Hot Texas Summer, Long

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and as always Carolyn Brown has me hooked after the first few pages. She has a nack for writing
stories that keep me waiting with antisapation for her next book. I'm long time reader of hers; that is always watching to see if I missed any of her books.

As a native Texan, I can appreciate the authenticity of the location. As a middle-aged woman, I more than appreciate a story I can relate to.

I thought it drug a bit at first, but the pace picked up and told a fine story. I'm going to get another of your books right now.

I enjoyed the story but found the author used swear words too often. When I read a novel I prefer to read proper English. I can understand the odd swear word creeping in but this was over the top for me and it lost stars because of it.

I loved this book. I lived in Amarillo for several years so I'm very familiar with the canyon. It's very pretty. I loved the characters and the story line. I look forward to other books by carolyn brown.
