Christian Living
Review:This book was beautifully written. It touches on the human soul. It gives a better understanding of some of the things we have not yet considered.
The life in the day of those who care for us in our times of grief and need.
I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to more writings by Caleb Wilde. Bravo! Read more
Review:I have only read like 1/6 of the book and I think it's great!! It explains the marriage and relation between a man and a woman in such a good and easy way. It is based on the more important book - the Bible, and does not try to hide anything by explaining the Bible in English but explains the important words in the original language - Hebrew. I have always wondered about translations, and when I read my Bible (in Swedish) I wonder what God actually said and what the original language says.

Review:I can't believe I didn't read this book sooner than at the age of 28!! Mr. Angone has really honed in on what it is to be in your 20's and actually living or the feeling that you aren't living at all. Mr Angone has so many golden nuggets in this book that it is hard to mention JUST ONE. This is a book that I will be referencing for a while, but also a book that I will give to all high school graduates. He is very honest and transparent throughout this book and his life experiences truly navigate... Read more
Review:Tindell Baldwin I would say is quite brave to share her story. It's not easy to open up about past mistakes and really share your heart with people, so they gain insight into how badly mistakes can rattle our life. Considering her target are teens I think she expresses herself very well. I can imagine that her story will impact many teens and help even those who have made mistakes and may feel bogged down by them. That was honestly my favorite thing about Baldwin, she doesn't just focus on the p... Read more
Review:About the Book:
In this uplifting book, Holley Gerth invites readers to sit down with her to be filled with the strength, peace, and joy that come from God's promises to us. Each of the 52 devotions based on the Psalms will help weary women remember that God is good and we're all in this together. Whether it's a bad hair day or a broken heart, Holley offers hope and encouragement to get us through whatever life brings.
Women need that kind of encouragement because we all have hard ... Read more
Review:Only 3 stars because this book really needs to be sold as a set with the DVD that goes with the study. I was hoping for a personal study on prayer that had references to the movie - it is really a study book where you watch a scene & then work through the study. I can still do it because I have the movie, but it wasn't what I was expected. Read more
Review:What brought me to this Book, One Month to Live. We had it as our sermons in Church and, found it very enlighting. It hit me pretty much at home as, have a family member that has just about the title of the book to live. Do I give it to him? I think not. What with being 49 years old, chemo sickness etc., I think not. He is reading the Bible but, afraid to die? Lots to think about here. Read more
Review:Not very thick so I am sure I will get through it faorly quickly. I hope that it has some great tips throughout it. The secret/chaprer names seem interesting. Looking throughout it the author gives you cleaning products you can make at home and ideals of what a person can do according to your personality to give back. Can't wait to read it. Read more
Review:Basically a repeat of everything I've read on the blog, at least in message. I don't read his blog often either. Less arrogant than other minimalists although he has a religious bent that may be bother some. Read his blog first, or any blogger/author to see if their style appeals to you, or check your library. I found I remove this book from my house with no trouble at all. Read more
