I know many people are fond of Agatha Christie books but it sure took a lot of patience to get into the story line. I really had to force myself on reading this book at it really took me twice as long to read it as normal. About 3/4 into the book the pace and mystery picks up but I found it very slow. If you like action packed thriller mysteries, this really isn't for you.

I was unsure whether or not I would enjoy reading murder in retrospect, but I really did. The story is great. And, as always, Miss Marple trusts no one and is always present significantly. Great read!

I'm an Agatha Christie fan. I always enjoy reading about Miss Jane Marple and her adventures. My only complaint is that Miss Marple didn't figure prominently enough in the story line for my taste. Good read though.
A Miss Marple Mystery (Miss Marple Mysteries Book 4) :: The Bone Doll's Twin (Tamir Trilogy, Book 1) :: Luck in the Shadows (Nightrunner, Vol. 1) :: Black Skin Privilege and the American Dream :: A Miss Marple Mystery (Miss Marple Mysteries)

As usual the Queen of Crime didn't disappoint with a great mystery no matter how many times I read this book I stll managed to find more twists than a country lane with Miss Marple strolling down unraveling as she goes great !!

Love Miss Marple! She reminds me of my great-aunts Ruth and Dora, two little old Victorian ladies who were just as sweet and cynical. Aunt Ruth lived in a retirement high-rise in Atlanta, and whenever we went to her house for supper when I was a little girl, she would tell us about the mysteries of the retirees. She was actually the one who gave me my first Agatha Christie novel, a copy of "Postern of Fate. Because of her I have read and re-read all of Christies books multiple times. You just can't go wrong with Miss Marple.

Sleeping Murder is a wonderful Miss Marple mystery. It has an eerie feeling, set in a wonderful English house. I read this one time and time again, and I never tire of it. I also bought the DVD version with Joan Hickson as Miss Marple, and it was very well done. The story reminded me of the black and white movie, "The Uninvited," which I love and also bought the DVD.
I consider this book my very favorite!

I have always loved Agatha Christie's Miss Marple character and this mystery lives up to her standards. It is a very enjoyable read with just enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. I would give it 5 stars, but I reserve that designation for books that touch me deeply and stay with me for a long time.

I love Agatha Christie and she does not disappoint in this mystery! I listened to the audio version as I was driving and I was thoroughly intrigued with the story, with the characters that were developed and with the twists and turns throughout.
