Great book for someone who is just getting into adult coloring. This book also give you suggestion on brands of color pencils, gel pen, and so much more. The brands they suggest are low price and high price items so everyone will be able to afford to buy something without going over budget.

DO Magazine was the first US Coloring magazine to arrive on the scene and have enjoyed it since it's initial issue. This 'How To" guide for adult coloring books was very welcome into this world. Many adults are intimidated when they see the colorists who have been working on their techniques for a few years already and get discouraged because they don't know where to start. Design Originals has nailed this problem on the head in this book. Fabulous illustrations explaining color theory, shading and highlighting techniques, blending, how to use different mediums etc. I highly recommend this to all new colorists. I'm so glad the publishers sent me a copy to check out, I now recommend it to all the new coloring enthusiests I meet.

You will get something from this book no matter what your level of experience is.
