I thought it was an amazing book. The author writes very well. It was adventurous, fun, and had a lot of suspense in it. I can't wait for the next book because I know that Forman will captivate readers even more and the next book has to be fantastic. Go Alex!

Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It was okay, but Alex is way too OVERPOWERED. There is literally no challenges for him. The series was okay at first, and now it's meh. I would also like to see Alex embrace his warrior side more and Moonslayer.

This was somehow ordered accidently and there seems to be NO WAY to cancel it...I'm extremely disappointed in this stupid 'one touch' ordering as any one who picks up my phone can order something unwanted!!!

Welcome to the third installment of The Adventurers Wanted series, Albrek's Tomb by ML Forman. It is a YA fantasy novel published by Deseret Book.
The Story- It's time for another adventure, and this time Alex is equipped with his staff, marking him a true wizard. He teams up with some old and new friends, including Kat a Seer, Arconn an elf, and Thrang the dwarf and current adventure leader. Together they go on a quest to find Albrek's Tomb, and the ring of seeking that it contains.
Their journeys take them far, including an island of bones where a city of dwarves mysteriously disappeared over a thousand years ago. There is also an abandoned oracle tower, a hidden dragon that wishes to be left alone and a city held prisoner by an evil necromancer's power. Through it all our heroes are tested and refined. Alex himself learns truths about his own heritage and blood line. Plus, a Dwarven war is averted.
My Thoughts- I love this series! It takes me back to why I love fantasy to begin with, back to those teenage days of reading Dragon Lance and Forgotten Realms. This quest is so much fun, full of adventure and great twists. Alex is a great character that is full of unknown power, but is humble and a joy to read about.
And there are dragons, and I love dragons. Some books really get boring, but this one just keeps giving. Plan after plan rolls out as you read the book, and hidden conspiracies are uncovered. It is wonderful how everything ties together. Magic, quests, dragons, elves, and magic bags that contain rooms big enough to hold a greenhouse or blacksmith's shop, what more can you ask for? A great fantasy book perfect for all level of readers, elementary school on up.

1) Rating: 5 out of 5

2) Genre: Young Adult / Fantasy

3) Synopsis: Alex Taylor is on another adventure again. In search for Albrek's Tomb and a ring that will help the dwarfs regain their prosperity. Of course, there is other trouble along the way.

4) Feelings: The first two books in this series received my highest recommendation last year. I was excited for this third book to come out. It didn't let me down. I really enjoyed this book and the thought of another reality out there if you can find it. My only problem was it seemed Alex grew up a lot from book two to three. It wasn't hard to get over but a couple of times I thought wow he seems extra mature or extra powerful. Still what do I know about the training of a wizard.

5) Final recommendation: I would recommend this book to anyone but especially to any young men out there reading. Read the first two books first but this one is just as great.

Great book for kids who like adventures. This book touches more on death, and fear, and evil than the other books - not that they didn't come up in the other books, it just seems this one touched on these themes in a less kidlike way. The author handles it well. Still good life lessons here - do what you say, honor is important, try not to overthrow the king :)

We are still wondering what will happen with the other (recovered) adventurer's bags, and what is building up with all these [people?] who keep promising Alex to come if he ever needs help. I woud also like to learn more about Bane and his quest!

4 stars because this is not great literature, but highly recommended! My 9-year-old is reading this one; he pops up for air every once in a while and asks about some segment - other than that, not a sound. I can't think of a better endorsement.

Alex Taylor joins his third adventure to find the long-lost dwarf Albrek and his magical ring that helped the dwarves find land rich in minerals to mine. Alex now has a staff and is no longer an apprentice, but has full wizard status. But the group of adventurers is in for variety of trials and obstacles before they discover what happened to Albrek and his final resting place.

Alex has matured and grown more confident in his abilities, yet still seems doubtful when he hears about his potential. The adventure and excitement are even greater in this third and final installment in the Adventurer's Wanted trilogy. Though, there seems to be endless stories to tell, so I hope Forman continues to write more in exceptional fantasy world. His worldbuilding and unique characters are fascinating and engaging. A thrilling, quest-based fantasy - this world has its share of evil, but the majority of characters uphold honor and charity above greed and material wealth. Which is funny considering that on the surface an adventurers' career goal seems to be accumulating wealth. I highly recommend this light-hearted, epic fantasy trilogy to readers of all ages.

Each book in this series gets better, the narrator does an awesome job of bringing the listener into the story. Each tale grows more complex and convoluted so the level of anticipation is always on the increase. Only a small almost spoiler here, Alex finally discovers who or what he is but will take a long time to acclimate. If you have come this far it is a must read.

I love this series! The third book finds Alex growing into a young man and taking some leadership and guidance roles in the adventure. Albrek's Tomb has more places for us to visit and we get to see Alex in action as a wizard. A wonderful read!!!!
