The editing sucks so bad. Especially punctuations. There where so many times my mind paused in reading because there was an unnecessary comma. I had to reread just to get the correct idea of the sentence before continuing. It is a good story though despite that, funny and a bit sexy.

I only marked it as predictable because it's based on the classic Beauty and the Beast, so you know the main character's HEA, but the new dimensions to each character and the other characters make for a great story! I will certainly be looking for more in the series to see how it all unfolds and comes together.

First, this is definitely an 18+ book. I liked how this Belle knew how to fight and how she interacted with the street children. I also liked getting a glimpse of the Snow Queen (goddess) before her book. Can't wait to see what fairy tells she writes about next.
Finding Gabriel :: Flunked (Fairy Tale Reform School Book 1) :: A Puss in Boots Retelling (Fairy Tale Kingdoms Book 1) :: Her Mad Hatter (Kingdom Series Book 1) :: The Frog Prince (Faerie Tale Collection Book 9)

I was surprised by the description of Aiden as the Beast, mostly because in my imagination I went in between it being more horrifying than the typical Beast representation, and no big deal. This is played out by Aiden’s self-image and the perception Belle has of his curse. Truthfully, I enjoyed the idea that Aiden did something besides sequester himself after the curse – he found a way to sequester himself while running a business! You have to admire acumen like that, and it’s an important piece of his character that is displayed early.
This novel brings, as did Cinderella, a refreshing and modern take on the traditional tale, while keeping the most important elements of the story largely unchanged. Belle gets the biggest overhaul of any part of the story, becoming a woman who takes no prisoners and is just fine on her own, thank you very much and get out of her way or she’ll kick your butt. The original Belle survived based on her ability to make the best of a situation and see beyond the surface, but Sage’s Belle survives because no one is going to tell her otherwise. There’s a grittiness to Belle that is well-placed with the setting and the Beast in this story. All around this is a rougher world, although no less enjoyable. The banter shared by the two of them is another new element, and one I can’t imagine the story without. I wish I were that witty in real life!
As with others in the series, the sex isn’t a huge part of the story and you can skip if you like, but it is well-written and does serve to develop the characters in some way.

I absolutely love this dystopian version of the tale. Beauty and the Beast is one of my all time favorite fairytales and this version is just as amazing. I love how the author incorporated more than just this one fairytale into the story.

This was a sexy, enjoyable version of The Beauty and the Beast. Prince Aiden, heir of Jereena, has been cursed and is now the Beast, owner of a brothel. Belle's brother stole from the Beast, and has to either repay the money or give the Beast one of his sisters. Belle is not about to let anything happen to her brother or sister, so she presents herself to the Beast. This was a great version and it was a very quick read. It is a stand alone book, though it is also part of a series of fairy tale retellings.

Defiantly not you're fairytale heard of as a child! A sassy mouthed Belle with a mouth of a sailor and a beast with sex club's.... I loved the characters and how they we're portrayed.
A new bust on the old classics, with sexy new twists!
I've rated this book at 5 fabulous star's for it's unique new twists!
I would also recommend this book for adult reading only.... Due to language and sexual content!
Happy reading!
