Many of us who read reports of GRIN technologies consider them simply the latest advances in science and technology; a little unusual, maybe, but potentially beneficial and worth pursuing. This book, however, is a definite eye-opener for anyone with an understanding of humanity’s compulsion to be like God – beginning in the Garden of Eden – the great flood and its cause, and the continuing war between the two spiritual kingdoms climaxing in the last days. The authors lead us to solid conclusions based on scientific research and biblical insight. Whether researchers in these technologies have altruistic or malevolent motives may not matter, because the results likely will be the same: a new phase of spiritual warfare affecting literally everyone on earth. Yes, this material can be deeply disturbing, but the final chapter reveals the other side of the story for those who prepare themselves spiritually.

Everything that masks itself as a scientific breakthrough is not simply that. I remember in the late 90's reading an article about blending robotics with the human body and the sudden implications of the possibilities of how this could be used, and ultimately used against us struck me with a ferocity I still remember. I'm all for artificial working limbs, etc., but there is much more going on in that vein and it still sickens me to think of how this will certainly ultimately be used against those who do not want implants, etc., to make them live longer. The bible says in the end men will seek death and not find it - get it? This book deserves a good thorough read. Then pray about everything you read and ask for wisdom. I also bought a book to help me get my prayer life on track. Lin Tomasso's Prayer Warrior: How to Get Your Prayers Answered is available as a $2.99 download to your laptop or any other device at smashwords.com. The author is humorous and down to earth but definitely tells you how to pray effectively - prayer is a formula, who knew? No wonder why so many prayers go unanswered, we're not doing it right. Get these books. You are not reading this by accident.

While maintaining the highest regard for the authors, I found this book to be a difficult read for the most part. Page after page of quotes by leading researchers and well known scientists. Altho the material certainly is well researched, it gets pretty monatinous and repetitive. Sentences often turn into mini paragraphs with the use of words I've never heard of making it difficult to "get the point". I think it may be well suited for the intellectual, scientific type individual. I certainly agree completely with the information and the analysis of the book. Just had a hard time staying with the topic due to the afore mentioned reasons. While certainly no scholar, I regard myself as a reasonably intelligent individuall. I was able to understand fully what is being presented, just had a hard time staying with the book. Again, no slam on the authors or the material, just the lengthy way it is presented.

One must understand the position the authors are taking. Sadly, some are unwilling to consider the premise on which the Horn's operate: Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Thus, the work presented is logical and reasoned.
If one is a secularist, your concern should be centered on the unbridled race to oblivion, an illogical and unreasonable approach to destroying man kind despite the protestations otherwise.
Hasbro may not like the analogy. The Horns quote Sharon Gilbert, a molecular biologist, in which she compares humans as unhappy potatoes left to the 'splicing and dicing' of so called beneficial gene therapies. Most adults aren't aware Mr. Potato Head used a real potato in the beginning. We aren't as smart as we think we are.

From the title and description this looks like a great book. But it interprets everything from a Christian Biblical point of view. Like trying to explain the Quantum theory with basic arithmetic. So forget science and return to the Dark Ages where everything is simplified into far too simplistic. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I bought this book because I enjoyed his last book. However, because Forbidden Gates was christian/religious, it did not hold my interest. If I had known that Forbidden Gates had so much religious overtone, I would not have purchased it.

I was quite disturbed after reading this claim in the preface "... the authority that Christians alone have." Yikes! It seems that the authors' assimilation-or-extermination scenario -of recent technological developments may be a mere reflection on the authority of the church and its global agenda to convert the entire world.

It's this kind of self-righteous authority that is the real threat to human kind, individuality, free will, etc.

The rest of the book is good sci-fi; borrowing from Zecharia Sitchin and the like. This book does lose credibility in the real world by using God/Satan boundaries -instead of simply stating the obvious truth that we are to blame for our own creations and destructions, good and bad.

The first 66 pages were interesting...the portion on inhaling peyote and sweat lodge were untrue. One untruth ruins a whole for me. I was left wondering what else Tom made up.

I enjoyed the book - I believe some parts.

Much of the book has been covered in his other books -

I hope Tom is wrong about the future - but I doubt it.

My question remains - one individual through faith can not cast out a demon? especially if others want that demon for the person. Got close to an answer...

Sorry, I have been through the peyote NAC Church / I find it hard to believe that it is all demons. I believe that some interact with positive and negative "entities" - I just have a hard time throwing the baby out with the bath water. Sweat Lodge is a cleansing...Peyote is interesting. Bottom line is the power of the name of Christ by one of His elect is the greatest power. I do agree Tom...

When books that don't meet the reader expectations, are considered disappointing and let down but this one is outright misleading by using different subjects to promote very different agendas. The only good of this book is in the recycle value of the paper is written on as I fear, if I give it away to a second hand bookstore, it might end up in the hand of a weak mind where it can only further imprison instead of freeing.

My god, there are this many people that speak glowingly of rank demonology straight out of the Dark and Middle Ages and use it to damn the possibility of actually achieving every dream of humanity including unlimited healthy lifespans and tremendous abundance on all levels? Just skimming this book made it obvious what its nature really is. I am disgusted there are so many that would give credence to such vicious and largely superstitious nonsense.
