Luca is a high ranking official in the Chicago Syndicate. Fallon is your average girl next door, a lover of romance novels and quiet nights alone. One night, her roommate convinces Fallon to spend a night on the town in a popular club and that's where Luca's and Fallon's world collide.

Even though Luca is only supposed to make contact with Fallon because of her ex-boyfriend being a former hacker for the Syndicate, he falls in love and begins a serious relationship with her, and that's when things start to fall apart.

The New York boss is wanting more power and sees Fallon and Luca's affection for her as a way to break up the Chicago Syndicate. Because of this, Fallon is unwilling dragged into Luca's dark world. Will she be able to handle what Luca truly does for a living and will she make it out alive?

If you are a lover of Mafia books, then For Fallon is the book for you. I was drawn in to the world that Naomi had created of the underbelly of the busy city of Chicago and how the tangled webs everyone weaves drives the plot forward. There are a lot of twists and turns that will keep the reader on their feet and guessing until the very end.

I find myself totally conflicted over how to rate this story or even review it. The writing was superb, but the content was distressing at times. This was a very violent book. Yes, I realize I chose a mafia book, but I was kind of hoping for a good bad guy. Luca is not good. He is a very bad guy who happens to fall in love with a good girl. He will do anything to protect her even if his methods harm her in a number of ways in the process. He shows no desire to leave his life of drug trafficking and murder. Even though he realizes Fallon could never survive in his world, he won't let her go. Between the two of them, there are so many secrets. Theirs is an obsession built on lies. This story never went where I expected it to, and even though Luca was bad and their relationship was unhealthy, I was still sucked into the story. I wish I could resist book two, but I know I won't. I really need to know how this all finishes.

WARNING: This series is HIGHLY addictive :). This book is about Fallon meeting Luca, a member of the Chicago Syndicate and how their relationship evolves while he is trying to keep his "job" from her. Fallon and Luca are absolutely fantastic characters and keep you on the edge of your seat turning the pages to see what happens next.

I hate stories that keep me wanting more. However, Fallon is both well written and not your typical mafia story. I stumbled on Fallon from an email asking me if I wanted to be part of Naomi's readers. I am glad that I took the chance. Well written, well researched and so very believable. I guess I will have to buy book 2 now.

Fallon’s life is fairly uncomplicated until Luca starts showing up everywhere she that she is. She falls hard for the Italian speaking, green-eyed hottie businessman. Fallon puts on “blinders” and chooses to ignore the warning signs of Luca's sketchy behavior. Finally his disposable phones, random meetings and travel become too much to ignore. Luca’s shady actions start to add up and negatively impact her feelings for Luca. Is he married? Does Fallon know too much already?

Luca is a criminal figurehead in a violent mob organization. He falls for Fallon while she is under mob related surveillance to find her ex-boyfriend. He wasn’t supposed to fall for her. Luca knows he can’t be in a relationship with someone who isn’t connected to his world. Could he reveal himself to Fallon and would she stay with him?

I liked that this book wasn’t a run of the mill insta-love book. After a lot of character and relationship building, this story picked up speed at 50% of the way in. Luca and Fallon’s chaotic and sexy love story unravels from alternating points of view. They love, lust and lie to each other and themselves. This romantic suspense thriller has a lot of unexpected plot twists. For Fallon, it ends with a cliffhanger…but that shouldn’t stop you from reading this book. I will read book two as soon as it's available (SOON I HOPE). What an amazing debut book from this new author!

I found myself just wanting to read 1 more chapter which usually means reading the book from start to finish. The characters are well developed and have good chemistry between them. I can't wait to read more of this wonderful series.

I really enjoyed this book - especially the twists and turns that unfold in the last half of the book which I didn't see coming! Packed with excitement and drama this made for a great read - and what a cliffhanger! Can't wait to read the next books in the series!

I was very impress by Soraya Naomi and her debut novel, <i>For Fallon</i> was a well written, passion packed story that delivered one extremely hot hero, Luca DeMiliano.

Fallon and Luca meet at a club one night and the attraction was instant, they talked and flirted but nothing more. Days later they runt into each other and Luca can stop himself from asking her out. The fact that they run into each other is no coincidence he's there for reason and as things heat up between them the lies start to grow as big as their feelings. The passion between these two is scorching hot, since Fallon's roommate and best friend had to move away to London, she has the apartment all to herself and the sexual encounters are full of passion and sweet Italian words that nobody else can deliver like Luca. As the relationship grows, Fallon becomes suspicios of Luca's constant trips, she knows he's hiding something but she doesn't have any concrete
proof. As much love as these two feel for one another their worlds are just two different. He lives a life of power and danger and she is just a simple girl who loves to read. Will their love be enough or will the lies that both carry deep within them destroy their future?
I gotta say that the prologue in this book is one of the most beautiful, I've probably ever read. Very romantic and poetic which provided a strong premise of what Luca and Fallon's relationship would be like. Having said that, the first 40% of the book was a little slow paced for me, being a Mob theme book I guess I expected more action but once the plot picked up it was one seriously wild ride, ending on a heartwrenchin cliffhanger. Two thumbs up to SN, I can't imagine what she has planned for the next book but she better hurry because I need my Luca fix pronto!!!

This is the first book of the Chicago Syndicate series, and it's definitely off to a good start. With plenty of non-stop action, intense situations, angst, violence, suspense, and smokin' hot sex, this book will leave you wanting more. It's a great beginning to this series, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here.

I would recommend this book.

This was book one of the Chicago Syndicate series. It was a good story with well developed characters. There was passion, crime, secrecy, heartbreak and lots more. The story line was good, and moved at a good pace. After finishing this book I quickly completed the entire series. I would recommend this book along with the additional books in the series.

This book has a little of everything, action, mystery, blood, sex and lies. It starts off a little slow but it lets you get a good idea of both characters. The plot has lots of twist and turns and you never know what is going to happen next. It is written in dual POVs which gave me major incite to Luca's and Fallon's thoughts and behaviors.

It does end in a semi cliffhanger which I normally hate. But I can let it pass as I can't wait to read the next one.

For Fallon by Soraya Naomi 5*

I only realized after I read this book that it's the authors debut novel - a huge surprise because in my opinion it was fantastic! There was so much I loved about this book: it was very well-written in a dual POV and character development was spot-on. To use a cliché, the book has love, passion and betrayal. Oh, and a mafia underboss *insert heartfelt swoon over Luca*.

Soraya Naomi really knows how to paint a beautiful picture with her words and you could feel the love Luca & Fallon have for each other with every spoken word and unspoken gesture. For that same reason, you feel the heartbreak when Fallon learns Luca's secret and the heartache he feels trying to protect her.

I just didn't want to put this book down and I read every chance I got. I would not hesitate in recommending it and give it 5 magnifico stars.

I read ‘for Cam’ and ‘for Adriano’ before reading this one. this is a mafia romance story which is fantastic. this book is full of romance and action, keeping you hooked till the last page. this story builds slowly through out the pages. the author has a fab way of writing which flows really well. a fantastic read, and definitely a must read book.

This book had me hooked from the beginning! Once I started reading it I couldn’t stop. The depth of the characters was amazing and I could really feel them coming to life throughout the book! A totally engrossing book with a great plot and sexy scenes! Can’t wait to read the next book!

Great Debut Novel , I was hooked from the first page. This book had everything i like some drama , love , hot sex . I liked Fallon to a point by the end of the book she had me wanting to slap her. So what if you have this great guy who is a mafia underboss get over it. Luca I loved him from the start. Everything about him screams hot alpha male. Yes he hides things from Fallon but He is only doing it to keep her safe.

The only thing I didn't like about this book is the end, I want more , I need more and the second book isn't out yet. This is a must read

The story begins with Fallon meeting Lucas in a nightclub in Chicago. She finds him attractive and flirts with him but the relationship takes time to develop. Why? Luca was suppose to stay away from Fallon, but ended up giving into his feelings for her. The relationship develops, but it is based on lies and deceit.

The book started out a little slow, but as I continued reading, the more I got into it. Now I can't wait to read the 2nd book in the series.

Very enjoyable read. I loved the excitement and the BUILD UP. Was perfect. So much suspension was amazing. Mafia romance is becoming one of my favorites genres. And Soraya did not disappointed. This never had a dull moment. And these characters were fantastic. Loved this story. Would recommend it.

After their first meeting they seem to keep bumping into each other and so begins the start of their steady relationship.Its a slow buildup and you get to know the characters and how the relationship develops.It was a little slow for me and took me a while to read it.The second half of the book picks up and I found it a lot better and I kept turning pages and couldn't stop reading until I hit the end. Thanks Soraya! That cliffhanger though :O I did not expect that ending and now I want more!

I know that in that situation you aren't thinking rationally and you do stupid stuff and that she didn't know what was going on in Luca's head so she couldn't know what I knew but omg she should have known. This is not making sense or maybe it is?

(my only complain was that their relationship progress was very soon,for me I need to know more for the characters and then to happen something.But this wasn't a big problem because I liked the writing.)

Lucas was mysterious and so hot!!At the beginning I wasn't sure what he was exactly!!But lucky for us we have his POV too so you can see what he is exactly!!!

After a situation Fallon find herself captive..who is her captor and what he wants?

As for Fallon I liked her,the fact that she was reading a lot and has a goodreads account lol :)) I thought I was me!!Her character was real!! This story is ever changing. I couldn't believe how misleading the author was throughout the story. That's an awesome thing because it made the suspense better. Fallon is the good girl that became corrupted. She was introduced into the mafia thanks to Luca. I can't wait to see what happens next.

What I love about the romantic thriller/romantic suspense genre is it’s not just a lovey-dovey romance. There’s always some action, mystery, suspense and plenty of heat. I like sweet, but I need some drama, some excitement and some grit. For Fallon had that. It was a love story, but it was also a story full of secrets, lies and betrayal.

Fallon lives with her best friend in Chicago. She works for a charity as a copyeditor and loves to read. One night, she’s out with her friend at a club. And she sees him. Fallon can’t take her eyes off this guy. They have a few interactions, then go their separate ways. That is until they coincidentally bump into one another the next day. Fallon learns mystery man’s name is Luca.

Luca is intrigued by Fallon, but he has a purpose for watching her in that club. For meeting her after. In his line of work, he often does this. But he’s supposed to stay out of sight. For some reason, with Fallon, he can’t. There is something about this girl that draws him in, and even though it isn’t the best idea, he asks her out.

Fallon and Luca hit it off. With Fallon’s best friend moving for a job, she finds her self more alone and spending most of her free time with Luca. The first half of the story is a slow build. Getting to know the two main characters, what they're about, and watching their relationship develop.

The second half of the story was a whirl wind of excitement, action and suspense. It kept me fully invested and on the edge of my seat. Luca’s job and lies start to catch up with him, but Fallon may not be as innocent as suspected either.

Even with the dual pov of both Luca and Fallon, there were things that still came out towards the end that had me going ‘OMG I can’t believe I missed that!’ I love when that happens in a story. I don’t like to be able to predict every little thing that happens, and that certainly wasn’t an issue here.

Luca is my favorite type of hero. Possessive, protective, alpha, and has just a little bit of dark to him. He has it bad for Fallon. Even though he knows he shouldn’t go there, that he can’t have her, he doesn’t care. He is a man obsessed and consumed by his woman. He’ll do anything for her and I love that about him.

What I really liked about Fallon is her strength. Even in this crazy situation, she didn’t cower or back down. She did whatever was necessary and best for her. She was also very relatable. With all that happens between Luca and Fallon, one thing is for certain. Things between them will never be the same.

I love lots of sexy times in my books, but this had a great balance. It didn’t overtake the story. I rated this a 4-4.5 instead of a 5 only because the beginning started off a little slow for me. Otherwise, I had no issues. It was a fantastic story!

For Fallon is a wonderfully written debut novel. If you like romantic thrillers, mafia type stories, action, mystery and steam- I would highly recommend. I enjoyed reading and I’m very much looking forward to the sequel!

I totally enjoyed this book, the writer keeps you on the edge of your seat with this fast pace romance thriller. I was hooked from the beginning with the prologue the author talks about love how it makes us smile and frown, cry, glow, our bodies ache. Then the author talks about trust, how perfect love does not exist it is one big imperfections. You know she is so right, we love and love is hard work it is something we have to work at each day to keep it alive. It takes just one lie, one thing to turn that love around, we start untrusting and love leaves. If a relationship starts off with lies it is based on lies it will die. This book is about trust, lies and love and how much many lies are too many, when or will you fall back and regroup or will you walk away…..

Fallon has a wonderful life, she living her dream job and all is fine in her world. Until one night when she runs into a man that she can’t take her eyes off of, he feels the same. This one night everything changes, her world will never be the same again. When she finds out from day one her relationship was based on lies what will she do… she loves, gives and all this will be taken away. Her trust is broken, her life in danger, will she be able to forgive or will she walk away.

Luca is a complicated man, with many secrets that he is unable to tell. His world is so different then Fallon’s but he can’t give her up…he will not give her up. There is no way he can keep his two worlds apart it is only a matter of time for Fallon finds out and then what will he do….Right now he is doing the only thing he can by keeping her safe and loving her the best way he knows how. Luca is a strong alpha male who would rather shoot you then deal with you. Only one person can and does bring him to his knees that is Fallon. She is his world his everything…Fallon has trouble dealing with his life and his lies.

I really like the author writing style, I loved her characters. There are so many stories in this book that could take off into other books. I felt the book started out a little slow but it sure picked up it pace in a hurry. The one and only thing I didn’t like is this book is a cliffhanger, it does kind of have closer but everything is still left up in the air. I will give this a 4.5 but rounding it up to a 5. Anyone who knows me knows how much I hate cliffhangers and most of the time I will not give more than a 4 but I really liked this story and it does have somewhat of an end.

I enjoy reading this book and look forward to reading the next one to see how things end with Luca and Fallon. Too much can go wrong in their world before it can be made right, it is even up in the air if it can be made right. If you are interested in picking up your own copy it is due to be released 7-26-14. I recommend you going to get your copy from a new author who in my book will go far…..
