I liked this story about Luke and Lissette. The author had me all the way up until the granddad bit. Then I kind of lost my "5th" star for the book. I know that was a deal breaker for a lot of people. But it just seemed unreal to me. I mean I guess that's the whole point of the book. That love finds you no matter how unreal the obstacles are.

I absolutely loved this story. I laughed, cried and even got mad at some of the characters. I loved the length of the book and the way the characters were developed. I felt like I knew all of them. Great job keep it up.

Mrs. St Pierre outdid herself once again her style if writing grabs you and pulls you in. I received this book as ARC for an honest review. it's my pleasure to recommend this book and all of the others that she has written.Again for the first time is definitely the first I have read with a plot that hasn't been done before.. I love that this story is told from the m/f pov ,the storyline aside from being diffrent was great it had humor a little drama and moments that were really heartfelt and the there were the sexy moments that makes you blush (omg good) and just when you think you know what will happen next the surprise come in..the lead characters and their families are engaging and makes you want to find out more about them they were very easy to relate. In this story there were no millionaires to the rescue of a damsel I'm distress just to people who unexpectedly find love in and unconventional way.great work from this author

Excitedly got the ARC copy of this book and, once again, Ms. St. Pierre did not disappoint. Every book of hers that I have read so far pulls you into the story—it’s like it comes to life in your mind as if you’re watching it on a movie screen in your head. I love Lissy and Luke’s story—from their initial meeting through all the issues in between to their HEA. I DEFINITELY recommend this to book. Can hardly wait for the Matt and Brook’s story. Keep up the good work Ms. Pierre!

I truly enjoyed this book. All the characters were amazingly well developed. The main characters had some deep issues and surprisingly the way they handled them were well written. I couldn't put the book down.

I loved this book. Luke and Lissette were destined to be together despite their very unconventional way of meeting each other. I thought their "20 questions" way of getting to know each other and finally becoming intimate was really sexy.

The plot was interesting but the storyline was predictable. Still a worthwhile read. Thanks Raven! I love the cliffhanger. Yes. I will continue to read. I want to see what happens between Matt and Brooklyn.

Overall the book was good. Lengthy but good. Initially, I thought the premise was outlandish yet it's the trending aspect of the unrealistic becoming a reality these days that made it believable. And it became like blues clues for me early on when I realized how the title came to be.

Again for The First Time was a wonderful read. Raven St. Pierre is becoming one of my new go-to authors for a great read. In this story, Luke walks up to Lissette and says 'Marry me' and she accepts. Here's the catch. Luke's brother Matt was planning to do a documentary about a planned marriage and one that's slightly different. This is were Luke and Lissette come in. Lissette had just found out that her former boyfriend had just become newly engaged just six months after their split. So when Matt gets Luke to approach women for his little experiment, he is flabbergasted when they come upon Lissette and she says yes..Furthermore, Luke and Lissette have to marry in two weeks. What the couple soon discover after spending time together is that they actual have a Real connection.. They go through some ups and downs and lots of family drama on both sides, but in the end you will be amazed how this story turns out.. It is pure magic.

Like many people, I enjoy the romantic notion of unexpected couples finding true love against all the odds. Relationships are hard in real life, so we root for the rough places in our stories to be smoothed out. For me, adding a historic destiny just kind of is a bridge too far.
On a less substantive note, this is a book that contains one of my pet peeves: it needed a good copy editor.
