The Little Red Hen (Little Golden Book)

Arrived timely and in good condition. I always liked this story and owned this Little Golden Book as a child and still can remember my mother reading this book to me. I thought my great niece would enjoy it too.

Bought this book for two year old grandchild to add to her library. All four of our children still remember this story when they were little and it is a basic value lesson. Our grandchild enjoys this story.

Great Example to teach children the value in working for what you get, and not expecting others to do it for you and hand over the fruits of their labor! I read this as a first grader myself, and got it for my grandchildren.

The Little Red Hen was one of my favorite childhood stories some seventy years ago! My love of this story was surely a factor influencing a lifelong 'make it happen' approach, rather than a 'no help/no hope' mindset...

A children's classic, this book remains a favorite for a life time. A great way to share the importance of perseverance and preparation with children and a great reminder for us adults (especially as our world re-creates itself.)
