A Contemporary Christian Romance Novel (The Courage Series

I did not even finish this book. It was juvenile and truly cannot be called a Christian romance. It might be ok for a teenager, but I felt there was way too much emphasis on clothing, a person's outward appearance and meaningless, trivial conversations. They might have said a word here and there about God or praying, but there was no real faith foundation.

I enjoyed the comraderie of the group of friends in this book. The author has the ability to make you feel like you are right in the middle of whatever is happening. I think she did an excellent job of making you think Eve was going to make the mistake of her life with Dante and then brings AJ serendipitously into her life. I love how she developed their relationship. I thought they were never going to kiss but when they finally did I felt the sparks!

I was a little disappointed in this book because it is listed as a Christian romance. There were only a few slight references to God in the story. The characters didn't portray living lives truly dedicated to God The story itself was okay.

I absolutely loved this book! It was so refreshing to read a book with such a great story line, and no bad language! These are the only books I will read. I love Christian romance novels and will only read these. Thank you Mrs. Stallings for writing a great book for us to enjoy. I would recommend this to anyone!

What a terrific book. Always anxious to get back to it when I had to put it down. Great Romance with a Christian theme --what's not to love. I wound highly recommend it. It was superbly written. Will definitely read more of this author.

I enjoyed the first book in this series, To Protect and Serve, and I think this one might even be a little better. The characters are so likable and the story kept me reading until way too late at night. I look forward to reading the next in this series, and I'll check out Stacy's other books too.

This story brings up some really hard life situations . You want to laugh and then cry. But through it all you admire the way the author shows Gods grace aids us to get on with living. I feel it is a very good read!!

I really enjoyed this book. I tried very hard not to read it so fast. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and wasn't ready for it to end. I think that's one of the many wonderful things about a series. You can check in on the characters from previous books.

In this book Eve loses her firefighter husband in a fire. Their friends try to fix her up, but life has a better idea. There are many interesting twists and turns to the plot which lead to a happy ending.

Great read, Couldn't stop reading (willingly), finished this one sooo quickly! If it would not have been for the title, I would have thought she would go in another direction! What can I say??? Read it you will also love it! Gramsbear...

Staci Stallings does it again with this second book of the courage series. Just when I thought the first one was amazing and she couldn't top it, she does! So often the sequel isn't nearly as good as the first, but I liked this one even better! Which is hard to believe because I loved the first one so much! This book had my attention right away and I couldn't stop reading it. I love how she keeps you in touch with the other characters from the first book too. It had me laughing & crying. Such a great book and a wonderful love story!

Awesome book, did not want it to end. Beautiful story of how God works, His redemping love and grace when we make a mess of our lives and how He is always there wanting to wrap us in His arms and love us anyway.

What a spell bounding, experience. Reading this well written book. I couldn't put it down. I really really loved this book.
