31 Days toward Trusting God

This book challenges the believer to acknowledge their spiritual bankruptcy and rely solely on God's grace. The author does an excellent Job of helping the reader understand that true grace is not complacent , it is dependence on the Holy Spirit. This is a must read.

This is a very good book about the transforming, gap-filling grace of God. What a relief it is to know that we don't have to be perfect! Because we can't be! God's grace is sufficient to cover any amount of mistakes. He loves us so infinitely!

I purchased this book for my small group at church. Although I haven't had the chance to dig into it all the way just yet, I have heard nothing but great things about it. I can not wait to get started.

Jerry Bridges does an excellent job at communicating, teaching and reminding the reader of the faithfulness of our Sovereign God. He who began the work of our salvation will finish it ( our sanctification) and He finished our salvation on the cross.

This book addresses many of the questions I had relating to grace. The analogies and illustrations are very approppriate and useful. It is also compelling and practical as it eventually gets to how to apropriate God's grace in our lives. Loved it and highlighted many usable parts.

I loved Jerry Bridges' book Trusting God and so when I saw this, I had to get it. The book is smaller than the average book and compact, which makes it easier to slip into my work bag. The chapters are a little over a page long.
Jerry Bridges wrote in such a simple way, so it's easy to understand what he was trying to convey. Even though the chapters are short, they are powerful and full of a ton of encouragement and truth.
I highly recommend getting this for yourself! It would also make a great gift :)

...for any Christian. It doesn't matter which way you lean on the doctrines of grace (Calvinist, Arminian), this book clearly and concisely articulates the power of grace in the Christian's life. Bridges' writing style is very reader-friendly, and he can make even the most difficult concepts easy to understand. Highly recommended.

As is his character, Jerry Bridges brings us into focus to view not ourselves, but the God who designed and loves us. While it's on the nature and promises of God that we dwell, we lose such consuming absorption with ourselves and are able to trust, believe and act upon the grace that God has already given us.

This is a wonderful book! Bridges does such a great job explaining the true meaning of grace and how to teach it. I think in our churches we have gotten away from teaching and we don't teach it because we live if fear of how people might respond to it. I want to help the church learn what it means to live in grace daily. This book is changing my life.

It has helped some people that have been struggling personally and encouraged their walk with the Lord and encourage them not to give up in the difficult times of life. What a great God and a great Savior we serve!

Growing in Grace is essential to walk in the Spirit. Jerry Bridges will challenge you to review your faith position and walk in Holiness. Full of Scripture and Biblical truth. I would suggest every believer to read and STUDY this book once a year. We are all pron to wander but this book will keep you on track with a greater knowledge of the gospel and HIS free gift called GRACE. My suggestion is to buy the study guide along with the book and go through it with several other believers. Your spiritual growth will leap. Thank you Jerry!
