Teasing Annie (The Temptation Saga)

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book in the Temptation Saga and I loved it as much as the first book! This book has such great characters....I just loved Annie and Dallas and we get to catch up a little with Dusty and Zach from Tempting Dusty as well. Romance, heartbreak, sizzling chemistry, mystery, action and suspense makes this a great read. I was drawn into the story right from the start and enjoyed it from beginning to end. A hot, sexy cowboy and a tough, animal loving vet what's not to love!

There are few authors who are as versatile as Helen Hardt. She can write about modern day cowboys and turn around and write historical fiction to perfection. It isn't every author who attempts to do this, and I heartily applaud Helen Hardt's success.

Teasing Annie focus's on those modern day cowboys running McCray Landing, "...the largest and most profitable ranch in southeastern Colorado..." (Teasing Annie loc 149 of 2334). Annie DeSimone is the new vet who meets newly single Dallas McCray. The attraction is immediate and all consuming for both of them. There is an instant connection between the two.

There is a dark element in this book that is dealt with in a very straightforward and compassionate manner. Helen Hardt in fact, provides a disclaimer at the beginning of her book to warn of the possible trigger. There are many conflicts that keep Dallas and Annie apart, and the journey to see if they can conquer these challenges is certainly worth the resolution they reach at the end.

I recommend The Temptation Series to everyone who enjoys adult erotica, action, suspense, or Helen Hardt books in general.

I was gifted an ARC for an honest review. This second book in the Temptation Saga follows the oldest McCray, Dallas. I was anxious to read about him as I am usually drawn to the edgiest and darker bad boy alphas. Dallas is guarded, reserved, and mysterious. Rightly so, as he has just divorced someone who was out for only one thing, and it wasn’t love. He meets the new veterinarian, Annie DiSimone and is mesmerized by her. Annie and Dallas have instant chemistry that will make you sweat and swoon. Both have exes to deal with and secrets they want to keep. Will starting over be worth the risk of opening their hearts to love again? Can Annie learn to trust after everything she has been through? Will either of them survive when Annie’s past comes threatens their very lives? A strong read that will tough to put down!

This is the second book in the Temptation Saga. Seeing how happy Zach and Dusty are now that they have found each other has made Dallas, Zach's older brother, realize just how unhappy he was in his marriage. He decides to divorce Chelsea and resolves to find a woman more like his brother's new wife to spend his life with. He doesn't expect to find just what he's been looking for all along in the form of a fiery New Jersey veterinarian.

Annie is new to town and is escaping her own demons from back east. She is determined to focus on her work and take care of herself. She never planned on meeting a tall, handsome cowboy named Dallas and she certainly never planned on falling for him.

Will Dallas and Annie be able to move on from their pasts to have a future together?

Helen does an awesome job with creating each characters and storyline. This is the second book in this series. You will be drawn into the book from the first page. I love reading Helen Hardts' books. I fell in love with Dallas and Annie. Helen does an awesome job with creating each characters and storyline. This is the second book in this series. You will be drawn into the book from the first page. This can be read as an standalone but I suggest that you read these in order to maximum each characters. I read this book through the local library. I liked it a lot. The characters were well written and the book had a beginning and an ending no cliffhangers. Would still want to know *spoiler alert* what outcome Chelsea expected from poisoning Dallas' cattle and telling Annie's ex how to find her? She should have been prosecuted by the law, she caused a lot of damage and for what??
This temptation series has by far been so much better than the the Steele Brothers series. In fact I have had trouble putting the book down.

This is the second book in the Temptation Saga. So far, I absolutely love this family and all of the brothers. This is about Dallas the oldest McCray brother and Annie, the veterinarian that moved into town. It's clear they have an attraction, but both have come out of bad relationships. Helen keeps your attention with the hot, romantic scenes, but also seems to add a twist that you don't see coming.

I have to read the rest of this series!

This is the second book in the Tempting series. This is the story is about Dallas which is Zach's older brother. He meets the new veterinarian in town Annie. They have an instant attraction to each other. They both just came out of really bad relationships. They have to deal with their past in order to move on to the future. This is an awesome romance with a little twist in the end. I can not wait to read more about this family.

This book was awesome. As always Helen Hardt has done it again. I had a difficult time putting this book down. It transforms me into the characters world and makes it hard for me to leave even when the book is over. Loved this one and can’t wait to read the next in the series.

Bought this because it was primarily set in Colorado. I was pleasantly surprised. This author is amazing, her writing is amazing, it's very professionally done. Definitely looking up more of her work.
