I really enjoyed reading this story, but I feel a lot was left open, as if a sequel was intended but never delivered. I very much look forward to learning more about this character and what happens after this story ends.

An action packed book with interesting characters one can identify with in a conflict between brother and sister. One the Jedi sister learning the force and her brother who turns his back on the force.

I am writing this part because the store requires it. I liked the book but if they are going to put all these requirements on reviews I think their stupid emails requesting reviews will be going to the junk pile.

Book was cool. It shined an interesting light on the Jedi and what some of them do. If you're into EU this book is great. Good pacing (with flashbacks that help elaborate the story and characters.)
My only real grip is the author was a bit lacking in details of what the main character was seeing. 8/10

I found a great many grammatical errors in this book. I found the plot to be lacking. The author doesn't seem to know how to transition without the main character blacking out (four times, by my count). Not only that, but several times the author goes back and forth on which sibling is the eldest. Honestly, it was a nightmare. This book is reason enough for me to never pick up anything authored by Tim Lebbon for the rest of my days.

Have read Star Wars books here and there. But never really new where to start. The books would go all over the place. The universe expanded so big it was hard to stay on track and in order. Reading star wars books became more work then fun. Now with Dawn of the Jedi into the void it seems there finally a place to start and stay in order. The book is very good and interesting and gives a back story to the Force and the Jedi . And how the Jedi evolved from the je'daii. I really enjoyed the story and how it draws you in. Next in the timeline is Lost tribe of the Sith. So will be reading that series next . And hopefully the time line stays together ......

bad....book doesnt conclude anything....also only half of the book was this story, the other half was bits and pieces of other sw books. cant believe this was the most expensive electronic book i've purchased. i feel slightly ripped off and just hope this isnt the future of ebooks.... i spent 7 dollars on this book and another 6 bucks for the advertisements in the end of it

After reading the Fate of the Jedi series, it was very refreshing to take a deep breath and visit the world that started it all. I'm not one for giving stories or spoilers, but if you're a true fan of The Old Republic series of novels, then this book is for you.

Fantastic story that leaves a lot of questions. Action packed, thrilling, and never dull.

Leaves the reader yearning for more previous history, as well as, excitement and anticipation of what is to come next!
