Sometimes we need to be reminded that the simple , pleasing things we encounter every day should be
acknowledged and allowed to make us happy! The author points those out and, along with calling them AWESOME, I laughed and totally got into enjoying the simple pleasures of every day life!!!!

The book was exactly as described, in great condition and it arrived quickly without any problems. I apologize for my delay in leaving a reply, but I hadn't noticed that I had overlooked it until now. I would most definitely work with this seller again. The pages were pristine, it was like it had never been used!

This book is simply amazing. It's universal and applicable to people in all stages and walks of life: a unifying look at everyday things that we can ALL appreciate. It's easy to read, hilarious, and -- at times -- very heartfelt and sincere. It has the potential to lift your mood and will instantly put you in a more positive frame of mind. It's the perfect book to have out on a table or stashed in your purse -- it's broken down by each awesome thing, so you can read a couple things here and there or sit down and read the whole book in one awesome sitting. This also makes a FANTASTIC gift; since it's not genre- or age-specific, it's something everyone will love. I very highly recommend this book for anyone.

I already have the first book and just really not the new one could surprise me, but I was wrong, the new book is even more awesome. There are so many things we take for granted every day, the book leads us to take a break once in a while and enjoy the small moments that make life so amazing.

The book is a must in any bookshelf or toilet room, buy it you will see what i mean...

My principal shared this book with us and after just browsing through it and hearing some of the snippets being read I knew I wanted bit for myself. What an excellent outlook on life when you need a pick me up.

The title says it all; this book is completely AWESOME!! Everyone can relate to something in this book. You find yourself saying, "wow that really is awesome when that happens!" I take time at the end of my day to read at least one of the entries. The writing is wonderful too; very humorous and light-hearted. This can definitely make your day :)

This book contains some great sound bites, and often I thought to myself "Damn! That is completely bang on!". Written in a completely approachable style, the author has compiled a comprehensive list of awesome things in life.

Having said that, for some reason, I couldn't sit and finish this entire book in one or two sittings. It was one that I referenced once in a while to have a quick chuckle, and then would put away for a while. A good toilet read maybe? :) So it was fun, but I'm not dying to get the second book. If I could do half stars, I'd say 3.5 stars.

The astounding thing about Neil Pasricha's writing is its universal appeal. His debut, "The Book of Awesome", strikes a perfect balance between family-friendly humour (not Disney or anything, but you shouldn't hesitate to buy this for a thirteen-year-old) and an esoteric wit that even gets me, a curmudgeonly jaded writer, chuckling and dabbing at my eyes. I intend to buy copies for my parents, close friends and a teenage cousin. Hopefully, "The Book of Awesome" will top non-fiction bestseller lists and win a Stephen Leacock Medal For Humour. It's THAT wonderful.

I flipped through this book and really enjoyed seeing some things that truly are awesome. The only downside? Its a little annoying seeing every entry end off with the word "Awesome!". Slight overkill.
