I think it adds a lot to the picture as a whole. I use colored pencils, so don't know about how markers would work, but the black backing on the pages should stop bleed through. Read more

Review:It is a nice journal. The cover is just as it appears here. It is a larger than average size journal. The only thing I didn't like was the pages have a name at the bottom of each page or her website or something. Review:Although the pictures are detailed, thworth are not that many before they simply repeat the same pages. The fangs look a bit silly in some drawings. I wouldn't have paid over five dollars had I known the images merely repeat. I feel cheated. Read more
