This book grabs you from the first pages. You know this is a work of fiction, but the story line is believable given the news articles these days. The hard part is moving along doing a demanding job with ten kids at home. The ending is unreal as well as quite believable. Fantastic read!

I have read a fair share of the prolific production of this author. Maybe, that is the reason for my high expectation, which in this case, was not met. I couldn't find much suspense in the plot, and at times, sounded like a City of New York travel log.

I have only started reading the Bennett books resonantly. I have completed the first four books and look forward to reading the next two. Each book maintains and increases my interest in the Bennett family. What is going to happen to them next?

I enjoyed reading this book. It had a good engaging plot, that kept me reading. This is the first one of the Michael Bennett series that I have read. An enjoyable read, although I didn't feel it was as good as some of his other books.

This was my first experience with a novel by James Patterson, and it was a waste of time. There is nothing intellectually challenging, or even remotely interesting, between the covers of this book. The rainbow, single-parent family is absolutely unbelievable. It's like having ten little Beavers and Wallys running around the Clever household. We fell for that 50 years ago ("fool me once...") but not today. The adult characters are static and without convincing motivation. My advice is to do what I am doing, be patient and wait fot the new John Sandford coming in May.
