I have so enjoyed another novel in the low country with the Muir family! We now have a new minister, Atticus entering the story. As always, the grandmothers are a treasure! This is a great beach read! I hope to read more!

Wonderful way to end her beautiful trilogy!
Love Mary Alice Monroe's prose! She draws you in with her wonderful characters and they end up feeling like family by the end of the book! Most of her books I wish could go on forever!

Terrific character development and the setting of Charleston and Sullivan's Island can't be beat. I loved everything about this book and didn't want the series to end. Give us more, Mary Alice Monroe!

A "beach book" that doesn't disappoint by turning syrup-y, shallow, or just plain stupid! Yes, the plot lines are pretty predictable; however, you want to keep on reading happily, because the deeply-drawn characters, their quirky personalities, and their engaging (and often lol) dialogue trump any negatives. Thoroughly enjoyable!

I absolutely loved this book! Mary Alice Monroe has once again written a story with beloved characters who feel like family. The Muir family, especially Marietta, are strong women who are still finding their way throughout life. It is so easy to identify with character situations and emotions, as at some point in our life, most of us have those same life experiences. I truly have enjoyed all of her Lowcountry Summer novels.

This book, once again epitomizes all the elements of what it's like to live in such a place. The characters are strong with Southern traditions and the storyline flows. I hope there is a 5th book as I believe there could be so much more of the Muir families adventures.

This is a great story. It ties the previous Lowcountry Summer books (all3) in a clear and thoughtful ending. Mary Alice Monroe is a great author. She tells a wonderful story and adds a touch of information on the wildlife. I have enjoyed every book by Mary Alice Monroe. If you have read the prior 3 books in this series, you will not be disappointed with this book. A perfect summer/beach book.

Loved, loved, loved this book. It was the perfect ending to a fubulous series. Mary Alice Monroe is a master at capturing the essence of low country living in SC. Her vivid descriptions truly make you feel as if you are in the middle of Sea Breeze watching the story unfold.

I really enjoyed reading about this family. It's a fun saga of family. Though sometimes predictable, I think that echoes life . When you're watching from a safe distance it's easy to see where others should go.

I enjoy stories about family and friendships. I read the other three books in this series and anxiously awaited this one. It did not disappoint! Getting reacquainted with the sisters and Mamaw was was a wonderful experience. And the added surprise was totally unexpected! If you haven't read the first three books, be sure to do so. You will like living in the Lowcountry for a while!

Absolutely loved the book, following the Read of Mary Alice Monroe's "Summers End"..... HER books somehow "speak to me".... being a North Carolina native & have spent many times on the beaches as such.... nowhere near the extravaganza in my life but lovely to imagine!!! I'm looking forward to the two new books I've just purchased.... life is REAL and the messages that she places in her books are also!!!!

I loved this series from Mary Alice Monroe. I especially liked book #4 because it wrapped all the story lines up with a nice little bow. I despise books that keep me hanging over one detail or another!
