Marked by Pain (The Marked Series Book 2)

Predictable, lackluster, underdeveloped characters, poorly written. This book was tough to finish, the plot was so contrived and the characters very underdeveloped. The writing was sub-par, just very simple.

This series just keeps getting better and better!! I adored the first book in this series, and I loved this book, too!! This book does get steamier than the first book (and I'm super excited about that!!) I felt like we did get to know the characters a little better in this story, and while there were lots of twists and turns, this book moved along fabulously. It was full of action and drama and definitely kept the reader interested. This book is RH, which means lucky Kenzie will end up with several smoking hot dudes... no, she won't choose, so if that's not cool with you, this book probably won't be your jam. However, if you enjoy RH or are interested in RH, this is a great series to pick up. Five stars!

This book is spectacular! I am glad that Kenzie finally gets more time with her guys, albeit not how she had planned. And talk about a major cliffhanger! I don't know if I have the patience to wait for Book 3. These ladies have really outdone themselves!

This series is making its way closer and closer to the top of my fave books ever with each additional book that comes out. I love Cece Rose and G. Bailey on their own so I was sooo excited when I saw they would be writing together and man was I right. The characters are so interesting and complex and I love the way the different personalities work together. I also really like that we gradually find out more and more about the world the book is set in and it history, as I don't feel overwhelmed. I highly recommend this series and am anxiously awaiting the next installment.

My only frustration is we still don't know Mr. Daniels first name ?

What an adventure! Kidnapped from the Academy, Kenzie finds herself in a tough situation. It only gets worse when she finds out the depth of betrayal she's dealing with. She soon learns that things aren't always what they seem. Who can she trust? What happens when we finally found out about the 12th power?

I fell in love with this group in the first book and I've been dying to know what happens next. Now I'm dying to know what happens in the next one! lol Thats in a really good way though. So much happens in this book. We learn a lot and are still left with new questions. Ugh and Mr Daniels! I'm still hot for teacher even though he makes me so mad!!! They are all great but there's just something about Mr D!

Once again the authors Cece And Gemma have done it again ......the second book is amaze balls ? I loved it ......mr Daniels OMG ...and the twins ??........and as for East well........???? hot dam is all I can say .......the way they protect her and love is great , the plot takes hold of you straight away and your hooked from the first chapter ..( actually from the two pages ?) . I can't believe the cliff hanger they left us with ..".cant wait to find out what happens next " ❤️?

Another outstanding book by Rose and Bailey. Marked by Pain picks up right where book one finishes, thank the gods! Kenzie has been taken by the rebels but not all is as it seems. In this second installment Kenzie must face not only physical tribulations but an emotional journey marked with pain (see what I did there?). Relationships and alliances are tested and truths finally revealed. With these revelations comes an epic journey that lies in the pages of book three...I need it now!

I just love this series! This book might even be better than the first one. The story keeps getting better and more exciting. There’s so much intrigue and even the villains are getting better.
I love how the characters’ relationships are growing. And Kenzie has finally realized how important the guys are to her and she is to them.
And another big cliffhanger. On the edge of my seat waiting for the next book! Just love it!

Ahh!! This intriguing story continues and we get more! More heat, More action, More of the past! I absolutely love this series! Kenzie is still learning as she goes and after being kidnapped by the rebels she left not knowing who to trust! I was in the edge of my seat! It’s just so good! This one got a little emotional towards the end. I can’t wait to find out what happens now!

This book is a complete emotional rollercoaster. In this book we get even more invested in the amazing MC Kenzie and her men. Don't even get me started on those men!! I can't tell you how much I adore Kenzie, she is strong, badass and takes control. I love how this book keeps surprising me at every turn and with that ending.. I just have to have book 3 right now!

I’m loving this series Kenzie finds out her father is still alive while trapped in a facility and her guys come to rescue her and she finds out her fathers evil plan will she survive and save the world or will she be too late anxiously waiting

Easily a five star sequel to Marked by Power. Once you start, you won't be able to put it down as the hits just keep on coming. Total rollercoaster and... (mini spoiler alert) that cliffhanger killed me emotionally ?
