Blackberry Summer (Hope's Crossing)

I enjoyed this book. I usually read Debbie McComber, Fern Michaels, Susan Wiggs, Sherryl Woods, or Nora Roberts. the store always sends me titles of books I might like and Blackberry Summer was one such title. I decided to try it and have now found another author I like. I plan on buying more of RaeAnne Thayne's books.

I really enjoyed the way the writer did this book. It held my attention so much so that I just wanted to finish it and find out the outcome of the story. I would love to to rate all books I read the way I rated this one.

Could not finish. This book was definitely not clean! The hero swears in about every scene plus uses crude sexual talk.

I did not like him and his ridiculous continuous pondering over how he wasn't good enough for the heroine and how she deserved better.

She wasn't any more likeable and was a total door mat to her detestable mother, and dog of an ex husband. Too many unlikeable characters in this book. She was one of those TSTL women!

Then an explicit fore-play scene, at about 82%,and that's where I stopped, I had had enough!

I loved Snow Angel Cove the first book in the Haven Point trilogy which 'WAS' clean , and plan to read the second book, but not sure I will read any more of these in the Hope's Crossing series.
