I still feel that the Hart’s Boardwalk series doesn’t have the same magic as Samantha Young’s other series. These are more cookie cutter traditional romances. That being said I did enjoy Every Little Thing a lot more than book one in the series.

Bailey and Vaughn are enemies. They antagonize each other at every turn. Vaughn is doing it to fight off his attraction to Bailey. He admires Bailey and with each passing day the attraction grows but his frustration comes out in biting put downs. Bailey gives it right back to him but deep down his words hurt her.

Bailey is in a dead end relationship that is she is in denial over. She is also in denial when it comes to her attraction to Vaughn. To be fair it isn’t hard to deny it when he is always pushing her buttons and she gets angry with him. Bailey soon finds herself a single woman again and dealing with a threat to her inn. After Vaughn comes to her rescue and they both stop denying each other they give in to their attraction.

Vaughn quickly pushes Bailey away again because he is emotionally damaged. His rejection after what they shared makes Bailey doubt herself and she retreats into herself. Vaughn finally has to own up to his demons so that he can make something real with Bailey.

I really enjoyed Every Little Thing. It had more depth and I loved Bailey and Vaughn’s personalities. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I am really intrigued by sweet and shy Emery. I am really hoping we get her story next.

Every Little Thing is a standalone and is part of the Hart’s Boardwalk series. Think small town with cute people. I really enjoyed Vaughan in Every Little Thing. We got a little glimpse of him and what’s not to love, he’s a business man from New Work and he owns hotels. I love me a successful Hero.

Bailey owns a little inn with her sister and Bailey works really hard to keep her place going. She’s a spitfire and independent woman. The tension between Vaughan and Bailey was crazy.

This book was filled with angst. The whole time I was rooting for the couple to get it together.

Vaughan and Bailey have feelings for each other, but Vaughan is very guarded. He sees how much his father loved his mother and doesn’t want to feel that hurt, should anything happen to his woman.

I really do love the fact Vaughan has such a good role model, but he was frustrating at times. I kind of wanted to tell him to leave Bailey alone if he didn’t want to offer her more. Vaughan may be hot and cold, but he is a good man.

Every Little Thing reads easier than The One Real Thing, but I did find that there was a lot of side story. You get a lot of meat on the other characters and how they interact with the main couple. I was rushing to read more of Vaughan and Bailey and when I did get them it was a little treat.

Overall, I enjoyed the book, but I’m not a huge fan of angst. I love it in moderation, but oh boy did Vaughn frustrate me. I still love Samantha Young and I’ll never stop reading her books.

Every Little Thing is a charming second-chance romance between two enemies in a small beach town. Having met Vaughn and Bailey in the previous book, The One Real Thing, we got a little taste of what their book was going to be like. Their constant bickering, teasing, bantering, and general hatred for one another each time they crossed paths. They didn’t lose steam in-between books, either.

The undertone between the two bordered on hate-lust in every interaction. The self-proclaimed sweetheart of the town against the too-classy hotel owner, the outsider. Their dynamic was fun and feisty; bringing out their playfulness without making them petty. I loved seeing two outwardly different-appearing individuals find out that they weren’t all that different from one another underneath it all. The games and twists and turns to get there were just as fun to witness.

My one concession is that I just couldn’t feel the angst. I felt it between them in their lead-up in book one, but it didn’t seem to transfer over to theirs–or maybe, and this is quite likely, it’s just me. I still really enjoyed their tumultuous and sexy romance, but it didn’t hit me in the gut as I had expected. I do recommend it as Young’s writing is on point, as always, crafting very palpable characters and a love story that is just as beautiful as the sunset on the cover. I love this small town and the characters within it, and I honestly cannot wait to see which couple we’re graced with next.

Every Little Thing is the second installment of the Hart’s Boardwalk series by Samantha Young.

Bailey Hartwell has a great life. Her business is increasing, surrounded by a great group of friends and a steady boyfriend, even if it’s been ten years, without a ring in sight. Everything is simple, until Vaughn Tremaine comes to Boardwalk. Bailey believes that he think she’s a nobody in this small town of her’s, but when she gets blindsided by betrayal, Bailey finds out Vaughn isn’t the jerk she thought he was. As they spend time together, Bailey thought she was healing because she was able to find love with Vaughn.

Until, her tore her heart as he walked away. Bailey isn’t just left wounded by Vaughn, but also from the betrayal she suffered from.

Will Vaughn be able to push a side his fear and help heal Bailey or is he too late?

Enemies-to-lovers stories are my weakness and Samantha Young did an outstanding job with portraying Bailey and Vaughn’s relationship. In additional, the backstory is emotional and I feel like a lot of people will be reaching for a box of tissues. For me, there was no barrier regarding which character I liked best. Both of them held my heart and I look forward to more installments in the Hart’s Boardwalk series!

I absolutely love Samantha Young books they get better and better with each one. Vaughn and Bailey have fought this attraction for years. Both have problems with trust which prevents them from admitting what they feel for each other. the Devlins are everyone's nightmare. it's great to see the community stay together and protect each other. Bailey and Vaughn try so hard to ignore their feelings because neither is willing to trust the other. What will it take actually give in to that trust and open themselves up. I love how the author includes the characters from other books and shows the connection they all have with one another they may not be blood but they are family just the same. as with all of Samantha Young books you'll be hooked from the first word until the last you will not be able to put it down. the characters make you cheer for them and only want what's best for them. although the Devlins are the villains in these books you have to wonder what is up with Jack sometimes you think he's on his family side and sometimes you wonder what he's doing with them at all
Cannot wait to see what is in store for all the other characters and to see the devlins finally get tossed out of Hartswell.

I thought Cooper was swoon worthy with Jessica, but here comes Vaughn and Bailey and they will sweep you off your feet. You could so feel their tension before, but now, it is just off the charts. Between the scorching moments to their banter, you really get emotionally invested in them. The one thing I really loved is Bailey’s spunk. She does not hold back in any aspect but when it comes to being in a relationship with Vaughn, she has a few bumps in the road! Vaughn’s fierce protectiveness makes you just fall in love with him! I really love the story and plot that flows through these books and the twists that are thrown in there. I have to say though.. I am begging you Samantha Young…. I need a book with Emery! I really want to know her story!

I already loved the dynamic between Vaughn and Bailey in The One Real Thing, so I was very happy they got their own story with Every Little thing. A classic hate to love story, though there never was any real hate. Quite the opposite actually, as Vaughn fell for Bailey the first time they met. Except she was in a relationship with another man, and Vaughn has some issues to let women in.

The constant bickering is a form of foreplay, and oh so entertaining to read. When Bailey becomes a free woman again, the temptation becomes too much. It’s so easy for Vaughn to scare her away, though slowly Bailey sees what he’s hiding. He’s not as evil as he wants her to believe, quite the opposite. Vaughn is charming, and helpful to anyone but Bailey.

When things heat up between them, that’s when it gets really interesting. It’s a lot of push, and pull with some extremely hot scenes, charming men, and spirited women. Every Little Thing is everything I wanted it to be for Vaughn and Bailey. You’ll root for this couple from the first page, and they’ll leave you with a happy heart.

"We were two people who were attracted to each other and didn’t want to be."

Firstly I have to say that I enjoyed this a lot more than the first book! I fell in love with Bailey and Vaughn's story. Samantha Young delivers a lovely, steamy and passionate romance.

"Vaughn looked at me like he wanted me. I knew there was power in my smile but wow."

The constant push-pull between Bailey and Vaughn made the story entertaining! They were intense and passionate when they were together. I have to admit that I didn't like Bailey at first but when I continued reading I understood her and liked her more! Vaughn intrigued me a lot and I liked him a lot!

"I've wanted you just like this. That smart mouth of yours sweet. That sexy body of yours mine to do with as I please."

This series just gets better and better! I can't wait for the next book!

I loved this book! EVERY LITTLE THING is the second book in Samantha Young's The Hart's Boardwalk Series. I'd recommend reading THE ONE REAL THING before picking up this one because the characters meet in the first book. Each book in this series is a standalone about a different couple in the seaside town Samantha Young created. When I picked up EVERY LITTLE THING I felt like I was back in the town, revisiting the characters and catching up on their lives. Bailey and Vaughn are the main couple in this book and they start off as enemies and turn into lovers. Their chemistry was off the charts and I really enjoyed their interactions. The romance heated up and turned into something really beautiful. This series is one I'd recommend to all romance lovers. Samantha Young always delivers a great love story.

I really enjoyed "Every Little Thing" by Samantha Young. I am a big fan of this author, I've read several of her books / series and her storytelling always leaves me wanting more. This series has been no exception. I think I thought this series was going to be similar to the others that she's written, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how different this one felt as I read. As good as I thought the first book was - I knew I wanted to read this second book based on the characters that were going to be featured. I was hooked immediately and somehow fell even more in love with this series and the characters included. I have my fingers crossed for who the next book will feature and I'll have to wait impatiently to see if I get my wish. If you are a fan of the contemporary romance genre - pick up this book, series or really anything by this author. You won't be disappointed.
Happy Reading...enjoy!

Reading this book took me away from all my worries and transported me to a beautiful beachside resort town. The vivid descriptions of the scenery and the very real, very engaging characters with their everyday struggles, failures and victories, their intense chemistry and torrid love affairs jump right off the page. The talent of the writer is such that not only was I so completely invested in the main characters' love story but the supporting characters' stories as well. Before I even finished this book, I was dying to get my grabby hands on the as yet unwritten stories of the supporting characters, because their secrets are so compelling I still think about what hasn't been revealed yet hinted at and how it will shape the next books in the series. The Hart's Boardwalk series is definitely on par with the On Dublin Street series, but different, with its own flavor, a different culture. It's an auto one-click for me, 5 stars, and a Must-Read for all contemporary romance fans.

What a turn around this series has made. After reading book one I wasn't sure if I would continue with it, it just hadn't been for me. But Samantha Young is a one click author for me so I knew I had to try again and I'm so glad I did.

We were introduced to Bailey and Vaughn both in The One Real Thing. Their relationship was one of mutual attraction that was obvious to everyone but them. Their interactions consisted of throwing verbal blows at one another and doing their best to be the one with the last word.

This kind of story is one I like the best. Two completely independent, strong, and stubborn characters who have to break down their own walls and fight for what they want and deserve.

This book had my attention from start to finish. I was pulled into not only Bailey and Vaughn stories but also those of the other residence of this sleepy little board walk town. I'm excited to see who's story we'll get next.

Oh these characters!!! Samantha Young does it again with phenomenal characters. I love this little town; I love all the townies. I want to go to Hart's Boardwalk. And stay there.

In Every Little Thing we finally get Vaughn and Bailey's story. All the feistiness I loved about Bailey is back in full swing in this book putting Vaughn in his place. Brooding, mysterious Vaughn finally lets his guard down and we get to see this relationship blossom. Young includes plenty of small town drama and lots of hot sex. Although these books don't have a lot of angst, these characters have won me over. The town of Hartwell has won me over. I have thoroughly loved these books and can't wait to see who the next one is about! Dahlia! Tell me it's Dahlia!

Beautiful, just beautiful.

I received this book from Netgalley and had the honor of reading this book before it was published. The first thing that I want you as a person reading this review to know is that I love Samantha Young. Her writing is beautiful, her characters are unique, you can relate to at least one character in each of her books.

Every single book I have read by Samantha Young has been breathtakingly beautiful. This book is no different. Every Little Thing is the story of Bailey & Vaughn. The characters are wonderful, the writing is spectacular, and the plot line was very interesting with a slight twist that I didn't see coming (in a very good way).

Seriously, just read the book.

Bailey knows when to ask the tough questions “you’ve gone all serious on me. What happened to the raging hard-on and the need to dominate me in bed?” Vaughn knows how to ask the tough questions as well, "He shifted his hips up, his erection pressing into my ***. “Have we got time?” I loved this book, Vaughn could give people whiplash but omce that man made up his mind he moved at lightning speed.

Bailey and Vaughn has explosive chemistry from the beginning which they tried to hide with snark and banter. I enjoyed watching Vaughn lower his walls and accept his feelings while finding his home. Bailey learned to trust herself and Vaughn. I can’t wait for more from this series! Full of love, passion, deceit, and family!

I loooooooved it. I love it!
I devoured it, barely sleep a few hours only because I needed to finish it!
Rollercoaster of emotions! It was fun, it was emotional, it was sexy, it had the right ammount of mystery for being addictive. It was everything Vaughn and Bailey's story could be.
And dont get me started at how much I love the secondary characters.
Dahlia's scene got me super intrigues and don't get me start it with Emery.
Im in love with that girl. And I can not wait for her book.
And there is Jake. And tell me there isn't going to be a great story there. I know it will be.
(And I'm now desperately waiting for their stories)
Samantha Young never disappoint me with any of her books. This one is definitely on my top 3.
If there's someone who didn't started, I highly recommend you to do it! Another amazing story by one of the best authors out there!

My first book by Samantha Young.

This was enjoyable and frustrating at the same time. The frustration was part of the storyline with Bailey and Vaughan and it worked with their characters. I liked how they both developed and grew. I liked the Boardwalk and the other characters and am curious to see their stories also. I will definitely read more in this series.
