I love the dark and twisted stories from Pepper Winters. This book was able to keep my attention starting with the first page and lasted to the last. There is notable growth for all of the characters included. This book has left me craving more. I can't wait for the next installment.

I have been reading Pepper Winters for a while now. I've fallen in love with every character and book she has written. I read them several times over. She's an amazing writer. She brings life and character in every chapter in every book. The love, loss, suspense, destruction and even death, she captures every moment. I've cried, laughed been turned on and also appalled at some the things I've read but I've never been so intrigued and so desperate to read and finish a book in my life. I look forward to reading more and more of her books. Dollar series is just another one I've fallen for. It's a must read!!! Like now!!! I can't wait for the next book!!! Thank you Pepper Winters!!!

Before you read this book make sure you read Pennies. Dollars is a great continuation to a story that is dark and interesting. If you want to be keep in the dark with some light sprinkled in this is the series for you.
Throne of Truth (Truth and Lies Duet Book 2) :: Can't Touch This :: Fourth Debt (Indebted Book 5) :: Indebted Epilogue :: Millions (Dollars) (Volume 5)

This book is absolute, beautiful, madness!

The story. The prose. Everything.

I have goosebumps from the ending and I'm 100% willing to give an organ in return for Hundreds.

Pepper is queen. I die.

The dynamic between Elder and Pim is amazing! I love how they can have a conversation without a word being spoken at times, and Pim finally speaks to Elder but you will have to read it to find out what she says!

I read the reviews about the books are dark, even the author warned the readers. That made be hesitant to buy but I did anyway. I am so glad I did. The story is dark but I cannot stop reading. I been in some of those dark places and was intrigued by it. I want to know what happens. Correction, I need to know. Please read this and let us all take a walk on the dark side.

This book went on and on. Entirely too drawn out. I won't wait for the third. I guess I'm the minority on this one. It went around and around, telling the reader snippets not worthy of keeping you on the edge of your seat. very disappointed Pepper.

I generally like Pepper Winters, but I was disappointed with this book.

There wasn't any forward movement here, no character development. To make matters worse, Elder and Pim's relationship wasn't particularly believable to me. For someone with Pim's history of abuse, her responses to Elder were odd . Why the attraction when every interaction they had should have triggered her? I also thought Pim's recovery from abuse, while very slow (which would have been okay...) lacked substance. I would have expected flashbacks from triggers other than music. I would have thought she would have looked for more rigid boundaries, even if she then rebelled against them. Elder's callous handling of her, his anger with her, turned me off. I understand it's a dark romance, but for the "romance" to work, I thought that more gentleness was required.

Both this and Pennies could have benefitted from a stronger editor. The phraseology, particularly in dialogue, is awkward at times. There were also typos and some homonym confusion (flea vs. flee). Maybe a stronger editor would have moved the plot along as well.

I finished Dollars, but I won't be reading any more in the series.

I chose this book because of the author. However in choosing the first book it was advertised as a 5 book series which I mistakenly thought was completed. Only after completing the first book, did I realize that only book 2 of the series was complete and I would need to wait I till 2017 for books 3,4 and 5.

I don't understand how the author can define how many books it will take to complete the series unless this was a premeditated plan. I firmly believe that publishers should demand the complete series before publishing these stories. I will never read the other books because they will long be forgotten by 2017 as I search other interesting reads.

As far as the book review was concerned, though it was written well, the story was dragged on and on for no apparent reason, I guess to reach the 5 books planned. Book one, gave no valid theories as to why the male character was so brutal towards the female who was supposedly his most prized possession. It provided no reason as to why it would give him pleasure for one man to touch her,but totally anger him when another touched her and did so much less. Why did it matter whether she spoke or not as long as he gained pleasure? Book 2 again the story line was dragged out almost beyond tolerance, as if the author has written the story for adolescent understanding. At the end there were still so many unanswered questions. Why was the male character separated from his family? Why would the authorities be interested in him? Why was he so attracted to a broken and mutilated girl? The female character appeared to be damaged beyond compare, almost mentally unstable and her behavior ended up appearing more child like than that of a damaged woman.

When I started to write this review I almost gave it 4 stars because of the author being one of my favorites, but decided on 3 stars because of how 1 book was turned into 2 books and the obvious premeditated plan to pull this story through 5 books unnecessarily. Also because the other 3 books are unavailable at this writing but being advertised for preorders which is silly at best. I will never purchase another book series until I can confirm that ALL books are complete and ready to be read.
