Feudal fantasies. Rich with magic and magicians are common enough. To find well crafted science fiction lurking within is very rare. Terry Mancour has created a fine fantasy series built on the bones of a clever sci -fi subplot. Savor it.

Terrific addition to a amazing series, Terry's ability at world building and character development is very special.
He is in the Raymond E Feist class of story teller.
Will go close to winning a Hugo soon.

The story continues on with a branch into the Kasari society. A LOT of development of background information. Author seems to be dragging this book (or future books) out as long as possible. I am beginning to tire. Hopefully things turn up a little

We have heard all in the Spellmonger Series and we are looking forward to the rest when/if they put in Audible. This was one of the first series we started. We were spoiled by the narration, it was great. Others haven't compared yet.
