Tessa Bailey never disappoints! Her books are automatic buys for me and they go straight to the top of my TBR. I love her writing style. She's one of my favorite authors. This story hooked me from the beginning. Great characters, well-developed, and some of the best sex scenes ever. Buy this -- you'll thank me later.

Wow Matt and Lucy's story was rather combustible. I think their story was something I can not fathom but Lucy seemed to understand Matt. For me it was another way war messes with your mind and it takes special people to make all relationships work. For me my least favorite in this series but still a good book.

Ok, I really enjoyed the two main characters Matt and Lucy, however, I never felt like I got to know them... I really loved Matt, I love alpha males so that was hot. Just not enough meat on the bone to get into the book. I enjoy Tessa Bailey's books and will continue reading them, this one just wasn't my favorite.

The queen of dirty talking heroes has saved the best for last!! She doesn't call him Matt "down and dirty" Donovan for nothing.

I'm a huge fan of Tessa Bailey's Line of Duty series. The first book in this series has always been my favorite, but with this book I think she has finally dethroned Derek and Ginger. Matt is the quiet, broody, dominant type and Lucy is a funny, sweet and saucy. Together they are unbelievably hot!

Matt is definitely the most dominate one of the group. I was finally glad to hear his story since he was the quiet one in the other books. Don't want to give too much away but he is into light bdsm. You can't help but love Lucy. She is always up for a crazy adventure and brings light back into Matt's life.

This book is funny yet exciting. Sometimes you just want to get lost from reality a bit and this book will do it. It keep me from putting it down so here again didn't take me long to read. Loved every minute of it though. Read the other "Line of Duty" books. They are all great reads!!

Wow! Matt is one hot, dirty-talking alpha! If you've read Tessa before, you know her men are hot and dirty (and if you haven't read her, you are missing out big time!). Matt tries to keep his inner bad-boy tightly leashed. Thankfully, that doesn't last long. :)

I have a new book boyfriend and his name is Matt Donovan.

If you follow Tessa on Facebook, you'll see her page says "Get a Fan." I highly suggest you do so before reading this book. :)

Matt & & Lucy's story is officially my favorite of this series.

Underneath their attraction is mutual respect & adoration that threads it's way through the book. Both want the same things but signal reading is not their strong suits.

Great reading. Such a great series.

It was one roller-coaster of emotions. I loved their relationship but I felt for Matt and his secret. I just wanted to hug him. He worked so hard to get pass those dark demons that kept him from opening up. But when he was willing to open up to Lucy and she made it so easy for him. What a perfect couple. I guess that's why their SEX SCENES WHERE HOTTTTT!!!! A must read.

Reading the last three books I did notice that Matt was quiet but didn't really notice that he held himself back.
But hearing his history made me feel for him more, and Lucy is always know for her rebelled days.
Having each other bring out a better person for the both of them

OMG!!! Absolutely the best one yet. The neusence and the broken...ahh what a pair. One closed off, one a free bird both with issues. Can they work through it? I dunno but the sex, not pantie wetting but pantie soaking....

Really ? Really? Can Tessa do no wrong.? Another win for Tessa. Can we have another please? Or is it to soon?. Matt Matt Matt. Wow I loved Derek, but I'm thinking Matt is honing in. Buns of Glory and grapes is what I'm going to be thinking about long after this book.

I really liked this book. it was steamy pretty much from the beginning right up until the end. I couldn't help but to fall in love with Matt however the things he was doing or wasn't saying at times had me screaming. I would definitely read again.

Matt and Lucy's characters were well written and I liked them both. Lucy was just too understanding about Matt all of the time and Matt was a hot mess most of the book fighting his feelings and his past. 3.5 stars for me.

This series has me reading until the wee hours of the night to get up early for work! I have never been pro- cops or anything, but these very alpha, controlling, and naughty cops I feel for immediately.

I generally stay away from the domination and control type books... just not my thing. A warning to others who feel the same way... this one has all of that. Unless, of course, that's your thing - then go for it!

I've really enjoyed Tessa's other stories but honestly I just didn't get this. I found Matt's character quite confusing and I had a hard time connecting the dots between his kind of weird behaviour and the source of his anxiety (the death of his friend and infidelity of his girlfriend at the time). I liked the beginning but felt it lost focus after they returned to NY.
