For all his intent to not commercialize his art, and an intention cheered and supported by his many fans (like minded individuals), the desire to own copies of these and to read the few words that allow us to hear his thoughts -- it is a must have.

The best coffee table book you could ever own. Every time we have a party someone picks it up and the party revolves around it culminating in a showing of Exit through the giftshop.
It's filled with pics of his best stuff.

It’s Banksy, one of the most important contemporary artists. But I wonder how much he really believes his own rhetoric. If I went and spray painted over his canvases at Amsterdam’s MOCA, for example, would he applaud me or press charges? Not every public or private space is free for anyone to deface. Buildings were made by architects. How about respecting the vision of a fellow artist rather than ruin it? Where is his snese of artistic ethics? If nothing else, he ought to respect other artists and realize that advocating graffiti is disrespecting other artists. We’ll see what happens if anyone ever tries to deface his work. The artwork itself, his stencil technique, brilliant.

This is a fantastic collection of Banksy's work. It also includes writings by the artist. A great gift for anyone interested in art. Very witty and thought provoking, this will definitely be displayed at the top of my book shelf.

Banksy is a political artist who has created pieces from the thought-provoking to the amusing, and usually somewhere in between. This book is complete with wonderful photos of his pieces, his own little quips and insights into his background and what inspires him.
I really liked this book, and I am not a fan of grafitti. But Banksy is a true artist, unlike the vast majority of those who deface public property. In short this book makes a good coffee table book that guests will be intrigued by - for at least the next 5 minutes anyway.

Banksy is one of the artists who elevates graffitti into a true artform. It's political, satirical, sometimes lyrical and often very pointedly amusing. This book contains some of the bext pieces done all over the world. The work that goes into planning and executing these works is staggering. Very engaging and an ideal gift for any artist or art fan.

Once again, Banksy has no problem with satirically setting up words and images to really get people to think about the ridiculousness that is everyday life. The book was organized well and in Preston's condition when I received it.

I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in graffiti, street art, or just art in general. The book is loaded with pictures of Banksy's stencil work along with his fine art paintings. Throughout the book he has written down his thoughts and included insightful, clever stories. Once again if you are a fan of art with a message you need to have this book.

Awesome book by Banksy. Essentially his 3 last smaller books in one. Witty text and graffiti throughout and printed on quality material. If you are a Banksy fan you will not be disappointed by this purchase.

anti-establishment or anti-pop culture, has an establishment of its own and a culture that drives certain individuals with similar social "rules" and mannerisms and banksy is the president of this niche of social outcasts.

I hardly ever write reviews on the store but this book is nothing short of amazing.
The combination of Banksy's art and his quotes will make you laugh and think like nothing else. I guarantee you.

This is a solid book, and well put together (which seems rare for books these days - spine and pages are really well crafted). A great introduction to Banksy, though not quite a reference caliber work, It is a solid book, and a great gift.

I love this man and his exsistencilist view of lif. Yea Banksy - who does decide that the Golden Arches of Muck- Donalds are legal and the disturbing statements of unpaid adverts for sanity are ill-legal?

Banksy is one of the most relevant modern artist of our time and this book shows an excellent sampling of his works along with commentary from Banksy himself on how he accomplished some of his most daring feats. Notably excluded is his work at Disneyland.
