The 10th book in Mancour's Spellmonger series -- what an amazing achievement! There are few writers who have succeeded in this scope of worldbuilding and storytelling, without getting repetitive, stale and soap-opera-ish. Minalan the Spellmonger's story of growth, change, and acceptance of responsibility has been a great journey for the reader. There are wars and blood, loss and death along the way, but the emphasis on how characters try to minimize those things by using intelligent cooperation and planning, with the end goal of creating a healthy world community is refreshing in fantasy storytelling.

Begin with Spellmonger and read straight through to Necromancer . . . that should provide a good chunk of summer reading!

The world created by Mr. Mancour is so refreshingly real! It is so easy to lose yourself in the story! Magelord Min is amazing as much for his faults as he is for is amazing talent and his big heart! Please keep the books coming! I read that you are just 1/3 the way through the story and that you would like to one day see your world created in the spellmongers series come to life as they have with GoT. I would love to see that as well but I question if there is anyone in Hollywood that can do these books justice. I love the series GoT but even just bringing to life the unfinished series they have gone away from the original story in the books. I would hate to see that happen with this story! As I'm sure your aware what Hollywood did to Terry Brook's series was sad. Anyways I love your stories and I I hope to see them still coming! Lol quickly although this book was worth the wait!!!

This has become my favorite series. I have already reread the first six. From the author's notes at the end of this book it will be hard to wait until 2019 for the next. I cannot even begin to describe how good this series is to read. Just start at the first book and plan to have a lot of time. As to this book, #10 it is as good as any of the others. Initially I thought as I started to read it that the story was getting long in the tooth but the author surprised me and dragged me back in wanting more.

Truly loved the story and characters. Unfortunately, this series contains, by far, the most poorly edited books I've ever read. It is repleat with misplaced words and continuity error. I've personally counted in excess of 100 basic typos in some of the books. Hats off to the actor who had to put up with that for the audio version. I hope he got paid double. I also hope you don't pay for this book until they get around to a properly edited edition.

I have been waiting for this one patiently and it didn't disappoint. I feel like I just read three books in one. Everyone will absolutely enjoy the book with its political shakeups, dragons, battle and magic.

I just finished reading number 10 in Terry Mancour’s refreshing Spellmonger series. I say refreshing as you can watch the author and content grow in imagination and story craftsmanship throughout. It’s also apparent in that the author has not capitulated to the SJW mafia and avoids the gender challenged and gender confused gratuitous characters that seem to dominate so much writing in today’s literary attempts. It’s also evident that the author does not base all his storyline on video games and the ubiquitous Star Wars and Star Trek universes. He has an honest to goodness imagination of his own and turns this creativity into a real entertaining story.
Good for him!
I look forward to reading more of his books.

Great book. With every book the writing gets better and better. Mancour has first class world building skills it's amazing watching his world unfold. The plot was fast paced, some great battle scenes, and tons of world building. I have to knock a star because it really has poor proof reading. I really hope some day he can afford a good copy editor to help with the problems. It's not just spelling and grammar it's major plot points. For example starting in book five he jumps a year starts referring to the third magic fair as fourth, the kids are all a year older then they should be and several other examples. It was annoying and took away from the story, but I adapted. Then in this book he went back to the right timeline and it was just to much to handle. Hopefully, he gets it right in these drafts for the print books and I will get over, but anyone reading needs to be prepared for major errors to accompany the awesome world building.

This one seems to be the longest in the Spellmonger series, which is fine with me. It was an excellent read and advanced the storyline in a couple of surprising directions. I’m looking forward to the next stage in this series. I just wish it wasn’t going to be so far in the future, based on the authors notes in the back. At least he didn’t drop a cliff-hanger at the end, but a pretty satisfying one for his long time fans.

Terry continues to expand his masterful works with this final book in his 1st Decalogy. It brings the series to a close with answers to many intriguing questions from the first nine installments and leaves you with a longing for the upcoming books. Terry Mancour is one of my favorite authors and this book definitely does not disappoint. I have read this entire series on Kindle Unlimited but they are too good that I purchased them so I can read them at any time without the need to return them to read another. Now I will reread this book and all of the others to bide my time for his future books in this series which brings a high level of excitement. Kudos to Mr. Mancour for creating a fantastic world that will keep you yearning for more.

This feels like two novels , not just one . I enjoyed this epic quite a bit . It is daunting that he has twenty more novels planned in this series . I am very pleased that the quality has remained high . I wish George R. R. Martin were this productive , but good writing is magic . Only a wizard can judge a wizard . READ ON KINDLE UNLIMITED

Wow! If you love twists and turns, excitement around every. corner, and realistic fantasy characters, (I know, oxymoron much?), you will absolutely love this series! Terrry Mancour is one of my very favorite authors. It takes a while for him to write, but the wait is well worth it. This is book 10 and now, I finally see where he's heading. There will be 30 books, in all, and the next 10, will be a huge surprise! If you haven't started this series, now is a great time to start!

Disappointed that this was not the ending of the spellmonger. I had a hard time getting into the story; it was a chore to read it. Now spaceships, forsakens? Sound dystopian/punk... whatever. Not my cup of tea. 10 books and no end in sight, I am done with this series.

This is tied for most engrossing and compelling fantasy story I have ever read. The other candidate being Sandersons’ book shelf bending series, The Stormlight Archive. If you have made it this far I guess the only question is, is book ten as good as the first nine? The answer is an unequivocal yes and more the better still. I can’t wait for the next book.

I started this series as a recommendation from a friend. I was extremely frustrated for the first few books. The author seemed to put out the next book without rereading what was already written into the story which would lead to some contradictions and a lot of those "(if you're keeping track)" comments.

Since then the series and the writing has improved immensely. The story that has been created is now one of my favorites and the development of the storyline and characters has been a pleasure to read.

I just keep goobling these up. Why? Because unlike many series these days, they dont make you want to slit your wrists when you read them. They're fun, entertaining, and make you happy while reading them. I enjoy the subject matter and while it's similar to other works it's sufficiently different to maintain full independence. Yes, there are typos, misplaced words, incomplete sentences, and even one section of copy-and-paste surgery that went awry. Still a good read.

Great Read, Terry finally started to tie up some story lines that he had been foreshadowing since the first book. Looking forward to the next set of 10 books though I hate to hear the next one wont be out till 2019.

One of the things attracting me to writers is their ability to pull me in with their story. Terry Mancour has done just that... completely! I've read the entire Spellmonger series and can't wait for the next installment. The characters are well developed with all their attributes and flaws and I find myself moving through the story right along with them. I'm giving 4 stars because of the spelling errors and hanging sentences. That being said, great job, great series!!

This work was amazing blend sy fy and fantasy. We take on dragons, dark towers of evil, necromancy, and petty princes. How can one man contain and manage all these issues. The only Spellmonger favored by the gods and date can juggle this workload. This was an amazing read .

This book is worth reading, it is the most inthralling book series I’ve had the pleasure of reading, I love how how Terry applies science and magic in a way that I have never seen before, I would recommend this book to anyone who loves the small details and inthralling characters which is why I gave it a five star rating which is no small thing I’m incredibly stingy with my ratings and for me to give a five star rating is a Miracle so if your a fan of humble beginnings to great hero’s with magic a skill and great wisdom all fighting an all consuming evil then this is the book your looking for.

These books are mesmerizing and I’ve loved everyone of them. I’m excited to see where the Spellmonger goes next. Unfortunately now I was to wait. This series has been better than binging on anything on Netflix, so if your bored. Look no further.

My Son recommended this to me and when he suggested that I would like it as much as Salvatore, I didn't know what to think. Now, when he recommends something I don't question it. Thanks for bringing Alya back, mostly back. Didn't see Anguin and Rardine coming. I didn't see Kitten re-aquiring southern Alshar to marry Rondal until it almost happened.
So, all the time we read to m' boy, before and after his birth has been worth it.
Let me recommend this series at my highest level.

An exceptional book to add to the series! Necromancer keeps the "soul" of Minalan's story moving forward without losing what made us love it to begin with.... which is no small feat! I am so glad Kindle introduced me to "The Spellmonger", and I am excited to see where Terry and Callidore takes him.

In my opinion the most important part of any book is the story. Necromancer does not disappoint. The characters are well developed and interesting. I have enjoyed this series from the beginning and am looking forward to more books.

Outstanding work. The depth was great, everything is building up beautifully and at a masterful pace! I never have to worry about "blinking" as a reader and the book is finished. I could tell this series was just getting heated up, even after 10 installments! Thank you for a great, exciting, lasting series! Cannot wait for more. I never write reviews either. Here is to waiting for 2019, happily. Spellmonger!

An amazing finale to the decology, and such incredible length in it's entirety, Min would crack a joke about it's lack of girth! Truly looking forward to the next two decology as they pour forth from this impressive author.

Wonderful growth in author's writing helps me personally. Not only entertaining but up lifting for me to see growth in story, characters, as well as author himself. Much envy. Inspiring. Makes me want to get my rear in gear. Thank you, Terry.
