So unique, fresh, heartbreaking, beautiful. Pepper Winters never disappoints.....her stories and this one especially always touch my heart and my soul. I'm not revealing anything about the storyline because you need to go on this whole journey and feel all the emotion as the tale unfolds!

Just finished this book and I am deeply touched by it. Galloway and Estelle forge a life under the most terrifying circumstances. They become and family with added members and learn to survive and thrive. There was a time in this book when I thought I could not read on, but thankfully I dug down and braved the heart ache. Pepper Winters told a story that is unlike any I have read. Can't wait to read more of her books.

I love Pepper Winters. I gobble up her books like crazy. This book didn't do it for me. The lengthy prose was boring. I found myself skimming a lot. The story was good, I felt for the characters and found myself tear up more then once but I honestly feel like it could've been half the length it is. The characters were also mean to each other, and not in the sexy way they sometimes are in Ms. Winters books. It was also a little fantastical, but what romance isn't I suppose.

No one writes a story like Pepper Winters. They reach deep into your soul and take you for an adventure that you won't forget. This story is no different.
A story full of messages if you listen. Loss, sadness, survival, hope and love.

If you're considering this book I strongly encourage you to read it! I wasn't sure about the plot, but am so glad I took a leap and went for it. This book has so much heart, the characters are well developed and truly seem real to me. The love story is epic. I could not stop crying at certain points in this book and am now so sad that the book is over. This book has suspense, drama, survival, love and soul. I can't imagine anyone not being swept up in the world the author created.

I recently finished this book and it was beautiful. Pepper Winters delivers a take mixed with fact and fiction that pulls you in. It was truly inspiring and heartwrenching at the same time. I highly recommend.

I wanted to like this book after reading reviews but it just didn't do it for me. The story dragged on and on while the H/h spent all their time contemplating their relationship. I'm screaming to myself, you have no food or water get a grip. I think my problem was with our hero who kept having pity parties in his head.

Wow! I was emotionally involved with this book.. laughing, crying, holding my breath. This author grabs a hold of you and doesn't let go until the end. Great, great story line and thankfully, I was able to gain closure at the end of the book. Love this author and will look for more stories.

A different sort of Romance from winters. There was joy and pain. I felt utterly confused with the heroine at first. It took me awhile to really like her character. I always liked Galloway and found his back story heartbreaking. Overall a great read filled with action and loss.

Flawless writing to me, as always from Pepper Winters. Complicated, wonderful, addictive characters. I felt everything with these characters. The power of pain. The power of love. Can't get enough of Pepper Winters!

The story was beautifly written with so much emotion.I laughed, I cried, and felt everything in between.pepper winters you are truly talented. The only thing I wish is that you would tell conners side how he felt and his final thoughts, pippas side her thoughts and how she lived after and coconut what she felt and how she grew up and of course finnick too. I just loved the charecters and feel like there storys are missing. Thank you so much for the chance to read this beautiful story.

Wow! Unbelievably wonderful , frustrating, sad, happy, angry, unpredictable read. Soon as I thought the book was coming to an end and they would be found or escape I'd turn the page and another month has passed . I have never felt so many different emotions in one book let alone one chapter. I stayed on the edge of my seat reading this AMAZING BOOK. Tears were shed and laughter was heard because of this great author. Thank you for a wonderful read and taking my mind to a place that felt real.

I loved everything about this book. It took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions that had me reliving the loss of my loved ones while being grateful to have known them. These characters made me love them, hurt for them and share in their joy. I felt a hole in my chest for the loss of Conner, but my heart stopped and only started beating once I knew Galloway survived. I would recommend this journey to everyone with a heart.

Wow. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Well developed characters experienced the gambit of life: Tragedy, sorrow, recovery, happiness, love, loss, rediscovery, and so much more. This longish book is well worth the time.

Pepper Winters has become one of my favorite authors. She's a brilliant storyteller. This novel is everything you want in a well written story, it's sad, heartbreaking, beautiful, sweet and so much more. It's so good. Get it, you'll love it

This was quite different from Pepper' s other books but not in a good way. It was 90 percent telling and only 10 percent showing. And it dragged on and on. I kept skimming trying to find a good part. Very disappointed.

Unseen Messages is about survival, love and heartache. Pepper Winters has such a way with words, she's sucks you in by the end of the first chapter. This book will have you second guessing everything. First we meet Estelle, a singer/songwriter on her way home, just wants to be alone and recharge. Through the airport she meets one obstacle after another. Is the universe trying to tell her something? Maybe catch another flight? Galloway Oaks, a man with a past just trying to make up for his mistakes. You can almost feel the weight of his guilt on your shoulders. After a nerve wrecking flight, decisions are made and Galloway, Estelle and a family of four decide to make the rest of their trip by helicopter. A decision that will forever change their lives. Crash landing on a remote Island, they will have to pull together and fight for survival. Find water, food and build shelter. And remain strong for two children that have lost everything. The chemistry between Estelle and Galloway is off the charts hot. This story had me feeling so many emotions. Strength, love, sympathy and angst. As I read, I cried, I yelled and my heart broke. Pepper Winters is amazing, her words just flowed and I could not put this book down.

This book keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. Love all the characters and their roles. I love a book that takes you to the end rather it is a happy ending or not and Pepper Winters does that with this book.

It was pretty terrible.
You can only suspend belief so far, and some of the things the characters were doing just made me roll my eyes.
Some of the injuries sustained in the beginning were awful. ..but no problem for these characters!
Their behaviour infuriated me throughout. ...they are the only people on the island for a few years but don't actually talk to each other? Yeah right.
They make some increasingly mind boggling decisions that towards the end I just laughed.
It's a book I'll probably remember, but not for the right reasons.

I wanted to share with you my experience of reading this epic book that I spent the weekend binge reading. I know I won’t do the author or the book justice, but I hope you’ll read Unseen Messages and enjoy it as much as I did. It’s a book I’ll never forget as the writing and characters etched their way into my heart.
Within minutes of finishing, I ordered the paperback that I can’t wait to put on my book shelves. Can we start with the cover? It’s as beautiful as the book itself. If ever there were a cover to make you want to read a book it’s this one. It’s breathtaking. I love everything about it. The same can be said for Estelle and Galloway’s story.
… the island had become a friend, too. A living entity that provided for us, sheltered us, and ultimately kept us trapped. It was a prison and salvation all at once.
The cover drew me in, but it was the blurb about survival romance that insisted that I read this story. I knew I needed to give my full attention to this book so I waited until the weekend when I could sequester myself away from distractions, and I’m glad I did. Once I started, I could not stop. I don’t think I’ve read a book that long faster than I did this one. It flowed effortlessly from page one to the very last page. It’s been a long time since I became so attached to the characters of a book. Even now as I write this review, I don’t want to let them go. As I think back to events that took place, I’m still smiling and tearing up at this unique, epic love story that spans years.
LIFE OFFERS EVERYONE messages. Either unnoticeable or obvious, it’s up to us to pay attention. I didn’t pay attention. Instinct tried to take notice; the world tried to prevent my downfall. I didn’t listen. I’ll forever wonder what would’ve happened if I had paid attention to those messages. Would I have survived? Would I have fallen in love? Would I have been happy?
Not only is this a love story but it’s a story about second chances, redemption, survival, growth, desperate need for one another but above all it was about living. The story starts off as Estelle arrives at the airport and receives multiple warnings that she should not board the plane. She didn’t listen, and instead, her life changed. Everything was taken away, and three unknown people became her world.
Once within a song, a music lover and a broken man fell from the sky. It changed their lives forever.
My heart galloped in my chest as I read their final flight knowing it would be their last. Goosebumps erupted on my skin as I read their fear. Never before had I had such an experience from reading a book. This book is perfect from page one with the amazing connections formed between the survivors, right down to the epilogue.
This is my first book by the wonderful author Pepper Winters, but she has made me a fan. I lived, breathed, and anguished over their journey. I cannot recommend this story enough and there is so much I want to tell you, but I want you to experience this for yourself.

This story grabbed my attention from the first page and I held on until the very end. It's a long book so relax and be prepared to spend some time kicked back reading about these characters and the island they love/hate.
Estelle lost her family and enjoys being by herself. Recently swept up into unexpected stardom, she's looking forward to some alone time with peace and quiet at her home. Galloway did something that he can't forgive himself for. He's on his way to work helping others build in an effort to find redemption for his sin. Estelle and Galloway share a heated look at the airport but neither approach the other. When a terrible storm knocks them off schedule, they're desperate to get to their locations. When another family shares the same concern, together they hire a helicopter pilot to take them to their location. Sadly, not only do they not make it, but not everyone survives the crash. They awaken injured, scared and lost on an island with nothing but what they can salvage from the helicopter.
I adored Galloway. He wanted so badly to prove he was worthy and I loved how he opened up the closer they grew and the longer they were together. The kids had my heart. One especially wrapped me around his finger and touched me in a way I would be honored to have him as my own child. While I liked Estelle, I lost patience a couple of times with her mixed signals to Galloway. She was scared - I got that. But finally once she opened up to Galloway and followed her heart, she changed for the better. They were true soul mates in every sense of the word.
It was amazing to watch as these survivors learned and lived on this island. I cannot comprehend how that would feel in real life and the emotions you would go through. This was an amazing story and I'm glad PW took us on this journey. Bring your tissues.
