This book was hilarious and hot! I often get nervous trying out debut authors, but man did Lily Kate hit it out of the park, er... score a goal with this one!

While it's considered a sports romance, nothing really takes place on the ice. It was face paced and engaging and I adored Ryan Peirce! The connection he had with Andi was so believable.

"Before I met Andi, the world never sparkled."

This book had everything I want from a romcom: heat, laughter, romance... gah that romance!

"You're the cake. Without the cake, there is no icing. I need you."

Really, if being called the cake doesn't make you all swoony and moist... then I don't know what is wrong with you! I had a little smirk on my face the entire time I read this book, it was almost as if the author new all of my favorite things in a book and she put them in there just for me!

This is my favorite romcom of 2017 so far, go but your copy today!

OMG! If you like sexy, hot, hockey hunks than Delivery Girl is for you. This book was fantastic for a Debut. I didn't want to put it down, but unfortunately I have to work, so I was stuck to reading at breaks and lunch. I finished it just a little bit ago and I LOVED IT!!! Ryan had everything I like in my hero- He was strong, sexy, hot, funny, and no cheating!! Andi was amazing as well, her humor showed through the whole book, but with her choice of profession it needed to. She was strong and not willing to give up on herself. I felt like I was part of the story and thought the storyline was great because it moved at a good pace. I can't wait to see if Lisa gets the next story!

Delivery Girl by Lily Kate

Andi is a college student by day and a pizza delivery girl who is in the comedy business by night. One evening she delivers a smiley face pizza across town. When she gets there, she
hears someone getting busy inside the house. Undecided how to play this, she is hiding in the bushes when the door opens, and there stand a hockey god, dripping wet with just a towel around his waist. Ooooooo la la!!!

Ryan opens the door to a gorgeous pizza delivery girl. He also opens his heart.

Andi and Ryan’s story is fun and fast paced. It’s the first book by Lily Kate I’ve read, but it won’t be the last.

I loved Loved Loved this book. These characters are so great. Ryan and Andi bloomed into this couple that was hard not to get entranced with, but they fought hard for one another.

Ryan is a hockey star ready for greatness. He has the opportunity of a life time to sign with a great team... With one prevision that he didn't think world be an issue. Until it was. Andi was a sweet funny woman ready to be a star on her own, but Ryan was the exception she didn't see coming.

This story had lots of ups and downs but the live these two had was evident even when they didn't realize it. I implore you to read this book!!!

What happens when you have a Sexy Hockey player answer the door in nothing but a towel to Andi the Delivery Girl. Well Andi life starts to change when she is requested as the Delivery girl week after week. Ryan can't get Andi out if his mind, she is different then the puck bunnies, she is funny, smart not to mention beautiful. Things start out as friends but along the way without them realizing feels are there, cant they make it work. was it wrong to be friends with benefits, can they find the Happy Ever After that they didnt think they wanted but now do. Such a great story.

I really wanted to like this book, because I really liked the synopsis (and the cute cover art). In fact I pre-ordered it before release and before any reviews were posted. There were some editing errors, but not so many as to be overly distracting. I thought it was a good first novel, and kudos to the author for going for it and self publishing a book! It s a solid first novel, but I agree with others that it had so-so character development, some gaping plot holes you just had to overlook, and a villain/agent that was just silly. Also the (h) character is a stand up comic, but she isn't overly funny or witty in her dialog or banter with the (H) character. Comics are quick witted, not "duh I'm hiding in the bushes" tongue-tied. It had some funny moments, but it was uneven. I give it 3 stars and I'd like to see the sophomore effort from this author before drawing conclusions.

This was a good read overall. The storyline and characters were pretty well developed and Ryan and Andi were really likable characters. There were some editing problems and the story bogged down in a big way in the middle.

I agree with so many other reviewers about the credibility of many glowing reviews of self-published books. Although I was extremely eager to read this book based on a premise that definitely piqued my interest, I must say that reading it was a total letdown. More power to all readers who enjoyed the story, as that is all that counts in a personal opinion. However, IMO, the characters were one-dimensional and flat. Trite dialogue did little to sustain interest in a not-so-cute-meet that simply fizzled. Didn't care about the h or H, and the pizza delivery setup just wore thin. I realize the author put her heart and soul into writing this book, but the execution was sub-par. I'm being generous with two stars because I didn't want to drag down the hard effort and overall rating of a first-time author, but the story was not good.

Read with Kindle Unlimited

The book was suggested to me on the store and for whatever reason, the title called to me. Yeah, the half naked guy in a towel also called to me, but mostly the title ;)

In a romance novel, I love it when the two characters have an adorable meet-cute, as well as the meeting being something unique and/or possibly never told before. I have read hundreds and hundreds of romance novels and I never once read one where the two characters meet by one of them being a pizza delivery person. This alone made me want to read it! And I'm glad I did, cause this book was awesome!

I'm amazed that it was the debut novel. It's so well written, the character development is spot on and the HUMOR! This book is SO FUNNY! The meet-cute was hilarious and the next few times that they meet, were also laugh-out-loud funny!

The heroine has a unique dream (at least to romance novel heroines) of wanting to be a stand up comedian. My only critique of this book is that I wish that she had of written in some of Andi's stand up jokes! She had two or three scenes of Andi having shows but she'd basically fade out and then fade back in after the show was over. Ms. Kate can obviously write comically so I would have liked to have had her write some actual scenes of the stand up comic doing stand up!

This is labeled as a sports romance, but the hero, who is a hockey player, never actually plays in the book as it's off season. But that's okay, as I didn't need descriptions of him playing hockey. Ryan was a great hero. Almost Prince Charming perfect. Him and Andi were perfect together and the chemistry was making my kindle screen steam up!

There's three sex scenes, not super descriptive but not tame either. There's heavy petting and kissing described. Some swearing, but not an overwhelming amount (uses of the F word and Sh word used more than any other). No violence.

If you're a fan of Penny Reid, R.S. Grey and Alice Clayton, I bet you'd enjoy Delivery Girl!

Ryan and Andi’s HEA tale of smiley face pizzas, a smitten hockey player, and a hilariously charming delivery girl is a winner! Andi is kind of a the worse delivery girl in the world - but to be fair if you showed up to deliver a pizza and the delivererees were knocking boots and then one of them answered the door in the a towel and it just so happens to be like the hottest guy in the world you might not handle it so gracefully either. But when he calls for another pizza she's once again has to face these people… why her? When she gets there after somehow managing to crashing into his car, she is once again confronted with the hockey God (at least this time he's fully dressed) and is baffled when he is not only delighted to see her but genuinely excited and wants to see more of her. Her Andi Peretti - pizza delivery girl, struggling comic, and future accountant. Ryan is in town hoping to take the transition from the a small pond to the big show. Unfortunately, that means he has to align himself with an agent with certain rules when it comes to single players and dating-  as in don't do it. For some crazy reason the Ice Queen has guidelines in place to keep her clients on the right track and keeping them “focused” and this is one of them. Ryan doesn't really see this as an issue as he's a freeagent as it were, but it still grinds his gears that this lady feels she can dictate his life. Ryan never expected that ordering a pizza would be so life altering until he opens the door and finds Andi standing on the other side. The funny, beautiful, and smart Andi is everything you could possible want in a woman. She driven and has goals and understands that he too has things he wants to do. Why oh why did he have go and fall so hard so fast right now! Ryan will have to make a really hard choice - the big show or Andi. And to think he just wanted a sausage pizza!

Andi Peretti is the delivery girl for Peretti's Pizza, a family owned pizzeria in LA. She has dreams of being a comedienne, but if her dad has it his way, she'll be an accountant once she finishes her courses this semester. Andi is having a bit of a dry spell, so it's just her luck when she discovers a half naked hockey player on her latest delivery.

Ryan Pierce plays for the Minnesota Stars, but is crashing at his brother's house in LA in hopes of making connections to be transferred to play for the LA Lightning. Ryan is making big changes in his life and isn't needing the distraction that he finds on the other side of the door when his pizza is delivered. But Ryan can't help himself from calling Peretti's Pizza for another Smiley Face Pie just to see the perfect disaster that is the Delivery Girl.

I have to give it a few days before I call Peretti's again, otherwise I'll be in the stage-five-clinger zone.

Ryan isn't used to having to work for a girl, but Andi's not quite sure what Ryan's intentions are. The chemistry between them is undeniable. They instantly have a connection that both want to explore further, but to what capacity? A friendship? A one night stand? Maybe even something a little more?

Ryan is relentless and starts to abuse his powers of ordering enough pizzas to capitalize Andi's nights at work. All of which her father is down with...as long as he keeps ordering those pies....

Dad: A very nice man called asking for my permission to invite you in for a poker night, and then he tipped the company two hundred bucks. You'll go and you'll play that poker game, do you understand me?
Me: Dad, are you pimping me out for pizza?

I completely fell in love with Ryan and Andi!! Not only are these two incredibly funny, but they are adorable and complement each other perfectly.

He texts me horrible jokes to use for stand-up, and I text him back offering awful hockey advice. It sounds stupid, but... it's our thing.

But what I loved just as much was the close knit family connections that both main character's had. It made the book feel deeper, more familiar. Andi's relationship with her dad was beautifully developed and made me tear up. Seeing Ryan's family embrace Andi was so heartwarming to see. I loved how everyone was rooting for them to push pass their second guesses and vulnerabilities. There are a few obstacles for them to climb, so it's not all smooth sailing for these two.

I was really surprised that this was Lilly Kate's first novel. I loved the entire premise of this book and was pleasantly surprised that it was more than what I expected. Kate did a wonderful job developing both main characters, but her side characters were fantastic as well! This is a group that I want to know more about! The flow was fantastic and the writing style was relaxed, but intriguing. I loved Andi's voice throughout. Her doubts were realistic and not annoying. I could relate to her.

I'm more than excited to see where Lilly Kate goes after this! Don't hesitate to one-click ladies! You'll be fighting over the charming Ryan Pierce in no time!

Delivery Girl is an incredible fun, flirty, and sexy debut romance from Lily Kate. This romantic comedy takes a hockey star and pizza delivery girl / comedienne and mixes it with a bit of a fake romance, that is never really a fake romance to start with, to make for one brilliant read that is highly recommended to any romance fans out there.

Told from dual points of view, Andi and Ryan have an incredible chemistry that is clear with their instant attraction, despite the embarrassment surrounding their first meeting. Both characters were really sweet and likeable, Andi especially with her quirky personality. Ryan, for a hockey player, was very down to earth and relatable rather than a cocky and arrogant sports star as is often seen. There were some great sub-characters who really added to the book in both developing Ryan and Andi as well as supporting the plot. The steady pace of the book allowed for good development of the two characters and their relationship.

Delivery Girl had a good steady flow and was written in a brilliantly witty style that clearly captured both the light heartedness of the book as well as the slightly more emotional tones when required. The book had a unique plot that was fairly light hearted but with enough tension and drama to keep things ticking along and a great epilogue to tie up everything relating to Andi and Ryan’s story. Delivery Girl is steamy but not over the top; added a sexiness to the story and characters but never distracted from the plot.

I was thoroughly impressed with this debut romance and can’t wait to read more from Lily Kate in the future. Definitely recommend this book.

4 Smiley Face Pizza Stars!!

Lily Kate, your debut book is awesome. I loved it. Just loved it. Hockey, hotties, witty banter, jokes and all, you rocked your first book!

I'd never heard of Lily Kate before a few days ago. Neither have you, probably! Well, this is your sign! You've been told! Get this book!

Ryan is a hot shot hockey stud wanting to make his mark and get traded to LA. He loves Minnesota, but he's looking for a chance for some major wins! And LA is where it's at. His chance at the cup.

He never thought Ordering a smiley face pizza would turn his world up side down, but it did when beautiful, funny, pizza delivery girl, Andi knocks on his door. She's a stand up comic vying for new gigs and a steady income-she loves her family and her friends. Helping her dad out delivering pizza for his shop is just for some tips, until she comes face to face with THE RYAN PIERCE.

What's that saying? The rest is history? Well folks, it was.
Light on the drama, packed with a hilarity punch, crossed with sexy times that will curl your toes and you have a hit with DELIVERY GIRL.

Sign me up for her next book!!

I thoroughly loved this book. The characters were charismatic and funny yet at times made me want to bang their heads together but I am sure that was part of the overall charm of the book.

Poor Andi, the pizza delivery girl, has to deliver a pizza to the sexy as all get-out Ryan Pierce, hockey star. From the moment she arrives at his home, she turns into a walking Disaster. But then I suppose when you arrive at a house and not only hear sounds but see love making going on through the windows and then Ryan Pierce opens the door wearing nothing but a towel things are bound to go wrong, right? And poor Ryan, expecting his normal pizza kid sure wasn’t expecting to find a gorgeous woman like Andi delivering his pizza and acting embarrassed. From that moment everything starts to take a crazy turn. Both feel the attraction but neither are in a place in their lives for a steady relationship. They try to act indifferent to one another which sets off a hilarious chain of events that you just don’t want to miss. 2 thumbs up for this wonderful book that will have you laughing out loud one minute, drooling over their thoughts the next and wanting to shake Andi and Ryan from time to time. This is an Awesome book and I look forward to book 2 in the Minnesota Ice series.

What a fantastic and funny sports romance. And a great debut novel for this author. In it you have Ryan and Andi, two people brought together by pizza at a terrible time for both of them. But despite the timing and a few awkward first impressions, they feel a spark that can't be denied. As they continue to get to know each other, that spark grows, but they still have obstacles that might tear them apart.

I totally loved Ryan. He was this wonderfully sweet guy who just struck all the right cords with me. He wasn't full of himself and he wasn't a jerk. He was a good guy with a great family, who had hopes and dreams that present a problem for him and Andi.

Andi was a strong willed and strong minded woman working for her dad's pizza place to put herself through college. But her deam job was something I haven't come across previously in a romance novel's leading lady. I loved the building relationship between her and Ryan and that she certainly wasn't just throwing herself at him. I also loved her loyalty to her friend and family even when it would have been easy to put the guy first.

This was just a great series startrer and debut, and I can't wait to see what this author comes out with next.

This is a sweet, romantic book by Lily Kate.
The main characters in this book are Andi and Ryan. Andi works with her dad who owns a pizza shop. She bakes and delivers pizzas.
Andi delivers a pizza to Ryan who is a professional ice hockey player. Ryan is staying with his brother and his fiancé. When Andi brings the pizza to Ryan, he answers the door in nothing but a towel. They are immediately attracted to each other and poor Andi has one mishap after another. She's clumsy and adorable and Ryan notices how special she is from the start.
Andi is about to graduate college and she also is trying to launch a career as a standup comic.
Ryan is trying to decide if he wants to go back home to Minnesota or play in LA where Andi lives. There is a plot line where Ryan is trying to decide if he is signing on with a new agent who is known as the Ice Queen. ( sorry, no spoilers here!)
I have read my fair share of sports romances, and went into this one a little skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised! It has a great epilogue too!
It's a cute, sweet, light read. I am looking forward to reading future books by Lily Kate.

Five Amazing Stars

I was so completely excited and thrilled to receive this amazing new first series, Minnesota Ice. From a completely new and exciting author Lily Kate. For the most hilarious and enjoyable sexy experience ever!

Andi and her father run a family style eatery in town. Called Papa Peretti. A close business for their family -members. Including her relative, Angela who has a very strong resemblance to the cast of Jersey Shore, spaying her herself so constantly an awful colour orange.

As she was making a pizza for another customers girlfriend. Angela teased Andi convinced that could never happen to to her. Poor Andi, she never wanted to be apart of the abrupt conversation between her father and Angela. She left to then deliver the food.

I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic comedy. Just so deliciously hilarious and absolutely loved all these most wonderful characters so dearly. I loved it. Well done. I just can't wait for the second book now. I loved it!!

* I recommend this book to everyone!!
