Post apocalyptic story, women have become extremely rare, sometimes a commodity to be sold.
The story of Audrey, and her five husbands includes a lot of action, drama, plenty of sex!
Fun story, looking forward to the next one!

I loved this book ... when it was called The Wife Lottery, by Charlie Hart and Chantel Seabrook. And The Wife Lottery didn't end at the 50% mark so the author could steal extra Kindle Unlimited page reads from other authors.
Two thumbs down here.

This book was a lot of firsts for me. My first reverse harem romance. My first book by Stasia Black. My first audio narrated by Smokey St. Clair. Honestly, I was very pleasantly surprised. The book was a sexy, entertaining, and easy read/listen that kept me wanting more.
The book takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where there is only 1 woman for every 12 men. The story revolves around Audrey and her 5 husbands. Yes, there's some Stockholm syndrome and the story was fairly predictable, but I still found it enjoyable. It was crazy hot and has definitely made me want to read more reverse harem books, but I will admit that there's some logistical parts with 1 woman having sex with 5 men that had me cringing a bit. I actually liked all of Audrey's husbands, but Matteo's story is the one that stuck with me the most. There were definitely some heartbreaking moments in this book. The pacing of the story was good, though some aspects of the story moved/resolved quickly, especially the ending. Overall, I enjoyed this one and the epilogue (from a surprise point of view!) set up the next book perfectly.
I thought the narrator did a great job giving each character a distinct voice and I didn't have a hard time figuring out who was speaking. I think the only odd thing about the narration was his pronunciation of the word "bravado". Overall though, I thought Smokey St. Clair did an amazing job and look forward to listening to more of his titles.

Post apocalyptic, dark and whoa, and I mean REAL Whoa.
So you have Audrey in a lost time after bombs and a virus that killed most of the female human population. She ends up in a little community of the after, looks pretty nice from the outside, until all women end up being the prize of a bride lottery for five men: Mateo, the broken spirit; Clark, the playboy; Graham, the autistic geek; Danny, the big teddy bear (not the sharpest knife in the drawer); (Phoe)Nix, the cold-hearted beast. Well, aside from the bride lotto, everyone seems to have a place. It's quiet, quaint, the typical Mayberry of the reverse harem world. In any case, not all is what it seems on the surface. It goes much deeper.....
... but apparently not too deep because it's still a shallow novel with little depth. It's awesome yhe characters have backstories, and we catch a glimpse of the growing affection between our lovers, but it is lacking. Combined with the plentiful grammatical errors, and gere we go. 3 star rating, could have been a 4.

I received an Advance Reader Copy for THEIRS TO PROTECT: A Reverse Harem Romance written by Stasia Black and voluntarily reviewed this book. This is the current situation of the Earth as it now stands: utterly decimated, thanks to the efforts of a terrorist group followed by a nuclear war, referred to collectively as “The Fall,” where women are at the top of a list of the most prized & hottest commodities.
Audrey flees with her brother from her uncle’s bunker, realizing they have learned all they could from him and in doing so, have drastically outstayed their welcome, heading towards Nomansland - only they end up in yet another, even grimmer situation. Audrey is found and taken away to Jacob’s Well Township and then raffled off much like a prize to a group of 5 men, who will now become her husbands in a new dystopian settlement. While Audrey gets to know her husbands-to-be, she never forgets the promise made to herself and to her brother, even while she is currently “detained” by her situation. But with the cold-hearted and unforgiving truth of life on the planet as it is reduced to currently, there are still hidden dangers lurking, some closer to home than others, for every female left. So perhaps, just maybe, she did find herself the place she can finally fit, in this dog-eat-dog dystopian world.
Bleak & grim but highly engaging world created, with the perfect blend of character vs. relationship development to flesh out this story. And sexy-hot, of course! You get a great sense of Audrey and all her individual men, who all have their own stories worth telling. One or two will pull at your heartstrings more than the others.

Wow, what a ride !!
Theirs to Protect by Stasia Black is a scorching hot romance novel set in a dystopian , postapocalyptic world.
Theirs to Protect is the tragic, funny, beautiful and at the same time "real" story and I greatly enjoyed reading this story.
10 years ago a virus released by eco-terrorists decimated the worlds female population of 90 %.
Audrey Dawson is one of the few survivors. She grew up sheltered and secluded. Now she's on her way to a woman's recluse, accompanied with her brother. Both get ambushed and while Audrey gets rescued, her brother is left behind for dead.
Only Audrey comes from worse to not much better. She lands in a commune where a woman has to marry 5 men. She's obstinate, feisty and rebellious, but the men wear her down bit by bit.
Let me tell you, I greatly enjoyed reading this story. The characters are great and I easily connected witzhn them. The men are very different, there's the shy pleaser, the eager puppy and the alpha hole one.
Stasia Black is a new author to me and I'm so glad I gave this book a try. I give 5 glorious stars and can't wait to read the next story in the series.

Only commenting on “Theirs to Protect.” - my book download included an extra book
TTP - The setting and storyline is dystopian, not my favorite genre. To much gloom and doom. The authors avoids that aspect for the most part. However, the MFL is standoffish and abrasive almost the entire book - she annoyed me. The guys are interesting and different from one another. Most of the time, they try to help her but she’s to much “woo me” and untrusting to notice it. There is no give in her at all, no compromise. I would have enjoyed the book more if I had liked her more.

Not usually a great fan of Reverse Harem tropes but this for me really worked.
Maybe because it was set against a dystopian post-apocalyptic background I found myself much more willing to accept the unconventional arrangement.
The female population has been decimated by a man-made virus that has wiped out 90% of them. On top of this nuclear warfare has also further ravaged the world leaving behind a new age of violence and fear especially for the fairer gender.
Audrey and her brother and attacked while trying to reach a safe zone and Audrey herself finds herself tranqued by Nix who is head of security and then escorted unconscious back to town.
Upon awakening, Audrey finds herself the prize of a marriage lottery where all interested parties are welcome to put there name into a hat for the privilege of becoming one of her five husbands.
Yes, I kid you not five of them.
Well I suppose 1/5 of a wife is better than no wife at all
But what I essentially loved about this reverse harem offering is that Audrey's new potential husbands were not all your typical jock beefcakes, but each brought there own unique personality and separate flavour to the table.
We have Nix head of security protective, gruff, scarred and a bit of an ass.
Clark the smooth handsome charming ladies man.
Graham the resident smart Techie who is definitely on the spectrum.
Danny the buff sweet puppy dog.
Mateo Mr Fix It who has a dark past and just wants to serve Audrey in any way he can.
Together Audrey and her five husbands are Clan Hale; all taking Nix's name as he is the Alpha and head of there, new family.
Each Man was just so different and this was one of my most favourite aspects of "Theirs To Protect"
Each husband had his own distinct personality and wasn't your atypical romance hero.
This wasn't an especially dark read despite some recountings of past horrific misdemeanours but there was definitely some darker triggers; my level of dark is quite high so this for me was rather sweet.
Just to clarify though; there is no grey ground here when it comes to Audrey's boys everything here is totally consensual they all court her and treat her like a pampered princess.
There's only really Nix that gets a bit bolchy with her bratty antics.
My only complaints here was really Audrey herself I found her slightly annoying at times and if she had just opened up and talked about what was bothering her then things could have been resolved much sooner.
But I suppose their wouldnt really be a story then.
I also was a trifle shocked by her lack of visual grief over her brother's fate; I get she was trying not to think about it but she hardly gave him a second thought after arriving in town.
The only times she seemed to react here was when she was thinking about escaping.
But essentially at its heart, this was a really interesting read that I really did adore.
So uniquely different and a great start to a new series.
I accessed "Theirs to Protect" (The Marriage Lottery, #1) with my KU subscription.
All opinions are entirely my own.

Theirs to Protect is a thrilling post-apocalyptic read with a super-hot erotic element that packs an emotional punch and kept me glued to the pages from the very beginning.
Audrey and her men are strong, compelling characters with lots of sizzling chemistry. Each of the men have different personalities which adds to the difficulties of traversing this complicated relationship especially since the men not only have to convince Audrey to accept their relationship but they have to get used to sharing with each other. So the romance is a bit rocky with lots of emotional turmoil and problems to overcome which keeps readers guessing as to whether this relationship will reach that ‘happily ever after’ or not. Of course there is lots of steamy and electrifyingly hot encounters between Audrey and her new husbands that readers might want to keep a bucket of water close by… you know just in case your ereader starts to melt or you have a few hot flashes yourself.
This fast paced plot starts off with some sensitive action and proceeds to keep readers glued to the pages and hanging onto the edge of their seats as they deal escape attempts, difficulties of living in a post-apocalyptic world and of course bad guys and the author does a fantastic job of bringing it all to life with vivid imagery which ensures that the readers feel and understand the emotional impact of the story.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I was unable to determine if the author intends to write more stories in this intriguing post-apocalyptic world, but I would certainly want to read them if she does. The story held me captive from the very beginning and I am looking forward to reading more of Stasia Black’s work in the future.

"Reverse harem" is the new THING in the romance genre - and it seems like everybody's written one. And to be honest, it's hard not to make it all about the sex, more sex, and only the sex. Stasia Black has cracked the mold here, and shown us all how it's REALLY done. She's given us a grimly plausible dystopian future, filled with the kind of danger and degeneracy we well know humanity is capable of. Then she creates a cast of flawed and damaged men and women who might well represent the type of people who survive such a catastrophe, and move on to create the kind of survival-based lifestyle portrayed in her book. She makes it so damned REAL. Audrey is justifiably suspicious, stubborn to a fault, and wracked with a survivor's guilt that she hides behind anger and fierce independence. Her men carry the heavy scars of survival as well: Nix, whose drive to protect masks feelings of failure; Graham, who forces himself to stay focused with the bizarre comforting rituals of his OCD; Danny, whose dull-witted brute strength hides his wise and generous heart; Clay, who fights the descent into barbarism by focusing on honor; and heart-breaking Mateo, who survived by yielding to unthinkable abuse, yet never lost his empathy or the strength to stand up for others. Black's devastatingly beautiful characters make you believe that love does triumph over adversity, evil, and pain. This is an erotic, touching, and triumphant tale from an author who sees, and writes, from the heart. I'm voluntarily reviewing an ARC - thank you, Stasia Black - and I totally love and recommend this book.

Audrey is living in a dystopian, post apocolyps time where there are 12 men to each woman.
She finds herself in a town that seems to cherish each woman that enters there and the men
must be drawn in a contest to become one of 5 mates. Audrey's "husbands" are Nix, Danny,
Mateo, Clark and Graham. The men are individuals with pasts that made them the way they
are now but each man's personality is described well as is Audrey's. You see, 90 percent of
all the women of earth died due to a genetically engineered virus, so repopulating earth and
hopefully having more females born to these marriage just might save their world.
Hard feelings and secrets form the basis for the problems this marriage aka Tribe has and
they must all work together to make their family succeed. There is a bad group led by an
even worse leader, Jeffries, who is a threat to everything the township is trying to accomplish.
The character are described well and you feel for each one, whether it be love and understanding
or hate and disgust. Stasia Black did a great job of writing so the reader gets all the feels and
can root for the good guys while wanting the bad guy destroyed!
I enjoyed this story very much and hope to get to revisit the town and it's people again if the author
can see her way to bringing them back again in the story of some other characters we met in this
book, it would be a definite sale for me!

I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy. In a post-apocalyptic future, most woman were killed by a virus and a lot of Texas population was erased by nuclear bombs in Houston and Dallas. Audrey and her brother Charlie left the relative safety of her uncle's bomb shelter for a woman's island called Nomansland. to keep Audrey safe. unfortunately they were attacked and Charlie was killed. She ran from the attackers after shooting one and getting her gun shot from her hand. She was rescued by some men in a field near the new border of one territory from another. They took her to the relative safety of their town, after shooting her with a tranquilizer gun. She was taken to Jacobs Well, where according to the Commander in charge, women are protected, not raped or sold off, people help each other, have a food pantry and are trying to overcome the hardships of losing the electrical grid and modern conveniences. She is supposed to become the wife of five men, Phoenix (Nix) who shot her with the tranquilizer gun, Clark who used to be attorney, now supply coordinator for the town, Mateo, now a Mr. Fix-It, Danny who is the strong man and Graham who is computer whiz where internet is now very scarce commodity. Audrey is determined to escape...but is now being wooed by these five prospective bridegrooms and knows there is a bad element in this supposed utopian town....but you will have to read the book to see what happens and if Audrey does marry or can she get to her fabled Nomansland....

In post-apocalyptic America Audrey needs to get to the one place that's safe for a woman. Before she can get there, her team is savagely attacked. She runs for her life only to be found and held against her will in a protected settlement, Central Texas South. After Xterminate killed the majority of females, women are a rare occurrence. Central Texas South runs a lottery where 5 men are chosen for every available female. Guess who's next? Audrey...
Audrey's five men are:
Nix: tough, strong, and head of the Security Squadron
Graham: nerdy, good with what tech is left, and OCD with numbers
Danny: young, muscular, and sweet
Mateo: extremely handy at repairing things, Audrey's servant & biggest fan
Clark: sexy, womanizer extraordinaire
Theirs to Protect was... WOW! It was one of those books you can't put down, but you're afraid to find out what happens next. Believe me, I was up until 3:30 am at one point. This story has layers. Many layers. It's told mainly from the POV of Nix and Audrey, but you get a very good sense of each of her 5 men. Audrey learns even if you're safe in the settlement there are still dangers lurking.
Not your typical Reverse Harem romance, Theirs to Protect is a roller coaster ride of action and emotion. 4 shining stars!!
This book contains violence and adult themes. Mature readers only.

Not my chosen genre but this was a seriously well scripted & steamingly hot post apocalyptic reverse harem full length book which captivated me &, but for power outages, (only in South Africa!), I would have read it in one sitting, it was that compelling. The characters were seriously troubled & flawed from their respective ghastly experiences but they had survival instincts which helped them to bond in this upside down world where the norm no longer existed. Very few women survived & the heroine was rescued from certain death & brought to a place of safety, but was it really? It was the new norm so in no time she was married to 5 men but instead of becoming their slave they were slaves to their virgin wife & her amazing sexuality. It was a place of healing for all of them & beyond hot as they all shared & cared without too much jealousy. This feisty brave heroin was under threat from other men though & she realised her husbands might suffer so she decided to run away to a place she thought to be safe. Wont spoil the storyline but she was reunited with her brave husbands who obviously managed to put their piece of the world to rights & I just hope there's another book in the offing.

First of all, got to say, this book surprised me. I knew it was a RH story and that involved 5 men and 1 woman in a relationship and having read few others books in this genre , I was sort of expecting the usual narrative. Well folks, there is nothing typical about Theirs To Protect .
This is a compelling, highly original, thought provoking, engrossing tale of what ifs . What if we attack each other and in the process almost destroy the female race, the power grid and everyday life as we know it? What are the consequences? How we deal with aftermath? How repercussions affect us and our decisions and behavior?
Stasia Black convincingly/skillfully/swiftly/accurately writes a story that will take you into an adventurous, entertaining , passionate, compelling and intense roller coaster of emotions and situations; as well as, not letting you break free of it until the last pages of the book.
Reading this book was a pleasure; and even though, it's advertised as an standalone with a HEA , that it is ( a very satisfying one ) and there are not cliffhangers; it's my opinion the author left the door open for future books. A good thing in my eyes, as the story line is very creative and unconventional.
I voluntarily review an ARC of this book for my honest opinion.

I really really wanted to give this five stars.
The character development was really amazing! I felt like each person was a person and not a slightly different character or not two dimensional. I cannot rave enough about the characters.
The plot and subplots were also amazing! And that twist at the end took me by complete surprise but wasn’t unrealistic! This author is VERY talented.
That being said...
the point of view changes between first person and narrator a lot. It’ll take you right out of the story. There were several times it made me go back and verify who’s pov I was reading from. I get that there’s a lot of hes in this story but it was just as confusing to handle it this way.
Also a lot of the conflict was from choosing not to communicate. And that’s entertaining to read for maybe a third of the book but not the whole thing. It’s a little much when the biggest problem isn’t the villain but the characters unwillingness to communicate. There’s a few parts where you think they’ve over come that and you give a sigh of relief and dive right back in eager to see what happens next just to realize that they’re still struggling with the same issue when you’re almost through with the book as they were in the first chapters.
Over all amazing though! I am definitely going to be reading the next book!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my 4th book by the author and she is quickly becoming one of my favorites! In a post genetically engineered virus and nuclear war, Audrey and her brother are trying to find sanctuary at a women’s haven. While escaping from the men who killed her brother, Audrey literally falls on Nix who tranquilizes her to get away from the attack. Audrey finds herself in a colony where women are paired with 5 husbands. Audrey tries to escape many times before the wedding, so when she seems complacent for the wedding, Nix knows something is up. But one night with Mateo, Graham, Danny, Clark and Nix and her husbands let their guard down. Audrey’s escape finds a wife being hit by her husband, whom she tries to convince to escape with her. Unfortunately, the woman’s husbands try to capture her so Audrey fires a shot to escape. Audrey’s husbands wake to the shot and know that she is trying to escape. Audrey is caught and so begins her post wedding life with her husbands and the enemy clan taunting her. Will Audrey escape the enemy clan’s taunts to the women’s haven or will she find love with her husbands? You have to read to find out.

I have never been interested in reading books about the post apocalypse that shares how we are to survive after the big bomb would drop or some virus swept the nation, but let me just say that I was captivated by this book from the beginning. This book is emotion, gripping and erotic all in one. Audrey is only one of many woman that have survived due to a virus that swept the nation that only affected woman. Having to leave a bunker that she shared with her uncle, but leaving with her brother. Saved by the security team from a town where men out number the woman and to marry have to be placed in a lottery where 5 men to one woman. Audrey fight to believe that these men will protect her and attempts to escape several ties, but then comes across a secret that she feels her men are not able to protect er from or themselves. All her men carry some kind of emotional baggage that they seem to be able to open up around Audrey.
If you like post apocalypse books or even like harem books. This would be a great read. Well written, that it will want you wanting to know more.
Which I hope there will be more about the town of Jacob's Well Township.

This book does so much right: the five "husbands" are distinct characters (not just a blur of men who have sex with the heroine, which I've found is a bit of a problem in reverse harem stories), the worldbuilding is fresh and well thought-out (I like post-apocalyptic settings and this one's well done), the characters are diverse (I particularly loved the inclusion of the husband who has autism). No one can quibble about the price: this is a huge amount of story for such a small price.
There are some typos, which distracted me from the flow of the story, but more that that, the heroine's sudden change of heart 2/3 of the way through really bugged me. Her husbands have all opened up to her, told her their deepest secrets, but she doesn't trust them with the fear that's driving her. I had trouble liking her after this point, and was happy for the HEA more for her husbands than for her.
I liked the glimpse of Shay and Charlie's story included in this book, so I'll be reading on.

Holy Sci-Fi!! Stasia Black's hit this one right outta the Galaxy...
I can only say, give me more, More, & I mean absolutely MORE of these Characters & their World!! I'm not sure if Stasia is planning on a series, with this as the opening volley, but I'm sure hoping so because this book has it all. There's a great plot, drama, love, intrigue, HOT Se*y times, & a HFN resolution with the current couple that also leaves questions unresolved with other characters so you just beg for MORE!! I love it! It's definitely a standalone, but it teases you with something more... Such a perfect start! (Definitely 18+ readers only please!)
I rarely give out the coveted 5 stars on a review, but I'm giving Stasia that honor for "Theirs To Protect;" it's just that good!!
I was lucky enough to receive "Theirs To Protect" as an ARC, but I'm happily recommending to others as it's an excellent read...Trust me, this is one book you'll want to One-Click for your library. Don't miss out! All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given.
Until next time... Happy Reading!

This is not a standard menage romance. There is a detailed plot, and I couldn't put this book down.
Audrey is living in a world where 90% of all women were killed by a virus. This means that women have become a possession to be fought over and controlled. Audrey and her brother are trying to get to a community where it is only women, but Charlie is attacked and killed. Audrey runs and is rescued by some men from Jacob's Well township. The commander has set the community up where names are drawn in a lottery to find five husbands for any women who is 20 or older. Audrey is set up with five men to make a clan. Unlike most places, they can take up to three months to settle into a relationship. The system is meant to protect the women.
Audrey still tries to get away to the community of women, but she doesn't get away. Then she discovers that not all are protected in the township. Will threats to her new family stop her exposing the wrongdoing?
This story was very different to the normal menage tale. A great read.

What a different take on a reverse harem that incorporates elements of a dystopian/post-apocalyptic society. I have read other books in this genre and the way they are combined in this story will have any reader absorbed from start to end. Enhancing the storyline is the relationship between the characters and how they grow and change as they struggle through the challenges they face. Audrey is one of the few women left after a deadly disease wiped out most of the females in the society. She is forced to leave her family with her brother under the guise of a female only colony where she can truly be safe. However, on her way to the colony, she is thrust into situations that leave her in a new place without anyone to help her. Making matters worse, is her new life is compelling her to marry five men. Will Audrey stay or will she try and escape? This is a wonderfully written story and I hope that the author has more planned.

Ahh a post apocalyptic world where once again, the females are scarce and the only way to ensure survival of the species is to ensure they are mated to at least 5 or more hot, hunky, ranging from young to ell seasoned men. Well for Aubrey she is not one to take this challenge sitting down, she wants to be free to choose and so sets off with her brother after an unfortunate incident in their last hideout. Unfortunately they are beset upon, but saved by another village with men who have morals, but she must now bend to the rules.
The author has done a good job in separating the men that Aubrey finds herself a wife to, they are all individual enough so that they shine on their own merits. I liked how they worked together to show her that the relationship can work. A well written story, even if it did take me a bit longer than usual to read.

Want to first thank the narrator of this story Smokey St. Clair, and the author Stasia Black for gifting me this audible book for a fair and honest review. This is the first time I have listened to a book by this author and the narrator I enjoyed both.
Story- Audrey lives in a dystopian world where 90% of the female population has deceased from a bio chemical virus. She is now a commodity to be raffled or sold off. Audrey hoping to get away from this madness is on the run trying desperately to get to a safe haven called Nomansland. Much to her dismay she is captured by a squadron of men taken to a township where she is to raffled to not one but five men.
But, guess what I’m not telling anymore, I’m just going to say I thought Nix was pretty hot and Audrey could have done a lot worse with the other four husbands she got, why did the silly girl think the pasture was going to be greener on the other side. Just sayin.

This dystopian reverse harem romance novel will stimulate and also provoke thought. It is an extraordinary piece of writing by Stasia Black. A brother and sister are in refuge with their uncle in Texas in a shelter from massive nuclear emp explosions compounded by terrorist released viruses which wipe out 90% of the female population. Escaping by motorcycle Audrey and Charley travel west heading for California but Charlie is killed by a gang and Audry is taken to Jacob's Well Township in Arizona a town held by the 'law' where Audrey is won in a lottery by five men including the security chief, Nix. The aim is to repopulate. Audrey resists wanting to escape but gradually comes around to liking the five men. The character descriptions are well done for each. The sex is steamy although the story takes precedence. Treachery and corruption with lust and greed rule. An involved and grim but fascinating world. Read this as an ARC and willingly reviewed.

Theirs To Protect by Stasia Black is a very erotic, dark romance about a reverse harem. It takes place in the future after 90% of the female population has been wiped out. Five men are chosen by lottery to create a family unit with 1 female. The world has become a very dark place. Women are in grave danger. I went into this book doubting that I would like it. I could not have been more wrong. This book was fantastic. There is intrigue, suspense and it is so freaking hot! I could not stop reading it! Stasia Black is at the top of my favorites list. She always sweeps me off my feet and has me falling in love with every book she writes.

I have not read many Post-Apocalyptic, dystopian type romances. The reverse harem theme is new for me – I have to say I have been shying away from these because of what I thought they’d be. Stasia did it right, I was drawn into this world where women are scarce and modifications in marriage are necessary. This was a very well-written, I enjoyed the multi-POV’s, the diverge group of Husbands, Audrey’s strong personality & feisty attitude and a story line that included hot-as-hell scenes that flowed easy and made sense.
I definitely recommend Clan Hale to readers, especially newbie reverse harem readers like me!

What I liked about the book was dystopian setting. And of trying to rebuild a community with the materials they had.
And the fact that the 5 guys weren’t friends, but were thrown together trying to build a family.
What I didn’t like was the main character. She was okay in the beginning but she turned into a selfish teenager more and more. I really didn’t why the guys were so into her.

No cliffhanger, no cheating, no M/M, plenty of steamy scenes and HEA!
Wow! This is the best reverse harem story I have read so far! In a future where women are rare, one community has adapted by creating family units where 5 men marry 1 women. Audrey finds herself pulled into this community unwillingly and must do everything she can to plot an escape while trying desperately not to fall in love with all 5 of her men.
I lived everything about this story! Each character was unique and real. I really hope the author continues writing in this world!

This was fantastic with beautifully written characters that will capture your heart. Audrey is fierce and so strong and just wants her independence and to flee to somewhere safe, I loved her attitude and being with her 5 men that she is to marry they each have their own personality each one different and Alpha in their own way which made the story so much better and hearing their POV and what they had endured and the feelings just melt your heart but wow they were super hot and dedicated one hundred present to Audrey. This was intence and thrilling with danger everywhere and I couldn't put it done.

This book is really something else. This is the first I read a book post-apocalyptic and it is surprisingly very good! I was never into those type of books, but I am glad I had the chance to read this one. The story and characters are something else. There is just not possible way not to fall in love with them. Kind of made me want Audrey's little harem. They were just truly perfect. And that epilogue!! Definitely a book worth reading! Am dying for the next one!

I LOVED THIS BOOK! Insane chemistry, suspense, and some action!
I really liked the post apocalyptic setting and what it added to the plot and the reasons for the reverse harems.
Nix was gruff and raw, Clark was confident, Mateo was thoughtful and sensitive, Danny was young and sweet, and Graham was quirky and lovable.
I found myself liking Audrey and how strong she was and then being frustrated with her decisions (although they were understandable). Together, the six of them were explosive!!

Audrey is attempting to make it to a sanctuary for women. But she has made it to a place where women are supposed to be cherished because there are not enough of them. She is the prize in a lottery for five men. Can she adjust to this new life or will there always be danger around her. Good reverse harem where her men first concern is her safety and happiness.

I was pleasantly surprised. The story had more depth and covered more than I expected it to without including irrelevant things or too much. It wasn't overloaded but it was varied enough to make sense and be well rounded. I'm a little upset that more books of this universe aren't already out, and I'm really excited for the June book. What is revealed in the epilogue is what I spent the whole book hoping for but not expecting, and it really made me happy. I look forward to June's book and more in the universe, including the great main characters of this book.

Dystopian romance is not normally my go to genre but I might have to change this because this book had me enraptured from the beginning. So often stories like this have no depth or world building but this in not the case in this book. The author did an amazing job explaining how they are restarting out to bringing life back to where it once had been. I appreciated that immensely. I also appreciated that she took the time to make each character "real" and how it is not just a change for the rare woman. I am a huge fan now. Looking forward to more of this series.

I agree with the reviewer who wrote that this odd story should come with trigger warnings. I have read other dystopian and/or reverse harem romances that I have enjoyed. This wasn't one of them. I was repulsed by the belting Audrey gave Mateo and after that, it was downhill the rest of the way. I don't equate pain with love or condone abuse at all. I tried to soldier on with the book for 30 more pages before I realized I didn't care to continue because I no longer cared what happened to them. A DNF @ 22%. Now on to read a good book to cleanse my palate.

I like the story , it was fast-paced , great love scenes . It's different from the post apocalypse stories I read before . The heroine Audrey is super great , she wants to get where she's going to Nomansland . She does everything in her power to try to escape , but finally she finds love . The only downfall to this book is the grammar . I found a lot of mistakes in some of the sentences . But I overlooked them . Stasia Black is a wonderful officer . I recommend this book you'll love it you'll cry the characters are awesome one super stubborn he's awesome . Just read the book and you'll fall in love with it too .

Wow! This book was amazing! All six characters (Audrey, Clay, Danny, Graham, Mateo, and Nix) are different in some ways but similar in others. They each are bringing some guilt and baggage to their new relationship. Steamy moments, suspense, drama, emotions, and strongly written characters, this one has it all. I couldn't put it down. If you're looking for a great story with an interesting concept, I definitely recommend giving this one a try.
