Although I enjoyed this latest Kathy Reichs book, I didn't find it quite as interesting as some of her others. Some of her books I just couldn't put down, I didn't find this one as compelling. That being said, I'm still looking forward to her next book.

I love this author and her character Tempe. I have always been interested in anything related to forensics. For all of us who have followed Tempe and Andrew 's relationship over all these years we finally have something to celebrate. Thanks Kathy.

Another wonderful page Turner from Kathy Reich's. Fascinating detective work as well as forensic mystery, with a plot twist at the end that kept me guessing. Andrew Ryan is back and a new clurtarion, too. A little romance mixed in with alot of intrigue!

Unfortunately Tempe is becoming very moody and the plot is typical of the series. As usual there are long sections of scientific information which do not further the plot, which is rather thin. I prefer the earlier books in the series.

I enjoyed this telling of the adventures or misadventures of Dr. Tempe Brennan. The characters are so believable that it is sometimes uncomfortable when you read about the poor choices they are making. In this story there were times I wanted to shake Tempe as she put herself in harm's way.

I really enjoyed this book. It was suspenseful and whenever Skinny Slidell is involved I cannot help but laugh at his comments. All in all I would recommend this book. I am still rooting for Ryan and Tempe to get married.

Even though I thoroughly enjoyed the book, it was pretty predictable as far as the plot goes. I do enjoy the suspense that goes with the books written by Kathy Reichs though and will probably keep on buying the sets.

Another captivating "who-done-it" by the prolific and enchanting Kathy Reichs. I do not know how she does it, and frankly, I am envious. When does the woman sleep? This last book is as fresh as her first. She never lets me down.

As usual, this book was very entertaining. I always look forward to the next adventure. I WILL concede that some parts became little too technical. That being said, the story was complex with wonderful surprising twists. A very good read.

I never tire of books by Kathy Reichs. Her subject matter is always informative and educational. She makes even the most complicated scientific information understandable, while weaving it into a compelling story.

Aside from the fact that Tempe can never resist charging into danger, Reichs made this intricate, almost gothic plot totally believable. Great characters, startling twists, and even a realistic touch of ambivalent romance. Very, very well done!

Typical Kathy Reich, She can't quite get her love life figured out and never uses any of her bad experiences to keep her out of situations that any
could be the end of her. Did enjoy the Alfred Hitchcock type ending that came as a surprise.

Fascinating beginning, intriguing middle, rushed and unsatisfying conclusion for the mystery. The ancillary elements, characters, love story are consistently strong it's just the plot that falls apart at the end.

Kathy Reichs is an excellent writer and knows her subject: forensic Anthropology! Different from the Bones television show in supporting cast and location, which takes a little getting used to. But an excellent tale.

It was a very interesting story. I wanted to throttle Tempe for her handling of her personal life, but that's not unusual. I will not say more so as not to spoil it for those who know what I'm talking about.

This being #18 in the Temperance Brennan series this book started out a little slow and did take a bit to get interesting. It did pick up the pace and was enjoyable, however, not one of the best in the series.

Always enjoy anything by Reich's, but I found this a little ponderous. Maybe planned that way to keep the reader from finding out what finally happens with Tempe and Ryan. But so always the plot thickened

Temperance encounters a new law enforcement officer that arouses her even though she has an impending marriage proposal. Her new friend helps to solve the case of the bones that are speaking to her. The story has a surprising conclusion.

This was just too short although I was thrilled with the ending. I thought for a bit that there was going to be a relationship cliff hanger. Really enjoyed the unusual story line--who would have thought!

Sometimes Kathy gets off on her technical blah blah, but I just speed read through. If you have been reading her books you know the info and it gets boring. Will I stop reading? No way. Love the way she writes and holds my interest.

The story line was, as usual, a commentary on social issues. She was, as always, committed to pursuing the truth recklessly. Her indecision concerning Ryan is still troublesome. No peace as yet for Tempe.
