was still vulnerable and had his own insecurities with measuring up and feeling pressured. It shows we can all be hurt by those we trust. I look forward to finding out more about this family. I did receive a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Greek banking heir, Antonio Stathopoulos is shocked to learn that his father has left his mother’s beloved home, to a woman he never wanted to ever see again. Too bad that not only does he need to see her again he needs to marry her in order to get his full inheritance.

Claire Bennett never wanted to see Antonio Stathopoulos again, especially after his father called her all sorts of cruel names and didn’t want her to have anything to do with his son. So why would he leave a family home to her?

This story is a second chance at love where Antonio and Claire have to get beyond the hurt of the past in order to see if they really belong together.

Another great story by Leslie North.

Great book - looking forward to the whole series. Once again Leslie created strong characters. The story line is believable and you can feel yourself pulled into the story and feeling what the characters were feeling. Can someone make amends for a bad decision from the grave, Antonio's uncle is going to try when he brings Claire back into Antonio's life. Great story and great series.

A bit different to North's usual style of writing but it's all there. The love, the break-up and the heartache. Had a little problem to connect but I think that's because I didn't like Antonio very much. Easy read and great escape when you need some romance in your life. Worth reading.
