This book was very confusing but a good read. Thank you Katherine for not taking short cuts with this book. It was long but well worth the 2 days it took me to read it. I couldn't put it down, it was that good.

Props to the author for creating such a frustrating book. I never wanted to choke 2 characters more than Tally and Lincoln. A lot could of been avoided if they were just honest. This is a long book, but I prefer that than a cliffhanger.

Completely unexpected, complex, emotional. I couldn't put it down kinda mad I put off reading this for so long. The book could have five additional stars alone for the author making this just one book instead of a series, I don't mind a series but as long as the story line warrants it being a series which so many authors nowadays don't realize isn't needed.

A pretty good story, some parts were a little too unbelievable and made me say " bull shit", like...the characters were way too mature and rich for 17 and 18 year olds and when Linc turned up in Moscow at he same time as Tally I almost stopped reading the book! I'm like get out of here ugh! Too many coincidences make a story not realistic, I know this s fiction, but come on.

This was a long story, but well worth the read... I love Linc so much, what a romantic man..I loved Tally as well, but she got on my nerves from time to time through the book. It was very well written and very much worth your time to read....

Sometimes true love doesn't come easily. Life happens and sometimes it takes people in different directions. Sometimes that time apart makes all the difference!

Most romance stories have boy and girl meet, fall in love and have happily ever after. This is so back and forth it kept me going and wanting to find out how it was going to end.

5 stars for sure!!!

This book will really pull at your heart strings, although I do wish the author would NOT use such foul language!!! The characters are well developed and the story flows really well. It is a case of star-crossed lovers but told in a way that just about everyone on the planet can relate in some way.

I just finished this book, & what an awesome story. This is a must read, I couldn't put it down. I am left with so many emotions , it left me raw. I have never read a book that put me through so many conflicting feelings. If you don't read this then you are truly missing out!! It's going to be hard for any novel to compare to how I feel about This much is True. Good job Katherine Owen!!

I dedicated an entire Saturday to this book because I couldn't put it down. It was.....wow. There were many times I stopped and had to think about what was happening. It was an awesome read in that way....there was so much real life I felt like it was really happening. No easy way for any of the characters, very refreshing. It was a great book though, only gave four stars because there were very few minor mistakes (no quotations where there should have been that kind of thing.) The story itself....an easy five star!

I hate most romances and normally only read them when I am flat out of anything else to read. A good friend gave me this book and it surprised me to no end. I think the characters were realistic well balanced and the story line made a lot of sense. I recommend it for girls.

I loved this book from the start. Most romance novels are so cliche and full of repetition. I rated this 4 stars because I found myself so caught up in the emotions. I don't want to spoil the book, so all I can say us that I absolutely would recommend this to anyone. Thank you Katherine Owen for writing this book you are so talented!!

***3 Elvis Rockin' Stars!***
(Possible spoiler below)

I will admit that this book got me torn up. It's like I took a ride on an intense emotional rollercoaster and I am not saying this very lightly. One minute I'm curious and holding my breath, the next I was feeling sad and still holding my breath, and then I got extremely p*ssed off and I wasn't holding my breath anymore but I'm pulling my hair out.

It started slow but not exactly dragging and it held my interest. It was a good read, an exciting and emotional one up until about 50% of the book. After that, it went pretty downhill for me.

I only read the synopsis of this book once before I one-clicked it because I think it was on sale at .99c and it seemed like my kind of book. But I didn't start reading until just a few days ago, weeks after I bought it, and I went in "almost" blind.

This Much Is True sort of reminded me of Crash, Clash, and Crush by Nicole Williams (which I loved!) except this one is heavier, more emotional.

What I loved and enjoyed about this book:

- this is not the usual NA teeny bopper romance novel

- I appreciate the depth of the story and the second-chance romance theme

- the age difference (she's not that young, and he's not that old)

- Marla is such a great friend to have

- Lincoln Presley. Lincoln Presley. Lincoln Presley.

What went wrong in this book for me:

- the first thing that bothered me was the constant mention of Holly's death. It's like every paragraph since it happened, there's a mention of it except until when Tally got pregnant it mellowed down a bit.

- Lincoln was lovely, but it's like they didn't exactly have any love affair to begin with except for the attraction and that "one-night stand"

- their "relationship" was on and off, it's exhausting to read. Like really, really exhausting. Make up your mind, Tal and Elvis!

- with all the dragging of their love story (or lack thereof), the conclusion seemed hurried to me. It's like the author noticed that the story is already getting too long and dragging to read and she hurriedly just put a conclusion to it. I know that is not the case but that was how I felt about it.

I'm not going to dwell on this anymore, I would just like to share my thoughts on this. My status updates below would tell you I how I felt and you'll notice when I started not updating. That was the part when the on and off exhausting part started happening and I couldn't deal with it anymore.

Well this is a strange book. By about 30% through it I hated both the main characters. However, the writing style kept me going till the end. Would I read it again, nope. Would I recommend it, probably not.

The underlying story had so much potential, two people completely focused on their career and forsaking everything to realize their dreams make a connection that keeps drawing them back together over a number of years. The problem for me was how unlikable the main characters turn out to be. Both come across as just plain dumb and deal so poorly with each other and everyone around them that the story became unbelievable to me. Don't look for any morals in the characters in this book because they just don't have any. Lots of angst and talk about love but their actions don't reflect it in any way.

I would have given it no stars at all but I have to credit the author with strong writing skills even if I did not really like the characters. Strangely I think I have to read one of her other books to see if it will be better because I really liked the way the this book was written. Pretty weird hey.

"You can't hear heartbreak. It is remarkably silent but excruciating all the same."

Wow this book was such an emotional roller coaster. I really loved this book. This was my first read from this author and I will be looking forward to reading more from her.

The feelings that we often keep buried really come to the surface when reading this novel. It is an unpredictable story, which I love. Distress, angst, love, passion, and loads of denial....just a few words to describe this page turner.

I really liked to overall story here, but WOW...talk about feeling liked I've been Mind-F**ked. There were times in this book that I wanted to somehow jump through my kindle & beat the characters heads together! I almost wanted to throw it across the room, but was too wrapped up in it to put it down. If your looking for DRAMA...this IS the book for you & you will go through every single emotion you have. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Loved the story although there were some points in the book that were painfully drawn out. A heart wrenching love story that at times sure did hit home. Life is too short. Live your dream whatever that may be. Thank you for this beautiful tragic love story!

I didn't really have any specific expectations, but could not resist the characters evolving throughout the story. The different perspectives allowed the pace of the story to keep me wanting to read one more chapter...long onto the night! I gave it four stars mainly because the editing mistakes. I felt very connected to most of the characters.

THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ BOOK!!! An OMG, FABULOUS BOOK!! This is not your typical epic love story, you read about. The book was about hardships that the characters Tally and Lincoln (AKA ELVIS) go though with such demanding careers. And never being the right time for them. With all the Lies and heartache between them. I thought the story line was AWESOME!! The characters (all of them) Holly the twin, Rob, Trembley, Sasha, Marla (The best Friend), Charlie, Kimberly,Nika and Cara all were a key point in the relationship, between the lies of Lin(Elvis)and Tally. And Thank You to the writer Katherine for the NO CLIFF HANGER!! But I started this book in the morning of August 31 and did not finish until 6:00 am on September 1. I just could not put the book down. I had to find out what happen between Lin (Elvis)and Tally. I appreciate your writing and this book, you wrote absolutely amazing book to read.

I feel absolutely drained emotionally having read this in one sitting. I couldn't stop. It was harrowing. Devastating. Infuriating. Fascinating. Enthralling. How much can one relationship endure? You find out in This Much is True.

Whoa! Praise the Heavens I'm done. While I appreciate the different style, there's just too much anguish between Talia & Lincoln. I thought this was an excellent read, the content is pretty heavy to get through, but overall a great job.

I felt like my heart ached through this entire story. But it was sweet, and I never felt frustrated with the characters like with some books. Tally is a strong young woman, and I was captivated by her decisions. I couldn't, rather wouldn't, put this book down. Definitely recommended!!

Well-developed story with aching real characters. I was fully immersed in their world and lives. Would have govern it 5 stars, but there were enough editing issues to distract me from the story several times throughout the novel.
