Highlander for the Holidays (Jove Book)

This edition of the "magic" in Maine makes one wish it were true. Janet Chapman reels you in with all the finesse of someone who fishes for Leviethen all the time. A quick read and one of her better interludes to this magical place.

I love how Janet Chapman introduces characters in previous books and then gives them their own stories. She also lets you catch up with old friends in each book. We finally get the story of the enigmatic Nicholas and what he is doing now that he doesn't have to babysit Carolina. Although all of Janet's Highlander/Spellbound Falls books connect to the remainder of the series, each can also be read alone.

Janet Chapman is one of the greatest love story writers. Her Spellbound series are terrific I love the stories, couldn't get enough of them. Surely we all need some Janet magic to relax and unwind. This series should be put to the big screen.

I have the whole series from the beginning and continue to reread them. it is so great to read about women who challenge the men in their lives who have come from different centuries. I already have the next one ordered . In fact I have all of her books that she has written.

I love Janet Chapman. She is funny and witty. Her characters are sarcastic and true to their base beliefs. They are uplifting and make you feel good after reading. I get tired of the oversexed novels that have to go farther to impress.

Janet Chapman's plots are always intriguing and page turning. The characters soon become friend's and her heroes unforgettable. I can't wait for the next Spellbound Falls book.
And, yes Janet, I do believe in magic!
