For those wishing to understand the psychological affect slavery had on the African American, this is a must read. A great start at understanding the art of deception used in the control of not only slaves but of a people.

I think that this pamphlet was very interesting. It's amazing to know that it was a chain letter supposedly. However the speech was actually implemented throughly by several White Americans. I think that this is a good read because it is informative about what actually happened to the African Americans when they were brought to America. I believe that it is helpful to know the truth regardless of how historically accurate it is. I mean Gone with the Wind won several oscars and none were for accuracy but for the information and performance. I would like for any historian or so called historian to show me where this speech is untrue! People love to argue, but you just can't argue with truth.
The truth is Black people were brought to America to be Slaves. There had to be some guidelines to follow. But yet again some of us are still brainwashed. Very sad.

This book shed light on how slave owners viewed darker complexed human beings. This letter was well written and it provided in depth knowledge regarding a slave owner. This book gave you a clear visual on how another human being terribly treated human beings for the sake of their own selfish gain. Everyone of color must read this book.

Reading this was a little more interesting than I had anticipated it would be. Basically a Making Slaves for Dummies Book. It's and eye opener to how low we, as black men and women, were on the totem pole. Our bodies were indispensable and minds feared.
