My kid loves the illustrations. She makes me read it again and again and I finally memorize the whole book. So, when we need to brush teeth I just recite the words and she would stop fighting and starts brushing.

We sing this song every time we brush my daughter's teeth now. She is 13 months. She loves it! As soon as I sing the first few words, she gets a HUGE smile on her face! Teeth brushing used to be just another chore, and now it's fun!

My toddler and I read this book almost everynight. Sang to the tune, "do your ears hang low," it's a quick and catchy book. I sing it without the book while we brush our teeth when he starts to lose interest.
Though, I wish it was another verse longer. My child isn't one for long pages, so this is nice, but i think another verse could have benefitted this book. Honestly, I think it's because it leaves off at in the middle of the song. The tune to which you read it ends at, Do your ears hang low? (Are your teeth bright and white) But this continues one more line! It drives me nuts.

Our daughter has a huge book collection for 15 months...this book is not one of our favorites, while it is supposed to go along with a tune..the last page doesn't match up with the song. :( No matter how many times I sing it, it sounds out of place....that is irritating. Overall, the book is cute, the pictures are nice, and communicates a good message.

I read reviews and someone mentioned this book helped their toddler be more willing to brush their teeth. Of course I was completely skeptical, but it actually does. The song is catchy too--read the words to the tune of "if your ears hang low". My daughter (18mos) loves the book and when I sing the song she mimics brushing her teeth. It works about 60% of the time, which is more than the made up brush brush brush your teeth song. She also dances when I sing the song.

I bought this book based on other reviewers' ratings which stated that it helped their child learn to brush their teeth. My 2 year old hates to brush her teeth and it's a struggle every day. My daughter only showed mild interest in this book and it did not encourage her to brush at all.

Great book! My daughter went through a little spell where she didn't like brushing her teeth. I ordered this book, and that changed. I would read it to her before brushing her teeth, and then she loved brushing her teeth. Great illustrations, short, and sweet book.
