Although the first 2 books weren't that great they were still reasonably enjoyable. Omega however was just irritating especially the second part from Layla's POV. The first part of Layla held my attention but after Harris appeared Layla just got ridiculous and the dialogue was plain juvenile and silly. Initially Layla came across as a strong and resourceful woman. After Harris, she devolved into a tittering bimbo. You get the feeling the pages were just fillers. I don't like books where there are more than just the hero and heroine's POVs. I've seen this happen with the later installments of a series. It seems like the author had run out of things to say and to pad the book added details from secondary characters. This ploy ends up diluting the overall effectiveness of the story.

After anxiously waiting for Omega I cannot believe how disappointed I was. I don't give one stars except if something is unexpected rape fantasy so two is as low as I get. Why would you take a series that has been Roth and Kyrie and so intense I didn't sleep for reading it and make it loud mouth uninteresting Layla as the starring role. Even when we're in Kyrie's pov it's basically Layla (although later we're full on in Layla's pov which doesn't help). I don't want a new pov in book 3 unless every book has had a new one. Not happy with this.

Jasinda Wilder has an amazing ability to write the most sexy, intense scenes. There I am reading one of the most intense scenes and she makes me laugh. Then it turns sexy and the tension is palpable. Here is the hard part. There are two parts to this book. It’s almost like two novellas together. The hard part writing this review is not explaining it any further than that.

Part One: I loved the continuation of Valentine and Kyrie’s story. Those two are H.O.T. and fit so well together. I’m happy for the outcome of their story. The journey that they had to take to get there was heartbreaking and very intense.

Part Two: I have to admit that this one was my favorite part of the book. I loved the storyline and found it hilarious while still scaring the hell out of me. It was fast paced in its intensity. Action packed and hot enough to melt my Kindle. I loved these two and their story. It was totally unexpected and totally awesome! Great ending to this series.

I listened to the Audiobook of Omega and I absolutely loved Summer Roberts narrating this. Her ability to portray each character so well is a gift! She handled the girls especially well and she was a joy to listen to. If you have not read Alpha-book one, or Beta-book two, go back and start there. It is essential to understand how the characters are where they are in Omega.

Well, I have to say this book was much different than I expected it to be. Given the way the other books rolled out, I was expecting the same type of book-even amped up from those. I enjoyed Omega-loved it even, but I felt it didn't wholly fit the series.

Kyrie St. Clarie and Valentine Roth are in hiding from Roth's former mentor and mob boss, Vitaly. Vitaly is out for revenge after what was done to his family-even though it was started by his family. Anyone and everyone close to Kyrie or Roth is on Vitaly's target list. No one is safe.

Layla Campari is Kyrie's best friend and was whisked away by Nicholas Harris-head of security for Roth, from her life to be with Kyrie on their boat the Eliza, for her protection.

Even with security being extremely tight, Kyrie and Roth have settled into there extravagant lifestyle. Layla is starting to go stir crazy. She's used to being busy with school and multiple jobs-not just lay around sunning herself every day! Kyrie suggests she let off a little steam with Harris, but Layla plays it off. Harris is hard and unyielding. Dedicated to his job, he doesn't dilly-dally with clients so it's not even on the table!

Vitaly strikes and Layla is taking hostage. Harris and Roth try to figure out where Vitaly takes her-but she's virtually vanished. This is where we get to know Layla on a personal level. I have to say she's a hard-core but hilarious woman. She credits her abilities to growing up in Detroit and that s*** makes you real! I am in love with her! I was cracking up at some of her words and she is incredibly resourceful in a pinch! Even though her upbringing was just awful, she has a comical way about how she handles herself and life. The whole Bic pen scene had me laughing so hard!

Although it went in a much different direction that the other two in the series, Omega was well-written and a brilliant read. Tons of gun blazing action and of course over-the-top sex scenes! A couple went on rather long but they were scorching hot to read! I only have one negative, and that is the Vitaly ending. It seemed anti-climatic considering the story thus-far. I didn't know what to expect, but I wanted more for that.

Overall, the Alpha series is definitely worth your time to read! I am glad to see Harris is getting a spin-off series based on his Alpha One Security! That will offer us plenty of gun toting stories to get your blood pumping I am sure! Plus some much needed check-ins with the characters from the Alpha series that we have grown to love!

Omega by Jasinda Wilder was not what I expected but equally exciting and entertaining as I had hoped. In fact I was laughing an awful lot throughout the book which I was not expecting. Harris and Layla were a treat to read about. While this book did treat us to some of Roth and Kyrie, it was mainly about Harris and Layla. They are such a fun couple. They antagonize one another (Layla to Harris more) but they both have the best responses. The dialogue alone between the two of them witty and funny and I was always craving more of it.

As you can see from the summary these four are being sought after by an evil international crime lord or whatever you want to call him. They are trying to stay under his radar for awhile until they can plan their attack, but they are still found. A kidnapping happens. From there, we are on the ride trying to watch an escape, a rescue and a lot more. It is different than Beta in the overall feel of the book I think. While we still have a lot of threat, it is a different threat.

This series has a lot of sex in it. I mean a lot. Wilder must be some sex genius because the scenes are always different and never boring. I can't image writing one briefly detailed sex scene let alone as many that are in this series, but the way she writes them is phenomenal. You don't feel as though you are reading the same one over and over with different couples. Harris and Layla are a lot different than Roth and Kyrie so their intimate scenes are different. The two of them are completely wild, crazy, intense and passionate all at the same time.

The love story between Harris and Layla came out of left field for her so it was fun watching Layla go through those deep emotions for the first time in her life. And it was nice to see a different side of Harris.

The suspense and action scenes in Omega are pretty good. While they were not the main aspect of the story, as a lover of romantic suspense, I enjoyed them. The ending of the suspense plot of the book was a little anti-climatic to me, but again, it really isn't about that so much as it is about the -relationships among Roth, Kyrie, Harris and Layla so the ending was perfect. It also set up the spin-off series that centers around Harris' new company Alpha One Security. If you are looking for an extremely hot, sexy, intense erotic romance series, definitely give Alpha, Beta and Omega a read.

We all begged for it. Pleaded with Jasinda Wilder for that happy ending in our Alpha series and boy did she deliver. Though I will admit I was happy with how Beta left off, there was a certain amount of mystery that was left at the end of the story that almost allowed you to create your own happily ever after. That being said, I am thrilled she still decided to write Omega.

Omega can not be read as a standalone. If you haven't read Alpha and Beta, do not proceed! I repeat DO NOT PROCEED. Omega follows the magnetic and alpha filled Valentine Roth. And hot damn that man. HOT DAMN. I fell in love with him in Alpha and I've stayed in love with him. Omega also follows his vivacious and beautiful partner, the demure Kyrie (St. Clair) Roth.

While this series has mainly focused one Valentine and Kyrie, Omega is actually the romance story of two couples, one old and one new. Harris.. Yes, our main man gets a love interest and let me just say, some of his charm and sexiness almost puts our man Roth to shame. Harris is SMOKIN'. Him and his lady counterpart steal the show.

But what would a story be without a little mystery, deception and kidnapping. GASP! Vitaly strikes, and he strikes hard. Will Harris & Roth be enough to get our kidnapped party back. I will never tell.. You'll have to read for yourself to find out.

I am, though, happy to report that this story DOES have a happily ever after, for both our beautiful couples. Jasinda Wilder really delivered with this one. As much as I loved the other books, I think, this may be my favorite from the series. The writing flowed smoothly. The story line was intriguing. I felt like I got into the heads of the characters and I read the words on the pages.

Every good story has to have a beginning, middle and end and this one definitely had that.

4.5 STARS!

I really liked Alpha, wasn't crazy about Beta, but totally adored Omega!

Of course Omega continues the story from the first 2 books in the series. Mid way through the perspective shifts from Kyrie and Roth to Layla and Harris, which fit the story perfectly.

I much prefer this layout...mostly romance supplemented with action and suspense, rather than the mostly action of Beta. I will say that after reading this book, I get why Beta was written as it was.

I don't want to give away the plot, so you'll have to read it yourself. But I will say I will never look at a Bic pen the same way again!

I rate this book a solid 4.5 stars.

The title says it all. This is the perfect ending to his roller coaster ride.

Not only do we get some amazing stuff from Roth and Kyrie but there're is an amazing second storyline that will blow you away.

We really get to know Harris and Leyla and you will fall in love with them both. They are such strong and dynamic characters.

Jasinda perfectly blends dark, suspense, mystery, love and hot sex to make a book you won't want to put done. Click now and start reading.

Make sure to read Alpha and Beta first!!
