I usually look for stories in a "series" because i hate short reads. That being said, I was drawn to this one as a filler while searching for my next big read. I was familiar with the author's writing style. I was not surprised to be pleased. Very sweet story, kept my interest the whole way, I enjoyed it ( though I wished it would go on to another book like the author's "beautiful" series which was AWESOME). No negativity here. :)

This book was awesome. I never wanted the story of Ansel and Mia to end. I loved how relatable every character was and that none of them were perfect. The story and the relationships blossom so perfectly it made never want to stop reading. This has been one of my favorite NA books! I can't wait to read the other books in the series.

While Beautiful Bastard series will probably always be my favorite this series will most likely be my second. Though I have other favorites there's just something about these books or maybe it's just this author I don't know which it is but I just can't help myself! Love them!

Welp, they've done it again; another incredible book! Just when I think they couldn't possibly top the Beautiful series, they've gone and done it with the first installment of the Wild Seasons series.
I LOVE Ansel and Mia. I love their story, their passion...everything. I've read and reread this book more times than I can count. I really can't say enough about it. Other than, I want MORE!

I was hesitant to buy this book (Kindle/audio) because of the young age of the heroine. Wasn't sure I could relate as I'm in my fifties. Well, it made me feel young again! Reminded me of my younger, more impulsive, days. Plenty of steamy scenes, too. I can't wait to move on to the rest of the series. Hope I'll love them as much.

I had high expectations for this book after hearing all the hype from people who got to read the ARCs, lucky bastards, and I have to say the reality of this book blew my expectations out of the water!!! It is funny and fresh-so different than anything I've read. I had this raw emotion in parts that made my throat tight and my eyes teary. Christina Lauren are so talented-their words have a life of their own. So excited for more wild seasons books!!!!!

This book interesting... I feel like a grouch saying this but no way would Mia and Ansels marriage ever last. They hardly know each other. This book had a lot of awkward moments. But the plot was still spontaneous, entertaining, and fun. I'm not sure I would have forgiven Ansel as easily for his little slip with everything involving Perry. Overall, this book is a fun adventure.

I love the writing duo Christina and Lauren...everything they write is gold. I fell in love with Ansel and was hoping there was going be some drama so that I could read more of him and Mia in another sequel...I love the idea of doing something impulsive and somehow it feels right...getting married in Vegas when drunk, having mind- blowing sex and then going off to Paris to see where it goes...

I love this author. Read the beautiful series and you will want to read this one. First, she comes up with the BEST titles. I could not put this one down. I read the reviews and even tho they weren't as stellar as other books, I had to read it. Sweet Filthy Boy made me happy. The book is well written , loved the story and it's all positive as far as I am concerned. Enjoyed this one!

This book...wow.
It starts off with three girlfriends Lorelei, Harlow and Mia graduate from college and head to vegas to have a weekend with no regrets before they start their lives in the real world. While they are there they meet the guys Oliver, Finn and Ansel who are there for a weekend of fun after bicycling across the U.S. for charity.
Ansel Guillaume is tall with dark brown hair and dark brows over mischievous eyes. Mia describes him as “the guy who’ll do a ridiculous robot dance to make you laugh, who’ll like the tip of your nose, make a fool out himself for a smile, and if she tried to wrestle him to the ground he’d let her win and enjoy every minute of it.” That sounds fantastic to me. Ansel is the kinda guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and had my heart fluttering from the moment I met him.
“Having Ansel near me has reduced me to a puddle of want.”
After a night of partying everyone wakes up married. The only ones not rushing to get an annulment are Ansel and Mia. They had spent the night talking and Mia told him everything. Something that she never does with anyone. Ansel listens to her and doesn’t judge her. He makes her feel comfortable and that means so much to her.
“I want to love all of my life as much as I love this night.”
After some back and forth Mia decides at the last moment to leave for Paris with him and spend the summer pretending to be married. To get away from all the things she had planned for her life that she didn’t really want.
“I’m here because I can’t be away from you, Mia. You’re my wife.”
They spend the summer together roleplaying. Using that as a way to help Mia get out of her head and to get to know each other in an honest way when they are too nervous to do it themselves. Their role playing is some of the hottest sex scenes these ladies have written. (The office window sex with Bennett and Chloe is still #1 though lol!)
“Which was your favorite? Living room, or bed, or floor, or bed, or wall, or mirror, or bar? I think I need a cast for my penis.”
“You’re the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I’m dreading the day you leave. I”m losing my mind thinking about it.”
Somewhere along the way their pretending isn’t pretending anymore and what they feel is real. With Mia trying to escape her future and Ansel trying to escape his past, information is withheld and feelings are hurt. They need to figure out if they can forgive and move on as husband and wife.
“I don’t want you leave without me. A wife belongs with her husband, and he belongs with her. “
I enjoyed the relationship Mia has with her friends so much. It was one of my favorite parts of this book. Some of my favorite quotes from this book are from those three.
“I’m not sure we actually slept. I’m disappointed I don’t remember it all, but I’m pretty sure we did everything.”
“Anal?” Harlow asks in a reverent whisper.
”No! God. Put ten dollars in the Whore Jar, “ I tell her. “You’re such a troll.”
Or this other little gem that anyone who knows me knows why I love this….
“So we’re talking the big L-word, aren’t we?”
“Lesbians?” I deadpan.
“What I mean,” she says, ignoring me, “is that this wasn’t just about banging the sweet, filthy French boy.”
“It never really was just about banging the French boy,” I tell her. “I think that’s what freaked you out.”
“Because it’s big,” she says, and then high fives me as we all yell, “That’s what she said!”
Whether it is the amazing friendship Mia and her girls have or the unexpected love she finds with Ansel during a weekend trip to Las Vegas and the fact that he comes for her every time she leaves him. This book was amazing from page one to the last. I would of loved to have an epilogue at the end but hopefully we can get more when Dirty Rowdy Things comes out. Christina and Lauren hit gold with their new series. It was sexy, funny and a tear jerker. A real triple threat and I have now put it on my favorites shelf next to my Beautiful Bastard books.

I love book, adore the characters, and can only hope that my two teenage daughter will someday find a Sweet Filthy Boy just like Ansel! He is just so adorable, charming and strong; the perfect combination! I have my own sweet filthy boy so I know what I'm talking about!!! Another terrific read by CL that leaves the reader smiling with satisfaction, but eager for the next story in the series!

I really love the Beautiful series and was looking forward to this new series, but it just is not as good. I like the way it begins. It is promising, but then the characters did not grab me like the other series. That being said, I do think this is better than a lot of romance I have read recently. I don't know if I will read others in this series.

Well I'm all about a whirlwind romance. These are books after all. I'm flying to Vegas! I fell in "like" with Ansel and well Mia you dirty little thing. Really enjoyed this it was easy not a lot of back and forth few hiccups for our sexy couple and well discovery for our girl Mia. "I want to love all of my life as much as this night " romantic and sexy

This story runs the gamut of emotions, happy, sad, funny, angry - love. I laughed so hard at Harlow and the girls dynamics. Everyone deserves friends like them. Ansel is the epitome of a good, sexy, lovable boyfriend, I just need more details of how their future plays out. I hope it continues in the Rowdy Boy story which I am going to read right now!

Hmm....I'm a little conflicted about this book. It is a different tone compared to the Beautiful Bastard series. Where that series was light, funny, and sexy, this book was more angst ridden, still sexy, but emotional. More of a serious tone. Not much humor. I still enjoyed the story and am an über fan if CL but I am not a fan of the abrupt ending *sigh* 4 stars

OMG!!! I have read this book twice already and I LOVE IT!!! Ansel is just smoking hot :) The drama and love story between Ansel and Mia is infectious. The characters and storyline is well developed and the erotic scenes are truly unreal. A real turn-on ;) Definitely a great by the pool summer read :)

Another winner. I LOVE Christina Lauren' s books. They are always so entertaining and amazingly hot. Ansel is smart, sexy, funny and just plain adorable. I love how unique each male character is in all of their novels. So far this French boy is my absolute favorite. He is a wet dream personified.

Loved this book! It has everything I want in romance: a gorgeous, loveable, sexy hero, a beautiful, appealing heroine, both with challenges to overcome. It has hot and steamy sex, and a plot that kept me turning the pages. Since I'm new to this author (team), I now have to go out and buy all the other titles by them out there.

GAH! I loved every moment between Mia and Ansel. They changed each other’s lives in a wild Las Vegas moment and never looked back. It has it all: life friendship, love, lust, & a lot of steamy moments.

5 star rating for the filthy French boy and quiet, beautiful Mia. Ansel is adorable and loving on dear Mia. That kind of hero makes the book so great to read. He's attentive, regardless of his secrets, and makes Mia his top priority. A great tale of how a drunken, good time in Vegas can be exactly what one may need in their life!

I was hesitant to start a new series, even though I love the authors, after the Beautiful series (and not wanting that to end!). But, I couldn't resist it. I love the characters, how they are together and separate. It is that kind of friendship that gives the laugh out loud (literally!) and the comfort when needed.

Loved this book as much as the beautiful series and the original couple Bennett and Chloe. Mia took a chance and I think it paid off for both her & Ansel. Just like any other couple they had a bump and they overcame it! Can't wait for the next book in the series to hopefully get a glimpse on their relationship now. Well done Christina Lauren!!!

Loved it...yes it was predictable, yes we've been to Paris before and walked the fabulous streets, yes we've met the scarred little boy who just wants a family.... but I didn't care. I LOVE Ansel and Mia. It would be wonderful if we meet them again in the following books, just to see how Mia's plans unfold. Great job, girls.

ansel and mia start with the typical Vegas scenario.....drunk fun with questions and regrets to overcome. mia drove me nuts when she wouldn't question certain unknowns or weird behaviors. so in the end she deserved the surprise. they both try to escape their pasts and even what they think should be their future.

I thought the book was great and would have rated 5 stars, but the ending dropped it to 4.5 stars. It's not necessarily a cliffhanger, but it definitely leaves it open and I like more closure than that in an ending. The book has a lot of sex and the writing was HOT!

AUDIOBOOK NARRATOR PROBLEM:
I wanted to buy the audiobook but I did not because I could hear the narrator's BREATHS. The narrator Shayna Thibodeaux needs to use a different microphone, or do something in the editing process to remove the breaths.
THE PAPERBACK BOOK:
I really liked the characters and the story, but there wasn't enough of it. It's mostly sex - maybe 80% or 90%. I skimmed some of the sex scenes. I wanted to see the two main characters do things other than have sex and have them interact with friends, parents, and Ansel's boss. And it might have been better to have some of Ansel's point-of-view.
But if you're in the mood for mostly sex, I think the sex scenes are fine. There is self pleasuring and some hand tying. At one point Mia is inhibited but finds that if she dresses in costume and does some role play, she can let go of her mind and have better sex. The role play scenes are a maid, strangers meeting at a bar, a she-devil, and a student with a professor.
I will say Ansel is yummy.
The characters are in their 20s. Mia just graduated college. So this fits the New Adult label, but it's not the angsty type. I prefer calling it erotic contemporary romance.
DATA:
Narrative mode: 1st person Mia. Story length: 382 pages. Swearing language: strong including religious swear words. Sexual language: strong. Number of sex scenes: 16. Setting: current day mostly Paris, France, with some San Diego, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Copyright: 2014. Genre: erotic contemporary romance, less angst New Adult.

Sweet Filthy Boy was a fun, easy, feel-good read. Ansel was a total sweet-talking dreamboat of a book boyfriend. Mia was non-irritating, funny, and quite like able as well. My only complaint is that it ended without an epilogue.
