Convict: A Bad Boy Romance

I loved it! The banter between Luna and Stone was perfect, the chemistry was HOT, and the story was great! The secondary characters were great too. I loved Luna's relationship with her brothers. The conversation at the end of the book, when her brother was trying to calm her down was hilarious. It sounded like something me and my siblings would do. I would definitely recommend this book!

Yet another great book by Roxie. Although I’m missing her shifter books, I’m loving her Bad Boy Romances.

In Convict we meet Stone an ex-con in witness protection. He’s had a tough life. He spent 5 years in a supermax prison before he’s offered a deal that he takes even though doing so could cost him his life. Witsec moves him to a small town in California, gets him a job as a mechanic, and a nice place to live. Although things seem to be going well for him, he doesn’t hold out hope that it’s going to last for long. Soon he finds himself in trouble with the law. What he doesn’t expect is the girl he flirted with at the beach to also be the investigating detective on a vandalism case.

Luna is a detective for the Tortuga Police Department, she finds herself drawn to the mysterious hunk that seems to be connected to her current case. She knows he’s hiding something, she just doesn’t know what it is. What starts out as a simple case of vandalism and breaking and entering soon becomes something much more dangerous. She has a choice to make, trust Stone, or let him go. What she doesn’t realize is just how hard that choice is going to be to make and to keep.

Steamy sex scenes are not lacking in this book. I’ve come to expect a certain amount of heat from Roxie and she doesn’t disappoint.

I would have loved perhaps a bit more action, not that it’s completely lacking (Stone is a recently released ex-con with anger issues after all). Maybe a little bit more of his time in prison or with the Syndicate to show how he became the criminal he was. That being said the book is great as it is. I’m just being a nit-picky shrew.

If you love bad boys and the trouble they get into, this book is certainly for you.

OMG....this was such a wonderful love story..you can't help but fall in love with Stone, the ex-convict. It's so heartfelt..what he feels and how he tries for Luna. I read a book a day. I have to say, Roxie's writing was excellent, the story flowed nicely..it was so enjoyable. It would make a good romance movie. I can't say enough..this story had depth and you won't be disappointed...very detailed...I received a free copy for my honest opinion.

Another great story by Roxie. Such a good title and a nice long read so definitely worth the money. I truly enjoyed reading about the characters (secretly hoping some of the others get stories too) and the conflict they went through to be together. Lots of action and sexy scenes to keep you reading without getting bored. I love that it's based on the California coast too ;)

I liked how much this book was different from other books in this genre. Stone was not your every day hero. He made me smile and he was very sexy. He was rude and crude and hot. Luna was no princess in need of rescue, but very much capable of taking care of herself. She is suspicious holding back from getting too close in the beginning knowing that he is hiding something from her, but even knowing this can't help herself from giving in to her attraction.

"I've never liked anything that wasn't trouble". Love this line and it was what originally caught my attention. It is not my first Roxie Noir and it certainly won't by my last.

I read Reign by Roxie Noir and loved it! I highly recommend you check her out!

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! Sweet baby angels was it good! Luna and Stone are so sweet and perfect for each other it almost hurts! I absolutely loved following this couple through the past mistakes, and the present danger. The plot was great and kept my heart racing. Not to mention those steamy scenes...whew were they steamy!
This is definitely worth the read, trust me!

I received this ARC for a honest review. I really enjoyed this book. When it started with surfing I thought "oh no" as I have read a couple of those that went nowhere. Not this one .... it was good from start to finish with a sexy mechanic who needed to surf to unwind and a detective who had an instant attraction to the mechanic but hoped he wasn't involved in the crime she needed to solve. Well written and worth a read.

Stone and Luna meet surfing but soon run into each other in the middle of a criminal investigation. She's a great detective and he is running from his past. They can't deny the chemistry and connection they share. He wants to be a better person for her and she can truly be herself around him. A fast paced story filled with overcoming your past, facing the future, love, passion, and doing the right thing. An awesome read!

I received an advance reader copy of Convict in exchange for my review. I was very excited about this novel after reading Reign by Roxie Noir. I wish there was more of the characters from Reign, but Convict comes in a close second! The story line was well developed and left me guessing, with enough twists and turns to keep my interest throughout the book. I am a definite fan of Roxie's writing and look forward to her next book!

Convict by Roxie Noir is another awesome book by this amazing author. I was so engrossed that I did not want to put the book down I was on the edge of my seat. There was suspense, hot sex, action, humor and great characters and storyline. Stone and Luna are awesome together and there chemistry was explosive. I really enjoyed "Convict" by Roxie Noir. The characters were really well-developed and by the end of the story, I could feel what each of the characters were feeling and felt their desire to do the right things for each other. The story included some mystery, some suspense and some really steamy sex scenes ... everything I want in a book.

SUPER Hot. I received this book free for my honest review. So good. ??? I love the characters Luna and Stone. Totally hot couple. Cop vs bad boy. Stone willing to do anything to prove to Luna that he doesn't lie and Will do anything to protect her. Then she's the one who comes running to the his rescue. Hot steamy sex and love too what a combo. This author wrote with imagination and emotion.

Another great book by Roxie. I love how the characters work together and you can feel them. Almost like watching a movie instead of reading a book. Didn't want to put it down. I was scared for Stone and wanted to cry when everything caught up with him and Luna had to watch him be taken away from her and knowing there is a very big possibility that she'll never see him again. This is a must read!

I loved this bad boy story with great characters, romance and intrigue. Stone was really a great guy and Luna gave him a reason to be the best he could be. The ending was great. This is one of my favorite authors and I can't wait for her next book. I feel in lust for Stone and stayed there through the whole book. He's a very Bad Boy who doesn't know anything else but the criminal way he's lived. That is until he meets Luna and she just happens to be a cop. How can an ex con who is hiding from his past and a tough woman who just wants to be loved for herself see eye to eye. Especially when he can't lie and she can't leave him alone.

The plot was interesting and I loved the interaction between Stone and Luna! It's a fast paced read and the plot was well-developed! Loved Luna's brothers! Will we see them again? A great read!

Great book, totally likeable characters with a well developed storyline. If you like your men to be a bit of a badboy but a good man and sexy and your women with brains aswell as beauty then this book is for you, Stone will have you swooning, while Luna will have you planning a girls night out so you can hang out with her.

Stone an ex-con in witness protection and Luna is a detective. Basically opposites attract here, I don't want to say too much more so it won't give away from the plot. Definitely worth the read and couldn't put it down!

Nice start. Stone is a convict hiding out and Luna is a detective. Really liked Stone couldn't connect with Luna. Characters seemd forced. Liked the plot of the second chance, starting over and falling in love. It died completely in the middle. Softer side of bad boy romance book.

Always keeping you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what's going to happen. I liked this book so much that I couldn't put it down. I had to finish it before going to bed. One of my favourite stories. Fast paced. Action filled. Sexy. And hot. Luna is a police detective and Stone is an ex-Convict who works in a garage. Neither childish co-workers or crazy pranks tear them apart although secrets just might. Well done Roxie Noir.

As usual, Roxie pleases readers once again with this nook. Action, romance and humor all rolled into one. Realistic characters make you want to keep reading. I've read all this "series" now....wish there was more!

I really enjoyed this story about Stone (the ex-con) and Luna (the detective). This had a very unique storyline for me. Ex-con in witness protection and a detective! How hot is that! This story has heat, suspense and action! My favorite kind of stories! I recommend!

Stone is in the Witness Protection Program. Luna is a Detective. Put those two things together, and you get an entertaining, funny, sexy, well written story. Two thumbs up! Well done Roxie.
