I have read most of the Temperance Brennan novels. I did not find that this one lived up to the other novels. It was just ok for me. I found it a bit long and then the story unravelled in the last few pages. I missed the Detective Ryan character in the book. I find that he gives Temperance spunk and more character.

All of Reichs' books are good. This one introduces a "different" theme and does not disappoint by preaching or trashing it. An intelligent exploration of the Wiccan theme. The murder seems almost incidental.

I will have to say that I prefer her books to the TV productions where I tend to get lost with all the personalities.
